Beekeeping: Hive Inspection Tips for Late July

This video shows a detailed hive inspection of two larger hives that I have toward the end of July. I check to see how they are coming along with brood production, look for any small hive beetles, find the queen, and also add sugar water to the top of the hive to allow them to have some nectar substitute during a time of dearth. Great inspection and the girls are doing awesome!
