Mick Gordon is not involved in composing music this time unfortunately. Both songs you mentioned is all him. Sadly I don't have high hopes for this games soundtrack. I even find this a bit generic in comparison to past games. Still fitting, just doesn't get stuck in your head.

Agreed. I heard that Mick tried to negotiate with Bethesda to re-release the soundtrack to DOOM: Eternal, but no luck so far. As for Andrew, he's really got a feel for Mick's vibe, adding some primal aggression to his sound, which makes his sound no less unique.
Of course Hulshult makes better tracks, Mick is too dubstepy and tries too hard to make his tracks with unusual rhythms and signatures which makes it hard to enjoy outside the game. I blast Hulshult's tracks on full volume while driving. Technological Terror has been my #1 on Spotify 2 consecutive years now
Honestly Andy has made this kinda his own, this feels like it'll have a much more medival tone while still being metal as hell, you can clearly hear that kind of march into war vibe. This game is gonna go back to the age before the Slayer and i cannot wait because that probably means we are gonna be fighting the actual gameplay version of the Unholy Crusade

Sorry but Mick will always be the definitive Doom composer since Eternal. Hulshult's stuff is good but it sounds too stilted and traditional. Mick's stuff felt unconventional like it wasn't afraid to try new stuff and it rocked for it.
Mick was the one who was able to create and adapt such heavy music and make the gameplay even more fun. And it's great to see that he has a lot of followers. The way DOOM Eternal OST turned out is unfair.

This sounds great in almost all areas, but the core of it, the guitar itself feels muted in sound and intensity. It doesn't "pop" like it does in the trailer. Feels more punchy in the trailer. Idk if its a balance thing, it sounds like the guitar is background music when it should be front and center.
It's probably Andrew Hulshult. He has agressive and "clicking" sound, his stuff sounds like more metal. But perhaps there will be more than one composer.

I think it's just as sick as Mick's music. Hulshult's style is less synthesized and more primitive which fits the game's setting
