I did end up using needle nose pliers to get the zip ties as tight as possible. It took any wobble out from the mount to the helmet. Now any wobble is just due to me being a bobble head.
I watch Florida marquis he goes over changes while doing his show I spent forever removing trailforks links an adding to comments then also joined bitchute. Just in case . Like I think slowly small channels going get removed an UA-cam going turn into Netflix yikes!!
I was wondering when someone was going to do a video for this. Adding an extension between the seat tube mount and the camera, so that it sits a little lower, helps pretty dramatically with the horizon view, if you plan to trail other riders. Changing the angle just that little bit, to get it down closer to where a chest mount would be, adds a little to the immersiveness as well, IMO. It doesn't impact anything, other than if you put too long of an extension and REALLY squash jumps, it can hit the stem in rare instances...which did happen to me once wearing it during an enduro race. It didn't damage anything, but it got my attention! For most everything else, my forward body tilt has the camera completely out of the way even with the short extension.
Awesome, that is a great tip! Didn't even occur to me to extend that lower. Now to see what I did with my extender... I was just complaining this morning about losing my handlebars in the footage when it is mounted that way. The EIS on the DJI Osmo Action also crops a bit more than the Hero 7 & 8, so it has already been a battle to keep my bars in frame.
Yeah, I personally prefer to ride then adjust. Maybe just a hold-over from riding with a chest mount, but I feel that I get a better angle if I can see how it looks while riding vs. just sitting on the bike while holding my phone.
Hey neverpro dood be advised external links in description are bad under YT new bs policy. I have spent last 2 hours removing trailforks from description an adding it to comments instead I think comments are ok. But Amazon shopping links product links yikes ..just letting you know . I still have few more vids need to remove links

thanx for the vid and thanks for using white
gonna need that helmet to.... I have a full faced Scorpion snell / dot. got some ideas though
I do like the Proframe. Comfortable and has great ventilation.
You can download the DJI app and connect your smartphone with the camera. Then you can adjust the view just the way you want it.

Thanks man! I'l look into that tonight. Seems like that is going to upset a lot of UA-camrs.
Thanks man. I just bought the Akaso V50 Pro. I'll be using this technique on my fox Proframe helmet 👍Subbed
Thanks man! The GoPros get all the attention, but there is a great range of cameras out there. Let me know what you think about the Akaso.
