Perfect timing I just got my first paradoxo just about a week ago!🎉 I just came across a 6-inch basket with five big cuttings for $17 at small local Greenhouse😁
They way you described the smell of those blooms is right upy alley!😮 Gotta have it.. it's also just beautiful. Kind of reminds me of the silhouette of some of those mobiles that hang over a baby's crib? Lol, that's the only thing I could think of in the moment 😅 but I love it😂❤
That is a perfect description! If you are in the US I saw some plants/cuttings for sale on eBay, I would suggest getting the plant over the cuttings it’s the source mine came from.
@@EpiphyticCacti thanks for the tip off!! I do prefer getting Rhipsalis that are already rooted as I'm definitely still a Rhipsalis novice and typically have some issues rooting them without rotting the stems🤦🏻♀️ I usually have to re-root a few times (which I've had to do with my baccifera and my paradoxa) I finally decided to grow them outside for the summer and they're loving life out there! Whew!😅❤️
Thank you for another super informative video! Would you say that even when grown under the same conditions, R. paradoxa ssp. septentrionalis will have looser/longer "chain links" than R. pacheco-leonis ssp. catenulata?
I'm so happy that you've started posting regularly again! Your videos are such a great resource.
Thank you! It’s always nice to hear they are enjoyed! 💚🌱
Thank you for what you're doing. Your channel is the best one about epiphytic cacti on YT.
Thank you, I really appreciate the comment 💚🌱!

Awesome! It’s such a wonderful species and a great statement piece!

In my experience yes, but I think it’s easy to distinguish them because R. paradoxa has determinate branch segments and R. pacheco-leonis doesn’t.
@@EpiphyticCacti Oh, right, I forgot about that! Thanks.
