RUNNING LIMBHOOKS FOR CATFISH ON THE PEARL RIVER IN THE CANOE

i am putting limb lines in the deeper holes of the pearl river a few miles below the head of the river for catfish and we luck up and catch one bowfin that we call grennel here. we show how we tie line to trees so that they can be removed faster.we do all this paddling the canoe.

I was at the south end over the pearl river today. Gettin to be a little too much salt water pushin up into the river this year.

Where The crap on pearl where you? I’ve not seen pearl that narrow anywhere in or around rankin county area.

No i hated to see it dead. These folks around here scared of them i think. Canoe is 16 foot. I really wish it was 14 foot, i was gonna build a pirogue but lowes dont have the wood
