third time watching this match and it just gets better each time. gedo is the consummate heel. he's so devoid of conscience that you just got to love him for the performances he gives us. ibushi's amazing agility and the way he sells punishment with every inch of his body makes him one of my very favorite wrestlers.
This is a magnificent face-heel match. Gedo is a great heel: powerful body, black gear, lots of attitude. Ibushi is the perfect face: body that is a cross between a china doll and a Greek statue; colorful gear; great selling of pain/suffering. They both are great fighters: Gedo pounds Ibushi forcefull while Ibushi has amazing high-flying moves. It doesnt get much better than this!
wow, 11 years ago, Ibushi and Gedo are adversaries of old. Gedo cursing in English is always a pleasure, lol. 😁 I wonder if those kids are still wrestling fans. ❤
Most of them probably are still into the business, which some probably are because they don't always cry and complain about it all the time so who knows they probably could be and some probably are also crying and complaining because of it, anyways.
for most of the first six minutes ibushi gets his butt kicked as only gedo can kick butt, and ibushi sells it beautifully. there's a change up at 6:00 with ibushi on his game from then on in the kind of action i'd expect from two wrestlers of their caliber.
watching a second time and seeing some great spots. this is a perfect pairing with both selling better than walmart ever has. is the newly bulked up ibushi an indication of things to come? damn, such athletes! i want to see ibushi vs kenta one on one. is there such a match?

i'm an avid fan of both ibushi and gedo. however, ibushi always delivers his body to be punished before. he delivers the win.

今考えたら外道と飯伏って、去年の１２月のスーパーＪカップ戦のリターンマッチから２０１０年１月にオメガと組んで、邪道＆外道で戦って、試合結果で邪道が頚椎損傷でレフェリーストップになってから以降なんだよな。しかも、ＤＤＴにまで乗り込んできた時の外道のマイクパフォーマンスが少し面白かった記憶があります。
とりあえずは、ＤＤＴや去年のスーパーＪカップの借りは返せたってトコかな。
