Always the second Tight End in the draft, it seems: Ed Dickson < *Dennis Pitta* Maxx Williams < *Nick Boyle* Hayden Hurst < *Mark Andrews* Charlie Kolar < *Isaiah Likely*
BRO this dude right here paired wit Mark we might have the best TE room since new England had Gronk and Hernandez..I'm jus say'n..LET'S GO FLOCK NATION..YES SIR..
This dude's curl routes and out-routes are absolutely lethal. He just finds the soft spot in the defense everytime and potentially takes it 20-30 yards after the catch. Really like what I'm seeing from this dude. Not even a Ravens fan but I'm rooting for this guy!
Might as well move him to reciever cause Andrew's taking the majority of snaps at TE and is actually a good blocker. This dude already has better routes than any receiver the ravens will throw out there.
Isiah likely has been playing football since he was 4. He’s a natural at the game and it shows. Him and Andrews are going to be a matchup nightmare for defenses. Will help the pressure on Bateman too.
Really is that mark Andrews style. Great receiver coming out and just has to get the blocking scheme down. I still like both the TEs we drafted. You put availability with skill these types of games is there for him.
It wouldn't make sense because of their system..you should watch @ThatFranchiseGuy channel where he does Deep Dives on the teams ..he just posted the Ravens one today ..He explains a good reason why it makes no sense for them to draft high prospect WRs
It doesn't make sense not to. Can depend on your te. This is why they lose in playoffs because teams already know their hot reads. If they have good wr receivers that opens you whole offense. They become one dimensional and once they get to the big games they lose and not put up alot of points. Idk why you fell for this philosophy. It's not great football IQ at all.
Man with Likely ballin' this hard already as a Rookie and with a top tier TE Mentor in Mark Andrews and that Raven TE coaching Staff he's gonna be a player to watch for years to come.
He is very shifty. He has an incredible ability to make the firat man miss everytime. Before he even secures the catch properly - he has already juked the first defender
I had him as the #2 ranked TE in this years draft only behind McBride depending on the team picking and going in the 3rd round at the latest if not a late 2nd rounder lol now the 🌎 is seeing what I already knew 🤦🏻♂️😝
Why ? You find mismatches and attack them . He don’t need the title of wide receiver to do what he do . Ravens play to win not live up to fan hype . We good . We’re a different beast not like the rest . Teams going to have problems trying to defend our offense. It’s like no other .
So what do yall think will be the next hing they say when LJ wins the superbowl? My bet is well, he won't do it again! I have a feeling we gonna go a LONG way with this TE group and running the ball this year. Can't wait for the season to start!
It is going to be an excellent season with JB7, MA89, and IL80. IL80 is NOT a TE. He's a new breed of a receiver. No one can complain that our offense does not have weapons. Throwing to any of these 3 receivers is a better than 80% chance of completion. It's going to be fun. Go Crazy, Ravens. Go Crazy.
Likely's spatial awareness and feel for where he needs to get in his route to get open is next level.. and he's got Mark Andrews arguably one of the four best tight ends in the game coaching them up too.. shiiii watch out NFL.. if Bateman is fully healthy and Duvernay is fully healthy watch out AFC. On a side note bc of how extremely good and consistently good the Ravens are at drafting and finding these special players in the mid to late draft will allow Baltimore to give Lamar the contract he wants and deserves and by the time all these great players they have on the offense and defensive side that are young or vets coming up in a few years on a new deal or another deal will allow Baltimore to get those other deals done because Lamar's contract will have been already taken care of and could also be manipulated to bring his cap hit down while also tacking on extra guaranteed money. Drafting so great like the Ravens do and the consistent professionalism, team before self and veteran leadership of lead by example and keeping the what it means to be a raven philosophy created by Ray Lewis and Ed Reed (which is tough physical football but also very high IQ football) passed on to every new rookie and free agent that comes in is why this Team is in the top perennial organizations like Pittsburgh, whoever Tom Brady plays for, Kansas City, San Francisco 49ers.
I agreed with everything you said except one thing. Mark is not top 4 tight end. He is number one. Check the stats for the past three years. Most receptions last year by any tight end and he blocks better than kelce and kittles. Top tier tight end speed and impeccable hands. And the icing on the cake............. he keeps his mouth shut and doesn't complain. The best tight end. Not even a discussion.
He's smart and knows how to find the windows. He's like Andrews in that regard. Along w more shiftiness. His straight line speed is still tightend speed though.
Oh he's a STEAL. go ahead and limit him for the rest of the preSeason.. Save him for the regular season🤙🏽🤙🏽.. Having two TE's in the game opens more running lanes and the play action game will be CRAZY! defenses will have to play more honest
He needs deeper routes I would hate to be a LB or Safety have to guard this guy on a go route or a 30 yard post route. He's fast and at 6'4 I bet he would out jump a lot of defenders.
Having him underneath while the offensive line is still finding its footing is better rn. Its like a safety blanket, when huntley was running for his life this guy stood out and was easy to target
@@im5trait4 yeah That makes sense. Only thing about Nick Boyle is he is the best blocking TE in the league hands down. Idk if the ravens will give him up. I honestly don’t think they thought Likely would be THAT good or else why draft Kolar at all. Ravens could also draw up a few 4 TE sets if they really want to get cheesy. They got options.
@@TMMQB I never said he wasn't. He got beat out because of injury and Andrews took full advantage of the situation. He could never get that chemistry back.
Greg roman was the 2017 and 2018 tight end coach before becoming offensive coordinator for baltimore.
