I’ve been a novice plant grower for 40+ years, this is the best guidance and explanation source I’ve come across ever! Thank you! I’ll be back for everything you’ll put out there!
Because they don't want their brains to work, because that's an effort they don't want to take, so this sounds to technical and from Mars talking. I am with you, it is annoying. If the dislikes come from biologists, I would love to read about their views on the issue
Don't give your time. They are unhappy people. Give them a thumbs down and move on. I NEVER let them or people like that screw around with my serenity. 🧘♀️
I have watched at least 20 of your videos, and it still makes me smile every time you say "plaunts". 🥰🥰 I love it so much that every time my roommate asks about new growth or any exciting new developments, I've listening to so many of your videos around him that now he asks how my "plaunts" are doing. 😂☺️🥰
I feel very fortunate to have found your channel. I highly appreciate your being straightforward in presenting solid information - without trying to be “Hollywood” with fanfare, bells and whistles. It feels like my mind is getting fed very well, with emphasis on the nutrition rather than the presentation. Thank you very much. Request: Please do a video on jade plants.
This Swedish guy has the best information on any plant. His explanations are simple to understand and easy to follow. I never subscribe to anything but he’s the best of the best. I try to watch all his videos even if I don’t have the plants he talks about. So informative.
How can anybody NOT like not like this channel! You are very informative and make things very easy to understand. Keep putting theses excellent videos out there!
Omgosh, i have just found ur channel, and i love it. The way u explain about plants and their needs is fantastic. U explain in a way that is so easy to understand plants. And ur teaching of the highway system was great. Thankyou so much for sharing ur videos. 😎
Loved ur explanation! Made my understanding so simple that it left me wondering now why didnt i deduce this before?excellent i hope u keep giving us more such insightful videos .thanks
c'est un réel BONHEUR depuis que j'ai découvert votre chaîne.....c'est très bien expliqué, simple et efficace!!!!!! ne changez rien s'il vous plait et surtout un grand merci.
This took me back to my school biology days - phloem and xylem etc. I wish my teacher had explained photosynthesis your way. Even better would be if he said “plaunt” the way you do 💕 Your videos are the best reference for growing healthy houseplants
This was extremely informative-more so than any other UA-cam video I’ve watched about the exact topic. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything so clearly, and in a way that anyone could understand 💗
Great video. Thank you! I just remembered an interesting fact that a friend told me that some succulents actually slow their growth or even shed leaves when provided with more light as this helps the plant remain hydrated when there is a scariness of water. Less leaves = less area to lose moisture from.
I’m actually never subscribed any Channel who recommend about plants.but this channel got me good I’m Subscribed and ring the bell and I got all the best information thank you so much I’m very impressed ur Channel ^_^
Love your channel and the amazing information you demonstrate and openly teach.Thank you so much. My Pothos are beautiful. I repotted them and I learned how to do it from watching your channel.
I discovered you, Swedish Plantguys, last night. Thank you for saving me from repotting my plants incorrectly and without the correct soil mix ( soil and pumice). On behalf of my plants, they also say thank you. Your videos are all entertaining, educational and on point! Question- perhaps you already cover this in an existing video, how to plant in a container without holes for proper drainage? Also, who are you? Please at some point let us know your name and how you have come to know so much about plants. Btw, you say that talking to plants increases CO2 exposure for them and that is good for growth. Personally, I like to think it's our friendship that causes them thrive so well. I know my plants always make me feel better and "grow". Thanks again!
Love your videos, I've been gardening a loooooong time but I always learn something new from you guys. Are you an ex teacher? I used to be a teacher and you definitely talk like one!!!
I love you all. I am a serious gardener but I still learn a lot from your videos!! By the way my sister in law ( Liz Westrin from Stockholm Sweden says hi)
Your videos are the best I have seen. Great information and explained in Avery good way. Keep up the good work, I would be lost without this info. Thanks!
I've been growing plants over 60 years. I sometimes forget that plants need more than fertilizer and water to make them bigger. I have grow lights on all my indoor plants but most don't grow as large as the plants that are outdoors and winter in the greenhouse. Can't wait for warm weather to move most of them outside!
I really love the explanation and it's very clear! One thing what I missed is how does the plant make proteine? Because it can't make proteine out of pure sugar, therefore it also needs nitrogen. Thanks in advance for answering :)! I really like this channel and have binged it in the last month, it's very informative and gives me a deeper understanding of how plants work.
I am a subscriber and have been for a while now. I have to agree with what's been said before by others in that you channel is most informative and helpful. Keep the good videos coming!
Thanks for the science lesson and I know why my bedside plant is doing well - CO2 every night. Some of my plants need more light, soon they will be better now I know these facts #plantjoy
I discover your channel only today and I am amazed with the very ibteresting information you give in every video ( I spent my afternoon going through à lot of your videos). Thank you so much for all details and tips . I learned à lot today .
Show us more videos about pumice please! I've been experimenting with using it on some of my houseplants and I'm getting good results. But there aren't many videos about it, only the ones that you've made. It's surprising that more people aren't using pumice
Hello Swedish Plantguys, Thank you very much for the explanatory videos. I really enjoyed the ones related to dracaenas, since recently I have bought couple of varieties. I am a new subscriber to your channel and in few of your videos, you are talking about pumice. I have reviewed the specific video for that and got really interested in the volcanic rock. I live in Bulgaria, and I have visited multiple stores and go on a lot of websites, but was unable to find similar mixture to the one you are describing. In most of the cases the volcanic rock sold here is used for decoration or only for aquarium purposes. Can you please help us find such potting mixture or at least give us a link/photo of the bag which it is shipped with ? Thank you in advance and keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next videos !!
Wow, you really broke it down for me and I now understand what to do to grow healthier plants. I need to replant a plant that I've had for over 20 years. I wanted to keep it in the same pot and the roots are severely over grown. It has stop growing new leaves and I was concerned.
Thank you for shearing your information & knowledge about plants 🌱.. My question is if plants are doing photosynthesis to get sugar , then is it a better way to add sugar to the soil? I’m only wondering!!!
Adding sugar to the soil won't help the plant (if I remember my biology lessons from school). I'm not a botanist or plant biologist, but I vaguely recall learning this in school. The sugars that plants make are at the basic level, which then gets used to make more complex sugars (like cellulose) and carbohydrates (in tuberous plants).
I love your video’s. Would you happen to have any tips on how to prepare a outdoor plant for winter ? I have a lime plant in the garden and we have winters with temperatures as low as -12C
I’ve been a novice plant grower for 40+ years, this is the best guidance and explanation source I’ve come across ever! Thank you! I’ll be back for everything you’ll put out there!
I was very impressed with this valuable experience
Not sure why there’s negative comment(s) I found this very helpful, thank you

In Atlanta, we just call them haters, lol.
