Last week, I lost my dear friend from our high school days. SeokYoung, I will never forget you, my big, kind-hearted friend. RIP buddy. Until we meet again.
After listening to this beautiful song over and over and loving Gary's guitar, I'm really amazed at the keyboard work by Don. It sounds like they have a full orchestra behind them with the beautiful strings. Great work.
Gary was a rock and blues mucisian, and lets face it folks, they're the best mucisians along with some Jazz and the classical masters. Gary was simply incredible, dedicated, talened, with the mind of a musical genius. His legacy of music is imperishable.
Best version of this song. Airey's playing is fantastic, soinds so much better in free time without the drums. Though I thought it sounds different to the Rockin Every Night version. Gary was a legend, ironic that when this song is played live now it will most likely be dedicated to him. RIP
i've had this album for over 20 years and GARY MOORE clearly says ," Don Airey & I would like to dedicate this song to Randy Rhoads."..my copyright says 1986...the front cover has "Featuring Ian Paice, Neil Murray, John Slowman & Don Airey"....Ulijones...thanks for the info!!!!
I don’t really understand the whole Randy Rhodes thing In my opinion his Guitar sound sucked with Ozzy, and that’s the only reason why I knew him in the first place. Which leads me to my other Gripe Ozzy’s last album with Sabbath “Never Say Die” was both Ozzy & Sabbath’s Finest Moment. It was their Most Refine & Best album Ever!
Such an emotional piece and yet another example of just how expressive Gary’s playing was. It is tragic that he passed so young ❤
R.I.P Gary Moore
