I mean you’re correct, specifically for a showcase, and that is how he works best, but at the same time giving up a move just for that stat increase feels bad, like in this setup instead of getting a stack of darkness and like probably a Meli card’s worth of damage most times you get nothing but a stat bump, and like yeah it’s a good stat bump but is it good enough to outweigh everything you’d get by playing normally? Especially when he’s not like the only dps on the team? Feels like especially with Gelda that card usage matters way more, but I could totally be wrong, especially cause who needs more cards if they’re dead, but in general I think it’s really only consistently worth if you’re merging cards for a rank up on him
The thing is buffing zeldris neglects the rest of the team’s kit like dk meli. There’s little point in buffing zel anyways since it’s easy to kill him in one turn

They had released Arthur ~3 weeks ago and now netmarble decided to release his full counter, I meant the only problem of demons was the first 1 - 2 turns they basically just stacking darkness and the only way for humans to win against them was to kill estatossa in the 1 turn and kill others in the second, but now we have exacly that demon, which can deal damage in the 1 - 2 turns => no weaknesses at all, great job devs, IG when u buff humans, u straight away recall purg ban and his 6/6 huge brain tactic
Combine it with unknown team, tyr brings debuff, nanashi removes ulti, and albedo protect
Note: they gave LR Zeldris drain on his single target for the sake of activating his relic (mainly useful in longform PVE fights like Demonic Beast battles or DK).
Try using monspiet for the debuffs, It would be really Nice for zeldris

Should use him with AM meli. Cause AM meli applies debuffs and he'll take some of the targeting because he has to get hit

whilst u are cery much correct, the main issue still remains - survivability. If and when Assult Meli gets his eventual LR he should have dmg reduction teamwide for demons/commandments (which he works with anyway). I'd say for rn, 30% should be a long lasting value to go with.
@Khristolfhur well a fix to this although probably kind of cope. Is you could use demon chandler to counter and direct attention to himself. Of course AoEs are still a thing but idk I just love zeldris and also AM meli is my favorite meli so it was just my excitement lol

if you move two times with zeldris ,ou get 240% crit dmg, really good if you have 2x aoe to combine then move again and use it with 240% crit dmg
I’m curious, would putting green merlin in the back actually be quite good for Zel. I say this because, if his commandment counts as ‘Zeldris removing ult gauge’ then it would apply to his passive, so when you move a card first turn, you actually reduce ult gauge, even if you didn’t combine. Run that with Gowther, and honestly, a rank 2 aoe might just team wipe, and a rank 2 buffed single target should by right kill any one target turn one. Just a thought experiment though, and the cc loss would probably make it only a team that’s possible to run as a whale. But hey, an idea, right?

I mean to procl debufs is easy. Sub estarossa for gelda, then put green sariel on her. You instantly get debufs every turn and hitting that extra 80%. Also moving his cards has huge benefit if you get 3 cards for him turn 1 you instantly get +90% and then you’d at least get 15% from his holy relic. Worst comes to worst just ult the next turn assuming he Dosent die.
DK Meli passive is guaranteed grey debuff, why even bother?

So I have the same gear lvl 100 zeldris not lr and no holy relic. Your first two attacks are over 100-200k. Mine are usually around 20k a 2 star zeldris ability I’m lucky if it’s 50k. What am I missing does he have to be paired with other people are is having the lr and holy relic the difference. Really want to like zeldris but he does nothing and idk why.

I think Escanor is fine being as specific as he is, at least so far as in he is also PvE viable for stonks of dmg, and I think he has held up in the Meta and still seems like a usable character with Arthur, so not quite dead. He's actually been my favorite and I prob am biased XD

Then Lost Vayne, who had the annoying issue of still being kinda mid in PvE and required a bit a support in PvP, but he did admittedly rule over after the LR And with the Relic makes him still a really fun Nuke.
Glox, while maybe you could argue he lacks the supporting team to shine (Fairies and Giant sperg when?) I actually think all his power comes from the Relic, he did admittedly get a fair bit changed to better him, but it wasn't done well, it just makes me think "Why didn't you fucking use the better Glox?" who honestly had way more potential. Give him top-tier utility/heal card, turn his AoE into a DMG based Fes Gow debuff, stack those debuffs 5 at a time, then Ruin would make a bit more sense... OH but wait they put the decrease in Stats AFTER the damage on his ult right?! "Oi, shall we apply debuffs for an ult that removes debuffs for huge Dmg before or after it does its shit? Oh and it's a single target." and the two remaining developers stared at each other with cold, dead eyes, lost in the nightmare of endless labour... And now we have this bullshit.
Only to be outdone by Margaret, who I can only surmise as "They did stuff?... oh yea, I guess they did"

If you need to debuff them in order to get more damage with your zeldris then why not just put green sariel on one of your units; sure your losing the stats you gain from having red sariel but you gain the debuffs that you need for zeldris to pop-off
You didn't move Zeldris' cards at all. That's how he does big damage. His passive is that he gains crit chance/damage by moving cards. You talk about his passive but never actually do it in your showcase! You're not playing him correctly and yet you're saying "He could have been a better unit".

@@lupus_aeterna7793 not so much about the DMG, he just doesn't bring much to the table. Why use him if you have God Meli and DK. DK supports the team with DMG reduction has a similar aoe and is more consistent. LR Zeldris won't last long if he doesn't get a buff or some changes

Festarossa give debuffs? DK meli gives debuffs? You can literally run any Sin with this team instead of festa? Run Gold liz if you feel like it. Zelris is a first turn pvp only, after that ditch him and focus using your toher two units. Gold Liz can keep him alive a bit longer, just take a little longer to build her stacks
Video idea for fun: Use Zeldris with AM and estarossa/gelda with cusack in the back. AM can give basic stats and debuffs

@@cyzygy my thought was Estarossa, Glox and Zeldris where you AOE with both Glox and Zeldris in the start to build estarossa stacks and survive thanks to HP increase + Glox 30% defense related stats and next turn you either get a Zeldris AOE or you can use the Glox single target and just murder them, again im not sure if this is just copium to see Glox being used somehow

yeah no way he's dethroning DK Zeldris.Honestly, I hope they step up their LR releases, the last 3 LRs are all mid (Margaret didnt even changed, they just gave her crit res decrease, Glox is Whale heavy and Zeldris is a glas canon)
LV was somewhat good on release, Escanor and Liz got the best treatment so far imo.

Demons are just kind of a boring team tbh. What the point of having the race, and the Ten Commandments, when all you're going to do is run the same Meliodas, Estarossa, and Zeldris units. Zeldris is just somewhat evolving from Nebula, to DK, to this. Meliodas updates every few months to being a new unit that hits slightly harder than the last. And Estarossa is a race check for Cusack.
Gelda is unironically so much more exciting cuz its a new named unit.
