@@homemadehandle bad damage, nonexistent commandment that's nullified by constant cleanses and ludociel grace (if someone wants to run that), buff removal rank 1 on lr escanor, a hybrid dps tank that was not given enough damage nor tankiness, "spike" on a multiplier that does little to no damage, bleed not mattering because of the bad damage dealt, coerce still being random chance and galland not being tanky enough to withstand being a taunt for long, coerce is NEVER reapplied even if the target coerced was killed, and he generally has little to no usage in pve (coerce CAN work, but only works one time only)
^ now all of the above is without a relic, i'm hoping that the relic can alleviate some things
@@homemadehandle When he curses a target, this unit can only attack Galand with single target cards, its damage is reduced by 40% and debuff effects do not work , Even with all this, Galand is bombarded by most of the people cursed by him ☠️
His commandment practically only works on Gowthers and his damage is mid for most of the gameplay, in addition he is as fragile as Zeldris Lr
I think that's the problem with the game, they make relic so op before and make it not that op now, it's probably going to be the same as lr they make the first to before galland op and make Galland dogshit just because.
One simple change would made him godly: instead of the damage increases being on petrified characters change It to characters with bleed
The worst thing about LR Galland, regardless of how strong he is or can be, is the fact that demon team is so oversaturated there is no need for an LR Galland.
They’re probably stingy with LRs because with how many free LR coins we get, getting LRs is pretty much free, so they don’t want to make LR characters super good because then people might not spend as many gems on summonable characters.

By "how many free LR coins we get", you mean the events or that one thing where we get the coins usually?
To your point, it begs the question why even bother making LR units? Granted, it’s to give outdated units a huge boost, but this most recent release was pitiful.
Genuinely only 2 worth doing when considering all content, pretty nuts
Lr coins are easy to get, but the devs completely control the amount we get and they don't give enough pendants and xp pots by far

If I were to give any credit to the devs, I’d say they were smart about not giving galland a relic yet because they don’t know how he’ll perform so they’re gonna use the data from there so they can make him better when they do release his relic compared to Glox who is gonna be just as good/bad as his was released as an LR

@@Gunn3r71 ain't no way it's gonna cost squirrel mats, only way that's the case is if it's a godly relic but we all know it won't be. They used dogs for Glox so probably they'll use Nidhoggr.

I am very hyped for the Shield Hero showcases
relic concept for galand : if his atked more then one time by the same charchter they get patrafied(works like glox comandment),for each time he patrefies the enemy increses atk realted stats by 15%(max 2 stacks) and gievs 5%hp realeted stats for evry demon on the team

If they would also add in a: ‘for every buff on the hero increases alies damage dealt and decreases alies damage taken by 3%’ it would be phenomenal
This is good cuz it works for red galland too. But we all know netmarble won't put this much thought into him.
Have the petrification be when he gets attacked one time rather than by the same character more than once. Increase the stack limit to 5 and increases basic stats by 20% not just for Galland but also all demons on the team.
Theres no point. They'd simply use 1 attack per character, or have a meli cleanse. Also you can only activate the extra damage once since attacking would unpetrify them

Relic Idea for Galland
When applying Coerce on an enemy, that enemy cannot use an all attack skill. Additionally when the hero uses a Single-Target attack, deals 25% additional damage equal of the Hero’s Max HP (additional 15%+ if there is a debuff)
Your idea makes Red Galland look like an actual powerhouse, very nice idea.

they could easily make a relic for him: when the coerced unit doesn't attack galland twice in a turn it gets petrified. would be lore correct too.

Easier solution to his relic: if the cursed enemy attacks, it gets petrified, you basically lock a whole hero from using skills.
I like how they made another LR with bleed and alongside him made a new unit with bleed and they're both significantly worse than LR glox for the new beast so at this point we're just gonna keep getting bleed units for the next 5 months until they get one that will actually work for the beast

I was thinking what if his relic gives him:
Receive
15% crit dmg buff
20% crit chance buff
Whenever a demon ally uses a single target skill card
Buffs lasts 2 turns
(Limit up to 5 times)
And increases own basic stats by 5% each demon ally on the battlefield.
Also whenever commandment triggers, ignores enemy nullifyfication, cleanse, remove debuff skill card.
I'd love to see blue demon meli be a LR but probably not

Yeah, Galland has on of my favourite 7DS designs and in this game… not only do we NEVER see more of the commandments, they always end up being gimmicky and straight mid.

Yes Nag, but they should be, given the stupid investment cost. And you need to see it from the opposite perspective too: If they are UNDERpowered since release, it means they will fall off insanely fast, which then ONLY puts them back in the spot they were BEFORE the LR. Unusuable box dust.
Don't get me wrong, balancing IS important, but at the same time, those units haven't had a use in YEARS, they should get something very future proof. You often compared Dokkan EZA, which does make units so strong on release that they would straight up overpower the Banner version and stay relevant for quite some time. (I think you also mentioned they are getting 2nd EZA by now but I have been away from Dokkan for many many years now xD)
Finally someone who gets it. Frankly its harder to get an LR vs a new festival. But the fest units always last much longer. The LRs should be seriously top of the range characters that push the limits of what that old passive can do. The only reason a character gets an LR is because they're unusable. Therefore unless its a pve LR, they need to 1. Stop making semi decent characters (or characters who's alternative is a must) LR. Margeret and zeldris shouldve never became LR. They also need to make LR units focused on longevity so they wont need a second LR anytime soon. Escanor is a good example. His blast debuff will be strong for a while.
@@vegitosaysalright2365 I don't think they are "harder to get" due to them now giving LR coins left and right. But the rest of the problems is true, I don't see a point of making units LR just to throw them away 1-2 weeks after release and have them just became CC fodder for 4th slot on pvp cause they don't contribute anything else and STILL BE ACCOUNT BOX DUST even tho LR should be a massively hype release and long-term rework. Netmarble needs to take note of this and go more all out on LR changes. Units like Margaret make no sense at all cause she was still good and now she never will come back once she ACTUALLY falls off in the future when new godess replaces her on release. She will be unusuable forever at that point. Not what an LR is supposed to be LMAO

The LRs are dead now that they introduced UR rarity units. They are no more than a box cc or links now.
Maybe his relic made him broken, and they didnt have time to readjust so he'd still be mid, so they delayed it
