Mel and Jack sex scene or lovemaking scene was 10 out of 10 in my opinion. off the chart. I honestly did not expect it. The chemistry and emotions between them were great. The looked like two people really in love. I love Mel and jack. A third season, please.
Beautiful show, a great relief to watch a series which shows range of human emotions and mostly focuses on positive aspects. Love all the characters, especially Jack, Mel, Doc and Preacher.

That's why I broke up with her 13 years ago and now I'm basically a real-life version of Jack, and I'm happy to say that I've been with a woman who I see as my real life version of Mel for 10 years.
This is such an amazing series. I had to rewatch season 1 then watch season 2. Jack and Mel are so made for each other. Wowza the last episode in season 2.

Just finished reading the first book last night. I think the show does a good job of capturing the essence of both characters but I like the depth that they have added in the show.
I can't think of anyone else playing the part of Mel and Jack. Where did Martin Henderson come from. He is so gorgeous, and nice, and sweet, and respectful to all women, even to Char. Please don't destroy their relationship in S3. And lucky New Zealand.

After that they become very good friends, because Mel helps the woman get through the period of depression. Afterwards, one of Mel's friends travels to Virgin River and falls in love with Charmain. So Mel and Jack become free. Jack recovers, physically and mentally as well. Jack buys the house from Hope, so Mel has a real home. Mel finish the school and becomes a doctor, so she follows Doc Mullins after his retirement. Jack's mother visits him and meets Mel too. Mel is very familiar with the lady and vice versa. The lady talks about her home and then Mel realizes that after college (maybe 10 years ago - when Jack has been still a marine), she started to work in the hospital where Jack’s mother was a patient (she can perfectly tell her problem - broke her leg). She remembers the chats with the lady...: She was offering her son called Jack, who was a Marine at that time. And told Mel she always wanted a girl for his son like her to keep him safe. Mel asks his mother what she would call this and she replied: fate. Mel smiles at Jack, who has been freezed from the begining of the story.
Can’t wait for S3. I hope Jack gonna be ok. I was so worried that Brady was gonna hurt Mel. Bet Charmaine gonna tell Mel that Jack kissed her and buying a house for them. O I can’t stand Charmaine.
