When i bartended i always made friends with the bikers/cop regulars. They're good groups to know because when they know you're closing they always kept an eye out after me ❤️ and I always kept an eye out for them in the bar especially if a drunk lady didn't get the point of "no, not interested"😂😂I protected my regulars at all costs and they always returned the favor.
In 1992, Ft Worth Texas I bartended at a Steakhouse near TCU. We closed at 10:30 pm on weekdays. The manager and I were the only people left in the building and every door was locked up. The closing cook had just left out the back door around midnight and me and the mgr were headed out the back at about 12:45. Opened the door and had a snub nose .38 inches from my face. We had walked out that way for 2 years and got complacent. Dude had on a ski mask, said he knew the money was in the safe in the office- put the gun to my head told the mgr to go get it , he made sure we were right by one of the phones by the back door because if someone made a call the line for that number would light up. I prayed that phone wouldn’t light up. Just get the money and let it be. My mgr was smart enough to wait to make the 911. Might have saved my life. Dude kept saying he would shoot me if he (mgr) didn’t get his ass back quick. I was numb. Mgr came back fast AF with the cash in a bank bag. Dude took it and split. He got caught 2 weeks later after he shot and killed the closing mgr at a Bennigans in Dallas. It changed me. I never take ANYTHING for granted anymore. And yes, I carry. Maybe this will remind just ONE mgr or anyone else who closes a bar or restaurant to never get complacent with your exit of the building. Please be careful. Restaurant workers and Bartenders are the best people in the world. The predators are watching and waiting to pounce. Trust me…
I feel like your final statement was odd "...you don't want to be on the cops radar." You should have called the police, not to press charges, but to have them take a couple of laps around the parking lot and adjacent streets. Police presense should have scared the creep away.
no you should have called the cops... you could have saved someone else/ the next person from getting hurt, got a guy caught they may have already been looking for, started a list of crime this guy is committing... always call the police in situations like this. Ive been a bartender for a very long time.. Stalkers dont stop. You are very lucky.
This is why I always walk my female CO workers to their cars after dark. People get mad at me for leaving the line but I don't care, their safety is number one. After a few years of me doing it now it's company policy.
That is the beauty of it, you don't have to tell them you are a bartender, just inform them about what you see and that you aren't sure what they are.up.too.or even sober. Beside that, I would rather be on the police's radar that a person that could SA me or even unalive me. You have to weigh the options against each other. ❤❤
@@cearacullen5005 You clearly don't understand what I'm saying. IMO she would be better on the cops "radar" and call them to get them there to check the person out, she could just call from the mobile and tell that she is stuck in the bar coz some creep is outside and is checking her out and the other person she is there with. She is not obligated to tell them she is a bartender and if she doesn't she shouldn't get on any radar and is still protecting her life. Do you understand that???
Ladies: If youre ever scared to get to your car you can call the police non-emergency line and ask for an escort to your vehicle. Most cops are totoaly fine with walking you to your car if you're scared.
I had a guy trying desperately to get into the bar I work at after we closed. When he couldn't get in, he started walking around the exterior of the bar. Just doing laps and stopping only to bang on the windows and doors and screaming incoherently. I'm in AZ and I do carry. I called the police and requested an escort to my car. The police were happy to oblige.
That’s just chainsaw chuck, he parks under the bridge. His van is more of a dried blood burgundy. Shan’t to know what he was doing for those last ten minutes? Charming the pants off women isn’t his style, to each their own…
Yeah this is a stupid situation that could’ve been avoided if you didn’t broadcast your workplace to your social media, girl you continue to fail to understand how stupid that is. Please watch up on some common sense, basic survival, etc. This is insane.
This could have happened with or without you being on TikTok. It’s easy to point the finger at TikTok, but it’s actually easier to point the finger to someone who visited the bar not knowing about TikTok. You have to keep in mind the age demographic of TikTok. It doesn’t seem to match with the age of the person in the van. I’d suspect it was someone who visited your bar and was trying to pull something on either you or your coworker.
Your survaval instincts are non-existent. CALL THE POLICE. My god. BRUH. Dont wanna be on the cops radar? Why? Just do your job right and check IDs and idk what the issue would possibly be.
Will never watch any more of your videos ever again. How can two people be that naïve and stupid, not calling the cops. oh wait are you part of the defund the cops crowd? You may have saved someone else's life if the cops checked this guy out. It's mind-boggling what you did and mind-boggling even more that you're admitting not calling the cops. Goodbye.
Girl. That bartender coworker likely saved your life that night. No lie.
Damn! I'm glad that the big guy saw the creepy van first!

Thank you for the sharing. Yes, you should have called the cops.
But she didn't, probably because they don't check IDs very well there. Which is why neither of them called...

Oh goodness girl, that is hella scary!!!! Stay Safe ❤
It’s mildly alarming but for someone who doesn’t have a second amendment it’s frightening.

She clearly did and thought whatever she could get in trouble with the cops for was worse. Think about that.

I love your vibe, and it dosent matter what other people talk about you, they will never make think different from you, I like your vibe and soul
Glad you had that co worker there. Time for extra lights and cameras
I would've immediately called 911.
Edit: I didn't watch till the end. But after that long I would've eventually called em.
I e been a bartender well I was for a long time and that’s very scary stuff at night❤❤❤

Wow, that place is walking distance from where I grew up.
T try hat is definitely scary!! Please stay safe! ❤

I wonder how many other women have been hurt by that guy because no cops were called 😮
Hi Michelle, love your videos❤ also I’m sorry this happened to you.
Perhaps you could have left out the back when he was shining his lights in the front windows?
Ahhhh call the POLICE! I would have immediately not taking any bets with my Life.
But she didn't, probably because they don't check IDs very well there. Which is why neither of them called...
Umm... Call the cops, maybe? Have them check out the guy?
Imagine being more scared of the cops than of being kidnapped/murdered by a psycho ....... What u up to....?
Why didn't you have the other bartender drive your car?
That’s just chainsaw chuck, he parks under the bridge.

Yet her coworker is paranoid, but she's scared to call law enforcement...
😅💀

THANK YOU! This comment deserves more likes!!! It's so irresponsible!
Why are you so out of breath telling this story?
She’s thinking of me (I’m very heavy)
She’s been sick, she talks about it in video before this one
9.....1.....1
Yeah, unless you serve underage at that bar and must avoid cops at all cost.......
