Did the Honda Rebel 1100 blow me away after taking it on a test ride? Will it be my next bike? Am I willing to head straight down to the dealer and trade in my Honda Rebel 500 RIGHT NOW?! I answer ALL of these questions and much more as well as go over my initial thoughts of the Honda Rebel 1100 in this video. I had a blast on this motorcycle and wanted to provide my thoughts after riding it as well as some of the differences between the Rebel 500 and the Rebel 1100. This is somewhat of a Honda Rebel 1100 review video, though I will save the official one for a later date if I do get this motorcycle. Let me know in the comments what you think about this bike and if you would like to see it on the channel one day. Ride Safe!

I am a new rider and i started riding on the 1100 dct. One of my best descisions of my life . I rode about 2 weeks in Rain Mode . Then i made a custom mode which i am riding most of the time now. If i want to Go really fast i Switch to Sport Mode . I think the 1100 is a great beginner Bike except for hot heads . You can take your time and learn in rain mode and then raise power step by step .

That’s awesome, thank you for sharing your experience. Great insight for sure, it probably helps teach throttle discipline as well. Ride safe!

I got my 500se back in mid June. Now garaged for our Scottish winter. Got 2300 miles already. Great for my 5 foot 4 and 27 inch inside leg.
Also got the great RE 350 Meteor, on tippy tip toes.
I did sit on the 1100. I could flat foot it, but will stick with my 500 as I got a Datatool security and service plan, so if I traded in, the new buyer, would benefit greatly.
But, for me, it’s the only upgrade that’s a no brainer.
Would stick with the manual and non touring version.
I quite like the bat wing fairing, over the touring one. Plus I gotta have the heated grips. I would take the Honda saddle bags from my model, to save a few £/$
You mention, it’s more forward. I thought this with my 500, so added bar risers to rise and a little forward to me too. So, would defo need that also, I guess.
Keep up the good work. …….weemark67.😊

Yeah, I am in the same boat. I bought an extended warranty when I got my 2021 Rebel 500, but that will be up next riding season.
I might consider the 1100T now that they have a manual version, but I’m really liking the color for the 2024 1100 in that blue. Heated grips would be amazing also!
      Thanks! Ride safe ✌️

Yes. It IS that good. I've had mine for almost 3 weeks now, and I've only missed one day riding it. I can't speak to the 500, as I've never owned one, but, man, I can't say anything bad about my 1100. I do not see a single down side to upgrading. And get the upgradable diamond stitched seat! Totally worth it!! If you were on the East Coast, I'd offer to trade bikes for a few hours.
And under helmet itches are the worst! lol

Ahh man, too bad I’m in the west coast haha!
But I’m glad you have been enjoying it, I knew it would be a bike I would not regret getting after I rode it.
I’ve loved the 500 so much these past few years, so I’m sure the 1100 would be an awesome bike to upgrade to.
lol yes they are, always coming at bad times too 😂

I can see an 1100 in your future. Way different ride , gives a big boy feel , cruise.

Yes, I could easily see a future where I have an 1100. Price alone makes them a better option than other bikes in its class.
