Love all of them.! Hearing. Mary. Wells, actually made me cry.
Even after all these years, Joan Rivers is the best interviewer on a talk show. She is just like us, she is a fan. And I’m glad that she kept pushing regarding the injustice and the greed of Motown Inc.
I'm in tears, poor Mary. RIP all.

This is what you would call "reality". Listening to Ms Ray, Ms Mary and Bobby is something special, they all have their own personal views as having been a part of that magical, once in a lifetime era. Despite all that, the two artists speak highly of the vision while Ms Ray remained overtly bitter as does Bobby. Marv sounds like a very proud and self made, unapologetic man. Great, great segment.
Great: very interesting interviews. Mary just so beautiful and always interesting to listen to.
Really glad that Ian Levine got a deserved mention near the end....but I did notice that Mary didn't join in with that part of the conversation despite (or maybe *because* of) her history with him, even though he wrote and produced "Don't Get Mad, Get Even" @ 8:10 and produced "Oooh Child" @ 8:32 .....in fact, she kept very quiet about him indeed! hmmmmmmmmm

I've read all their books, DIanes, Marys, Berrys, Marthas, and Raymona Singletons. They all made their fortunes, the only problem was some of them didnt know how to hold onto it, or blew it on drugs and alcohol. It wasnt Berrys job to be their father. As Berry once said, making people successful is a thankless task.

So sad. All but Mary Wilson from this show is still alive. I hope they all were able to live their lives happily before their passing as it seems Motown deprived them of their due fortunes while they were alive.

And Mary Wilson seems to be doing very well today.

The financial stories were a NIGHTMARE. Nevertheless, Motown gave Black America a "World of The BEST Entertainment Ever". Never, never, to forget.

Joan Rivers should have done her homework for this show- she referred to Gladys Horton " of the Marvels" instead of the " Marvelettes" after the break. Anyone can make a mistake but she was old enough to know The Marvelettes.
