Want to be even more impressed? Look for one of the videos where they sang this in concert. Gathered around a single microphone, and asking the audience to be very quiet. You could hear a pin drop... how often do you have a sold out arena/concert hall get that quiet so they could hear them sing. I think there was even one concert where the sound system failed, and they improvised, asking the audience for quiet and then sang it with no microphones at all! It went over so well, they decided to do the "single mic" (occasionally no mic!) performance of either this song or "Light in the Hallway" to a hushed audience at most of their concerts.

Isn’t it beautiful when Kevin brings in a fifth note to the harmonies! I find it amazing how their 5 voices can be heard individually and manage to become one voice. "Cracked" and "Water" are also in the set they did for the PopSpring 2016 show (along with "Can't Sleep Love" * another original * and "Evolution of Michael Jackson"). So that would be a chance to see them perform it live with excellent sound quality because it was a professionally shot video.
I watched a reactor do this one after losing his young son, and it was *so hard* to watch him try to keep it together during the last verse. I still get teary whenever I listen to this song, on his behalf.
That chord at the word "free!" Is so riveting. This then Amazing Grace are being played on the top of the TN mtn where my ashes will be spread. I'm 70 so it's not weird to have plans made.

I believe this was the first time they demonstrated their amazing use of five-part harmony. They’ve been doing it a lot recently (at least twice on the “At Home” EP), and it gets me in the gut every time.
This one of my favorites. When we saw them in concert they came out and gathered around one mic and just sang it. You could have heard a pin drop in that arena everyone was so carried away by it. Breathtaking.
This group just boggles my mind! Think about how young they were when they all originally came together to form Pentatonix, and how incredibly talented and gifted they all were at the same time! What are the odds that 5 young people who fit all those requirements would come together at the same point in time? And that they all love and respect each other at the same time? It's unbelievable! We are so blessed to have them!
That they all happened to come together and complement each other so beautifully always amazes me too! Scott and Kirsten were 19 when The SingOff started, and Mitch turned 19 during the competition. Avi and Kevin were just a few years older than that, something like 3 and 5 I think. What incredible talent!

musical training like military training allows you to have situational awareness lol i can hear each part only because of my training. a weird side effect with me is that i can have a conversation with someone in a sound rich enviroment and be totally aware of every sound voice except the one talking to me i find if its in my face i have a harder time focusing on it because i was trained to blend my sound with the ensemble and hear every part to fit mine into the tapestry

I was looking at the lyrics and all of the members were credited with writing the song as well as Benjamin Bram. Alright, I have to ask...is that a Michigan shirt?? The only 'M' I can think of that being would be the 'M's' that are quite often chasing the 'O's' down the field. :D lol To be honest I'm not a huge football fan, but when I seen your sweatshirt I had to ask and give you a hard time. There is a heartbreaking randition of this song from a concert last year. It was open air and outside the venue were haters and homophobic morrons chanting insults. They decided to continue, singing this song. You can see how bad ans sad Scott is (ko watches him all the time). You see all their emotions. It's beautiful and heartbreaking in once.
I love that video! It was those Westboro Baptist people, in Jacksonville, FL (my hometown!), and I have never been more mortified at human behavior. Kirstie was smiling at Mitch, he was singing so powerfully and emotionally! It makes me cry.

There is a heartbreaking randition of this song from a concert last year. It was open air and outside the venue were haters and homophobic morrons chanting insults. They decided to continue, singing this song. You can see how bad ans sad Scott is (ko watches him all the time). You see all their emotions. It's beautiful and heartbreaking in once.
I love that video! It was those Westboro Baptist people, in Jacksonville, FL (my hometown!), and I have never been more mortified at human behavior. Kirstie was smiling at Mitch, he was singing so powerfully and emotionally! It makes me cry.
I just don’t understand people, I am a Christian and it blows my mind that people can act that way, very sad!

Christmas isn't over! The twelve days of Christmas are Christmas Day to Jan. 5th, which is called Epiphany. This is believed by many Christians. Epiphany is the time the wise men reached Bethlehem.Takes a while to travel by camel.

Mr. RSR and I had a neighbor who hung a lighted Bethlehem star on their front porch through Epiphany. I loved seeing that and knowing the wise men were following the star to the King of Kings. 🌟👑
