Great mix of bands two doses of Saki again she is my fave guitarist by a long way and i love Ningen they always give me early Sabbath vibes and yes this had Zeppelin vibes as well i like your reactions .And yes Nemo do a skid row cover any of the covers by Nemo are ace as well.
@@brewtalityfilmsllc4871 Love your reactions. Show-Ya are the legends of Japanese lady metal/rock. They celebrate 35 years in the industry this year. They recently released a new single called EYE to EYE which is excellent and worth checking out. You'll still identify early metal moments in this I imagine. Show-Ya's lead guitarist Sun-go is a massive influence on Saki from Nemophila and Mary's Blood. They refer to each other as "mother" and "daughter".
Keep Whiskey Dust on your radar!! They are going places! I think the thing with Mary's Blood is some of their stuff needs repeated listens to comprehend everything going on. They are a totally different breed, and it's probably why they aren't as popular as a lot of the other J-metal bands even though they've been around much longer.
Unlucky Morpheus is considered Visual Kei, but you wouldn't really realize it unless you watch a lot of their videos. The lead singer designs their costumes even the bassist who usually looks like he wandered in off of the street and onto the stage 😊. Even though Black Pentagram is a great song and is one of their more popular songs, it's not their best song. If you want the Final Fantasy vibe, check out their song Unending Sorceress which is based off of current Final Fantasy characters 🤘😊🤘
Oh, you picked a good one. These ladies are living her best life right here. The lady that introduced NEMOPHILA was Keiko Terada, lead singer of SHOY-YA... the "OG" off all-female J-Rock/Metal. NEMOPHILA kicks your ass with a smile on their face. 🌸🔥
First song "Oiran" - Nemophila is No. 1, definitely. Excellent choice. Probably some other commenters yet mentioned it: Nemophila releasedd a cover of Skid Row's Youth gone wild less than two weeks ago, and guess how it sounds? Great, of course. (ua-cam.com/video/4DUL2dZbj7s/v-deo.html) Second song ... - Whiskey Dust is a great band; since I got to know them and realized that they are releasing new videos regularly, I try to promote them and suggested them lots of reactors already - but up to know I got ignored, I guess. Don't know why 'cause this band is awesome, and they stated that it's their intention to produce that kind of sound, raw, without re-engineering and digital modifications. Thanks for incorporating them in your epic mega bowl! This wasn't even their best tune imho ... and fun fact: their guitarist calls herself Erika vab Halen, guess why? She's definitely a monster player, and her style is unique compared with all other japanese guitarists. Third song "World's End" by Mary's Bloos - are you aware that the guitarist here is playing with Nemophila, too. It's Saki ( or Chaki "Chucky", as Mayu named her at the end of the Oiran performance), probably the most cherished shredder lady of her generation in Japan! Enough for today, go on with that great mega bowl video broadcast, it's a banger!
New sub here. Not sure if you guys were aware of this, but the guitarist for Mary's Blood is Saki. She is also one of the guitarist for Nemophila. She is a current member of both bands 🤘😊🤘
Not sure if you checked out the Ningen Isu lyrics, but the song is based on an H.P. Lovecraft short story. It is about ancient gods and terrifying creatures from other worlds and dimensions. They have a few Lovecraft songs. Ningen Isu seem to love stories about demons, ghosts and such. Perfect for Halloween season.
Great job, love your reactions. Hoping you do Nemophilas songs Raitei - music vid, and Fighter. Raitei means thunder, and the last 20 seconds are pure banging thunder. Fighter very hard rock, GnR style. Raitei Mayu has a very cool use of vocal in chorus. Don’t know if you caught Dissension live, from this same show. Band Maid try their instrumental song Onset, the songs: Manners, After Life, or Blooming. Love when you guys like something, you can tell your feeling it. Saki in both Nemo and MB. The band Destrose from 2014, you can check out song Rin, get Miho and Harunna before Lovebites.
I've got an idea for the next mega bowl: Nemophila covers! There is Skid Row, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Linkin Park, RATM, Bon Jovi, Kiss and many more, and best of them Minions - Banana song.
@@steveratcliffe2181 A lot of people pass on their Japanese covers, but I think that they are there best ones. Mayu is not worrying about pronouncing the lyrics the whole time and can really concentrate on her vocals. Both of the MtH covers are great and her voice is so nice on the Luna Sea cover.
Dexcore had won my heart since my first listening.. It's weird to listen someone sings a feminine clean voice in a drop A tuning instrumental but then they hit you with the deep low growl and pig squeals voice🤟🤟
Deviloof was mentioned in chat. They are a death core Visual Kei band with in my opinion a heavier sound then Dexcore. Try Deviloof's song Newspeak for a start 🤘😁🤘
Mary's Blood SAKI - The Goddess of Shredding / EYE - Vocalist / RIO - Bass - / Mari - Drums. You have seen SAKI with Nemophila she also does solo stuff also. By far my favorite band out of Japan. They can change up from Metal to Heavy Rock. LoveBites I love their stuff but it starts sounding the same after a while. I'm glad you pick up on EYE's energy her voice is so strong, Mari is so under rated but beats her kit like there's no tomorrow. RIO is so lay back on the bass with some strong bass line. Thank's I hope do more reactions on them.
I think Nemophila's new album is really great. 《Hypnosis》 should be their most special and heaviest song, full of exotic and core , even without the guitar solo, and the main riff of the song reminds me of 《god of fire》 by Fit for the king .🔥 And《game over》 is such a emotions song! The song:《onikari》(鬼灯) is a bit like some MTH style. 《rollin rollin》 is completely haraguchi's song! It’s a pity that good songs like 《breaking out》, 《blooming》 and 《creature》 are not included in the new album. I really want to hear how the sounds of the studio version is.
🇯🇵 metal FTW! Nemophila, love those girls, they always seem like they are having a super time jamming together! Whiskey Dust, reminded me of what might’ve happened if Slash got really drunk and hooked up with Lita Ford, but I think I liked the bass player the best. Dexcore rocks, that Marys Blood song was freaking kickass! Ningen ISU 😳 always jamming, that title is the same as a Lovecraft story. They said they were inspired by Black Sabbath, and “horror music” fits, as that is how Tony Iommi described the concept he and Geezer had for the band.
OMG YESSSS!!!!!! JP METAL FOR THE MF'ING WIN!!!! Dude... I can NOT get enough!!!!! And omg don't even get me started about Whiskey Dust!!!! They are SO BAD ASS!!!!
