Corporate facts clearly shared by Manager Sudhir, system will take care message to be kept in mind! Thanks for sharing this video to wider audience.
Sudhir alias Manager Mahesh, you are the mirror of 99% experienced IT professional. Hats off
Nice discussion and points by Sudhir
IT life is tough for everyone but especially people above 40.
1) It is not easy to switch jobs after 15 years of experience
2) The opportunities are less , as companies want their existing employee to get promoted
3) The package will be less , due to demand & supply .
4) Mostly people in early 40 will have Children and aging parent to take care .. Need to take for Hospital visits ..
5) It is not easy to study new technologies due to Family commitments & other stress
6) Body doesn’t respond like early 20 at this age ,
7) Due to Home loan EMI and family commitments can’t quit Job easily ..
This younger generation in early 20 are better since most of them understand IT life after age of 40 is not easy .. so they start planning early
Awesome points
Top management won't change. They have to please the Stock investors. TCS will forever bid cheap maintenance projects and pay peanuts to developers. If TCS rectified it then CTS will bid that project for a cheap price and pay peanuts. So IT service based companies are like thread mills. Earn and save as much as possible and exit before 50. Product based companies will have layoffs because of the high package. At the end of the day earn and escape and have an exit plan.
"Well said. Leadership plays a significant role. Hopefully, more thoughtful leaders will rise to create the necessary change!"
Please avoid background music
Yes irritating😊
Yes, very distracting
Yes irritating 😫
Yes, it's so disturbing..
Background music is Very disturbing & distracting
In corporate life, one thing we should follow is follow the orders of the managers. If you are against your immediate manager then you will not grow. Politics, favouritism - all exists in a corporate life which you've to overcome otherthan the targets which are set by the company. You will never have free time to invest on some preparations for career shifting as you are already engaged and piled up with all the hectic works everyday and all the day you are running like anything and chasing the targets. As Mahesh you mentioned the only way by which you will understand this is when your body goes un well you will realise the effects of work pressure. With this existing system it's really bad for the society who have many dreams while the entering into a job as a fresher gets a bad boss and gets trapped in this loop and can't get out of this. This video really made me to think of myself how I have been in the past and present. But I have today learnt something from you that we should try to break this and come out of the shell. Thank you for your valuable information and thoughts
I have worked with you Sudhir. Proud of you.
You actually missed one more thing here, if you have person who works good, management will start pushing more work to him. Which will become a very hectic down the line 😕
True, the more you deliver, the more you get loaded.
Each and every point is valid..this is the reality
Yes, you are correct. After watching this video, I am also changing my work-life style.
Thank you team you just spoke our heart out
Health is what the most needed one.. People should keep Health in Mind always..
The biggest problem is our education system and parenting builds a clerical attitude and low self-esteem which is played by top management. Your self-confidence and self-esteem is more important than skill set.Dont take crap from anyone and don’t let anyone demotivate you.
Its true .. thanks for the open discussion
Bang on!
Excellent real time view.
Wise revelations from a long time practioner. Sage advice for those starting out in the field and also a reality check for those of us who haven't realized the ways of working 🎉
Reality...great insight..big lesson for all
Factu Factu....! Well said 🫡
It is better to put strong disagree for everything when things go against. It is the only power employees have in the company.
Worth content from people's manager 🎉🎉🎉 Kudos ❤❤
Very much related sir ❤❤ Great work Manager Mahesh
well explained, thank you
Good information 👍.these information are true. There is nothing
Beyond our family and health
Work is part of life.
We can do only for max 8 to 9 hrs only for single day
Yup, family and health is everything
I watched the 2 parts at nakeeran itself. Useful one.🎉
Have you ever fought for manual scavengers…there are so many horrible jobs and we should fight for all of them. During covid I had to go to office and work becoz my boss would lay off. I did it but cannot imagine doing it in my 50-60s. The point is IT jobs seem to have certain comfort which many cannot even dream. It’s important to respect and acknowledge those comforts too. This incident is not due to IT work but a horrible manager or boss. These kind of people exist in all fields. It is important to bring such bosses into public - file lawsuits against them. The whole field is not bad but only some people are bad that’s all I am trying to say.
One of the worth interview
Beautiful explanation my dear manager mahesh lot to know
Could sense and relate to reality, though I'm not from IT background 👍
Whatever you said is completely true but don’t think these issues are only pertaining to IT industry, even non IT it’s the exact same. Btw recently without notice laid off Electrical Engineer. But no worries got another job the very next day by God’s grace 😉😊✌🏽🙏🏽

Im 26 & diagnosed with disc bulge🥲 due to work pressure…now im unable to sit / travel for long hours
Background music is so annoying!! Unable to hear properly
The background music is irritating.
It is actually the Fact, and the secret of services company, and the same encourages the OEMs and we do it cheap. For Ex. If a project costs USD 1 million, they can get the same done at 10% cost so they throw it to indian companies with crucial timelines some time same project for 5 companies and get it done at same cost. The outcome is the one who is done may get another the ones who completed the same second or third will keep having projects at a discounted costs.
What to do have to live in society
Am handling 2 roles at the same time. They keep dumping everything on the people who is working. They also need people who doesnt work simply because they will listen and do whatever they want. On positive side what i am seeing is that am having good learning by handling multiple roles. I know anytime they can fire me. But this learning will help us to survive outside.
That's the reality of corporate life, I feel you, the learning will be useful though.
Reality
Real thing about the world an average earning member of a house.
What is your opinion on mnc it company are now preferring Vietnam because of low wage salary like we were in 1995 period
It will happen, cost effectiveness will always take precedence
They always kept the pressure in back of our mind that you can be fired anytime..
Sick music
Sir IT field nalla salary neettana dress ethukku Mela Enna venum, naa mechanical engineer ennoda salary 45000 ,10 years field experience own house, own coconut form some extra landum erukku ponnu kedakkala Enna kaaranam pathingana IT IT IT maplayanu kekkuranunga ,eppo IT starting salary 30000 but nanga ( civil, mechanical, electrical) kastapatdrom nanga ,40 vayusukkulla IT erukkuravanunga Ellam paithiyama aganunta 😂
Think of person, who is the bread earner of the family, 4 dependent on him.
Well explained Manager Mahesh Sir ( I mean Sudhir ). You. brought up very valid points. Henceforth there is no brands, all we (salaried employees) should start working for the backup. Credit card and House Loans are another way to trap the salaried employees. Always better (or must) to have "EXIT Plan" to our financial commitments of our life.
Thanks for the appreciation! Keepv watching
Panam sambarichutu enna venumnalum pesalam
Oh wow
Horrible background music
Stupid thought process. I am an individual contributor in an MNC. if I feel pressurized, I raise it to my boss. Work-life balance is not the managers' or the organizations' responsibility. It is up to the individuals to take care of their work-life balance. and nobody forces people to work late regularly. if they don't waste their time during the day, they don't have to sit late nights. some days when there is a deadline, yes everybody works late. that is an anomaly. if you're sitting late regularly, take lessons on scheduling. If an individual fears for their position or fears the manager's wrath, it is in their heads. raising you as a weak individual is not the manager's mistake. grow a pair and stop blaming others for your inadequacies. if you really are looking for someone else to blame, blame your parents. if you really feel that IT is not for you, go find some other job that coddles you.
Thanks for writing what we told in the interview, it shows you heard it so well . Thank you so much 🙂bro
Stupid background music. Too annoying
