Love to see you all, a lovely, happy and healthy family, in almost real time. Please pay attention to balanced nutrition, and full rest, with kids to take care. Wish all the best for you. No need to reply to me.
I think you are an incredible woman. To be so multilingual, a mother, an artist and vlogger. I honestly don't how you do it! I am happy to see you taking time to be in nature. Blessings to you and your family from Oregon USA 💖🌲
Thank you, Miriam, for bringing us so much beauty. The children playing, the scenery, the animals. The Little Ones will benefit so much from this adventure. My own dear Parents instilled in me a love of birdlife and plants from a very early age that I carry with me now and which is a constant enjoyment for me. Watching your travels brings great pleasure.
What an amazing place to be! The landscapes and different towns! Nice music too! It must be so nice for the kids to spend that time so close to nature while at the same time feeling so safe in it because they're with you two. They will probably remember those feelings for their entire lives.
TQ for bringing us to Qing hai lake . Is absolutely beautiful, a place which we wouldn't be able to go but are able to watch with you and your family. Love from Malaysia.
Thank you for taking us along on this very exciting journey. I'm in Uni right now so I don't get to travel nearly as much as I want to and I am vicariously living through this content. I also 100% agree with your kids attitude towards noodles🍜😂
Hi from France. It is absolutly magical. What a nice countryside, a big field for the children. You are very lucky and we are lucky too to discover this big country so different wherever you go.💯💯 Still love your car.
Okay, I love the cattle! 🐮 I love the beautiful nature you are showing us. Thank you for bringing us along! I am interested in seeing the different towns and cultures, as well.
Ah Miriam good to see you all ! I love to follow your travels through the gorgeous rural country but I am glad to see you warm in a hotel in interesting cities too. What a great adventure for your family. I wish you well and send love from California. 🙏💕🌷
What gorgeous scenery. And I love the white spotted yaks! And how interesting that there is such a large lake in China that is salty! It is interesting seeing the cities too, and all the food stalls and interesting foods. I saw those sesame balls and was salivating. I love the big ones filled with bean curd! One of the few things I miss about living in Toronto is access to things like that! Happy travels!
Love to check in with you Miriam. Hope you are all well and that your handsome husband won’t get bored in the city. My love to your sweet mother in law. And to all of you ! Your best video was about how you two met so long ago now ! How you ever learned fluent Chinese . It doesn’t sound like any other language. Stay safe. Good to see you. Blessings and much love 🙏❤️🙏
Miriam, I hope you and your family are doing ok since its been a month that you posted. Knowing that you were in the western part of China, and today an earthquake took place there, I hope you are safe & sound. Please post to let us know that you are all ok. 😍
Hej Miriam. Vi önskar er all lycka framöver.
I’m sorry for not updating! We have driven across China and are slowly making our way back, but along the south. I just don’t have the time to edit on the road, so I’ll share more when I’m back in Qinghai after Chinese new year! I should post a video explaining the situation! I know I stopped abruptly, I really thought I could keep it up, but it’s so tricky navigating travel and the kids and making money and then my videos too🙏
Correction - the lake the is the border of Tibet and Mongolia where these locals lived for thousand of years before China took over. Please state the facts or just don’t say at all. The lake is called tsononbu lake.
I don't know why when I watch your videos, I often feel I've been transported 2 millennium back to the days of Han Dynasty, and beyond. It's like a time machine, when the land saw the early encounter between the Han Chinese and the many nomadic civilizations of the Stepps, of northwest China, and Central Asia. It's always been a bit melancholy since so much history is taking from the Han (myself included) point of view, only because it's the Chinese who kept records. But when I see your videos, I realize it doesn't matter: all the people are still here (even the Xiongnu which many speculated they'd migrate west all the way to Rome and eventually present day Hungry). The traditions, the food, culture, languages, clothes, dance, way of life, as with anything and anywhere, will surely change then or now, but much also filter through time, especially in your videos. I could almost see the ancient kingdoms, the Parthian, the Sogdian, the Xiongnu, the Yuezhi, and on and on, from modern Mongolia to north India, from Kazakhstan to the edge of Black Sea where old Han travelers had reached 2000 years before. I get chills seeing the faces and towns of these ancient people. At the end of the day, as long as we have peace, nothing is impossible.

They are the lucky few

Miriam, great memories for Sansan and Liam on the trip. Yonghong looks very comfortable on the ranch with his Stetson hat.

Such gorgeous scenery! Can you organise a tour of Qinghai some day? Would love to visit the snow mountain area
Wow, it is so beautiful! Natural beauty untouched! Amazing!
❤ Check into solar power! You can get portable panels that you can plug into! You could plug in your phones exc. and a space heater. Stay Warm 🥶

heard about the earthquake in Qinghai, and hope your relatives and neighbors are fine.🙏
Hope that you and your family are safe from the earthquake 🙏🙏🙏❤
Noodle dreams 😄
That was beautiful. What was the colorful structure in the grassland?
I think they are prayer flags, local folks put them for blessings.
@@madsam0320 thank you, it's beautiful.
YEs, madsam0320 is right, they are Tibetan prayer flags.

China’s wild west, it is wild yet it’s calming
Very good description! Wild and calming ❤
Can you explain the spinning good columns and the multicolored streamer tent?
Miriam, your car inside should have outlet for charging battery.
👍👍👍

Mommy, daddy noodles 😄
Noodles and anything made from flour is basically sugar. So limit that.
What language did you use to communicate with your lake host? It definitely wasn't Putonghua.
haven't seen any updates for a while, hope this won't be another dead end...
