Paper Currency- Banknote Education and History with Legendary Coin Shop Owner- Arthur Knight
Вставка
- Опубліковано 17 лют 2023
- Coin shop owner, Arthur Knight, shows off paper currency and educates on banknote history in this video. Whether your a longtime paper money afficienado or just curious about these silver certificates and gold certificates, I think you'll enjoy this one. We even threw in a story about the famous bank robber, John Dillinger. What more could you ask for in a coin shop video? Watch until the end to see what I purchased at this gem of a coin shop that's been around for decades. The real treasure here is Mr. Knight's willingness to share his stories with us to enjoy. Who would have know how much $500 bills were worth so much! As always, thanks for watching!

Love the looks of the old notes. So awesome. Thanks for sharing Mr Knight's knowledge with us
My pleasure Sal. Fun to hang with the legendary Mr. Knight. He’s a big deal around here.
I thank you.
I have always been fascinated by old notes, mainly because of the fragile nature of them holding onto the history in such a detailed way!
I think they’re beautiful, but am not educated enough to put real money into purchasing them. Maybe someday.
I had to watch this a couple of times. Mr. Knight confirmed what I already know and that is how much I don’t know! Really enjoyable!
Thanks for watching! Glad it was enjoyable enough to watch more than once. I’m learning about paper currency. Don’t know much.
I’m glad T went back to this coin Shop … one of my favorite so far Knight seen like a great guy and I Wished I had him closer to me to drop by once a week and learn as much as I can… Thanks T 🙏🏽

Hey, T, great video always. Did you get a chance to check out Chitown Coins for the Black Proof Special Edition 3oz coin bar ? They still have some now. I purchased one after I saw your video on the reverse proof bar. It is in the mail and will arrive next week. Remember, they only minted 499 of the Special Edition Black Proof. Have a great weekend, T.
Hey Slayer. I’ve seen the black one. Looks pretty cool. Low mintage too! Congrats on picking one up!

Missed the premiere this week but another outstanding coin shop video T! What a great history lesson & visit with Mr. Knight. Thanks for your efforts! Definitely a passionate group of collectors to tackle those premiums but the old paper currency is quite the sight! 🇺🇸

3:04 The coin shop dealer is wearing a revolver. That's i've never seen by a local coin shop dealer where i live in Switzerland.
Most do around here. Thanks for watching from so far away.
There most not be much crime or criminals to worry about in Switzerland and no need to have a gun which must be nice. I wish America 🇺🇸 was like that.
They are very cool
Thanks Kayne!
Fairbanks Alaska brown seals are rare but out there.
Cool variety!
Here in Switzerland where i live almost none include me collect bank notes. Some try to sell old 1000 swiss francs bank notes like the Ameise (Ant) but it seems nobody want to buy it!
I don’t know much about banknotes. I’m learning.
@@TtheSilverStacker
Today i saw a woman who paid with 40 x 1000 swiss francs bank notes gold and silver in a big coin shop. Switzerland has still 1000 swiss francs bank notes in circulation. Quite unique!
I have a national note from So.Bend.
Cool. My brother lives there.
Lived there from birth in '49 until my late wife and I moved to Georgia in '97. We got tired of the snow! Had a shop there. One day, long ago, someone brought in a large collection of currency. There were about 200 national's including couple large. Complete set of educational's etc.etc. Sold them all slowly but kept the one. I have it and my gold in the bank so I have to use my 73 year old brain to remember which bank. Lol. Think it was Farmer's Bank. Pretty sure it closed during the depression. There is some chance that the building is still standing?
😎
: )
Hi, So I found a 10 dollar bill with S7 printed on it.I can not find any info on it's significanse.
