I've received a lot of comments about Ennard being the suit, and it's not something that occurred to me while making this video, but I do find it intriguing! At the same time though, I don't think I believe it. Since Ennard's mask looks just as high tech as the Funtimes, while the suit looks extremely old. Along with the fact that I don't know why Scott wouldn't reveal that information in the interview with Dawko I mentioned at the start of the video, since if the suit IS Ennard's old suit, that wouldn't really mean anything or be a big reveal with massive lore implications. I personally think an Ella springlock or Puppet springlock are more likely.
how would ennard be the suit if in every night except night 5 ennards head is in the main area(and the lolbit easter egg isnt canon)

dude. ella, in the movie, still has a moving jaw, so it wouldn't be a carved one. it's more like baby's original design, so maybe yendo was a character before, and this is his suit.
now I mean here me out I have 2 characters that might work the first one being the security puppet from the original fredbears location cuz its not to high tech its very skinny could barely fit a person inside and apparently from google circus baby pizza world opened in 86 3 years after bite of 83 so it could have been moved their and since its from fredbears it has a good chance of being a springlock suit so it could be that or it could maybe be a fixed molten Freddy mask because in the pictures of molten Freddy we always see the broken mask resembling Funtime Freddy but different and the differences definitely make it a different suit from Funtime Freddys like the orangey brown parts the yellow eyes the more stretched out look but if that the broken mask the scooped mask what could that look like well I actually think that the molten Freddy mask isn't some prototype Funtime Freddy mask no I think its yenndos mask like the yellow eyes of the mask the orangey brown accents it would make sense if it was a yenndo mask a its very weird that we see yenndo with no suit on and we don't see his suit anywhere so what if molten Freddy mask but fixed is actually yenndos mask from circus baby pizza world
It cant be Ennard's mask because his mouth lines go outside the mask, and the plates of the mask seem annealed like a float glass, most likely this was designed as a welding suit to survive, rusted because of oxygen maybe a designed suit made so someone could go in the vents and have the right amount of protection, maybe it was used with another Ennard mask like that but modified into a suit, what the very confusing part about it is the screws. It does not make any sense at all. But maybe another guard, or William, had made it, the lining leading to outside you can see is more flat and slightly rounded like a rounded flat surface like Ennard, which is something none of the other characters have except Ennard, so yes, please disprove me but this is probably a spare Ennard mask, maybe a beta version of it, but there's solid evidence.
Im gonna be real, this is one of the best and most legit theories I've heard about the SL Springlock suit. Let's be real, Scott made the springlock suit in the movie as Ella on purpose, and him not telling Dawko was because he wanted to reference it later. Amazing theory man, keep up the great work!

Something interesting to think about: If it is a Funtime animatronic, the way the springlocks would kill someone wouldn’t be the endoskeleton stabbing and crushing them, but rather the wires suffocating them.

in 8bit its fine to show them as beyond gruesome obviously, for the movie you dont want a rating that would cause many kids to not go see it but still want to make the older fans happy, and for this cutscene it just ends with a jumpscare
Ultimately, it is SUPER difficult to run with one candidate because none of them line up well. I've theorized previously on its purpose, but never on its identity--that's just too vague for me lol. So, I applaud you for trying! Very nice video :D

I think it just mirrors what happened in The Silver Eyes: it's a prototype springlock suit that was never actually used. They could all have moveable plates underneath the fabric like in Battington's animations.

I think the suit is just a prototype for the creation of the Funtime animatronics, as it’s the only spring lock suit that actually has faceplates, and spring lock suits came before endoskeletons. When circus baby says that is was from her old pizzeria, I think she meant it was just in storage somewhere.

83 cant possibly be the Springlock Failure mentioned in FNAF 3, the suit's in Animatronic mode, meaning the springs had ALREADY been released. While a car spring for example is practically a bomb that can take body parts under compression, when it's in a resting state it's little more than a harmless chunk of metal.
A Springlock needs to be cranked into suit mode, and only when a human can step inside the costume would it be a potential hazard, similar to the state of Sister Location's Springlock.
Most likely, the culprit wasnt the Springlocks, but actually Hydraulics/Pneumatics responsible for moving the upper head (and a lack of any sensors or safety measures in general)

And DEFINITELY yes, in FNAF 3.
To Quote FNAF 3 Night 2:
"To change the animatronics to suit mode, insert and turn firmly the hand crank provided by the manufacturer. Turning the crank will recoil and compress the animatronic parts around the sides of the suit, providing room to climb inside. Please make sure the spring locks are fastened tight to ensure the animatronic devices remain safe."
And Night 3:
"When using an animatronic as a suit, please ensure that the animatronic parts are tightly compressed and fastened by the spring locks located around the inside of the suit. It may take a few moments to position your head and torso between these parts in a manner where you can move and speak. Try not to nudge or press against any of the spring locks inside the suit. Do not touch the spring locks at any time. Do not breathe on the spring locks, as moisture may loosen them, and cause them to break loose."
So we know that they're spring-based (duh), and that you need an external crank, likely attached to an external socket nearby, to wind them back enough for the locks to engage. (likely because they're WAY too horrifyingly strong for their own good :V)
Said springs are directly attached to the Suit's Endo and holds those parts back to enable Suit Mode (alongside disabling the AI), and that the locking portion is prone to failure when exposed to moisture (possibly either the spring slipping out, or simply the lock corroding/getting weaker?).
I will admit, i dont think it ever explained how you PROPERLY disengage the locks, but i wouldnt be shocked if you did something with the crank ports to do so, if FazEnt didnt decide "just whack it a few times" was a viable option :V
Also not quite related to the Springlocks themselves, but still fun fact:
"Every location is built with one extra room that is not included in the digital map layout programmed in the animatronics or the security cameras. This room is hidden to customers, invisible to animatronics, and is always off-camera."
This is likely why William was trapped in that saferoom for *30* years. Spring Bonnie engaged inside the room, a room it shouldnt exist inside, with no valid pathing, a place it cant move around in or escape from on it's own.
It's also why the Child Lures mentioned in Night 2
("For ease of operation, the animatronics are set to turn and walk towards sounds they hear which is an easy and hands-free approach to making sure the animatronics stay where the children are for maximum entertainment/crowd-pleasing value.")

But anyways, tl;dr:
Springlocks are fairly self-explanatory when you look at the info provided in particular.
Safe in Animatronic Mode (as far as an Animatronic CAN be), dangerous in Suit Mode, and Spring Bonnie trolled Willy hard.
You forgot one other option. Baby could easily be lying.
When you die from the springlocks coming loose, you don't get springlocked to death. Instead, you get jumpscared by a Minireena.
Isn't that interesting? Scott could have easily made the screen go red with a loud bloody sound like with the Scooper, but no, you randomly get jumpscared by a Minireena.
I think Baby was just pretending (as she likes to do) and playing with us.
I personally have my own theory that instead of it being a character it is just a test springlock suit since the design the suit has is unlike any other plus they would probably make a more humanoid design first to test springlocks. Alot of fanf fans forget that there could of been spare suits or testing parts soo yeah.

There is one thing you got wrong.
Springlocks could not have been deemed too dangerous after the bite of 83 because the springlocks weren't to blame for the crying child's death.
The purpose of springlocks are to compress an endoskeleton so a human can fit inside. When the bite happened, the springlocks weren't in use because it was in animatronic mode, not suit mode.
While springlocks aren't compressing an endo, they are harmless.
Huh. I never thought too hard about the logistics of the bite, but you're right. Just before Cc is put into Fredbear's mouth, you can see from the shadows that Fredbear is already 'singing' and moving his jaw. It stops for a few seconds when Cc's head is in the way before clamping down, meaning that it wasn't an instant knockout/death. The kid could _feel_ his head being slowly crushed first, and the pressure is probably why he didn't slip out even with all that flailing.
That is... so much worse. And it swings back to that question GT posed back in the day, why the hell does a performance animatronic have that kind of jaw strength???
@@scribblpad It has that jaw strength because that's just how animatronics are in the FNAF universe. Just like how endo jaws in the FNAF universe make no mechanical sense by real-world standards.
I personally believe that it's a giant version of Ella. While there's not that much lore in the movie, there are a few aspects implied for the game

I was thinking of an old ennard design. He has faceplates, and he would be familiar to the SL animatronics.
that was my first thought. this springlock suit has more indistinctive human design rather than unique animal one. and we never saw original ennard design - only him wearing the mask from the wall

Cool video with some neat ideas. Here are some thoughts I had while watching:
3:00 Used for something unintended does not equal never used for intended purpose. Fredbear was used for its intended purpose as a wearable costume and performing animatronic, it was also just inadvertently used to kill someone.
6:15 The torso isn't the issue; her arms and legs can't hold those of a person while the endo is present _at all,_ especially the arms.
6:36 The Bite of 83 wasn't a springlock incident, as Fredbear was already in animatronic mode, so the springlocks couldn't snap.
Fredbear was never used to kill people(excluding the possibility of springlocking someone), and Ella's thin arms and legs could be just Blumhouse cutting budget of a PROP suit.

I believe Baby's exact quote is, "I don't think it was ever used, at least, not in the way it was meant to be used. Too dangerous." Which implies it WAS used for an alternative purpose and that it WASN'T used for its intended purpose.
Yeah those arms are very thin, but I wonder if this is one of those costumes where the arms are supposed to be left dangling and not actually worn.

@@VaguelyRowlet Even if CC would get the springlocks wet - it would do nothing to them, as of Fredbear ALREADY being in the stage mode - therefore there's simply no springlocks to snap. CC died because of Fredbear's jaw mechanism - we can clearly see that the bear was constantly opening/closing his mouth, and if you were to put a child's head in there, of course the head would be crushed.

Well, I think Ella being the Springlock Suit in SL makes a lot of sense, especially because another evidence that contributes to Ella is that the books are canon to the games, as Scott Cawthon himself stated recently. The only thing that I think it would make Ella less plausible is that she doesn't have any faceplates and her mouth is too small compared to the Springlock Suit in question. Bu anyways, this is a pretty well made theory (A GAAAME THEORY). Keep up the good work man!

If it *IS* Ella, it could be the Teen charliebot, as there are 4, The Ella robot that was child sized was also just the charliebot (but illusion disks to look like kid-charliebot) so it is possible that this Ella Springlock suit could be the same but instead being the teen charliebot, deemed "too dangerous" so nobody would actually use it.
something wierd is that there is no body in the suit (except for us obviously) and circus baby said that it was never used how it was intended to be used would mean someone died in there. so maybe someone did die in there but it wasnt secret like the MSI kids being left in the suits. or maybe she meant that it was supposed to be used to kill someone but it didnt.

and did you know that ennard was once its own animatronic before being fused with everybody ells? but he went out of order?
when you look at completed ennard you can see 1 eye representing 1 of the funtimes, if you look at the sewer carefully after Mike spits out the funtimes you can see 6 EYES all separated from 1 another
1 blue for Funtime Freddy,
1 yellow Funtime Foxy,
1 red for BonBon,
1 purple for Ballora
1 green for Baby
but then we see a second blue eye. 1 that is separated from funtime freddy. and if you look at the unmasked ennard model you can see ennard has 3 blue eyes. that's 1 eye too many. So i think afton took the original ennard animatronic, took it apart and repurposed it and left the suit as a mere springlock.
If you look closely you can see ennards mask is a lot more retro in style then the main 4 funtimes so i could see the springlock being the inside of Ennard.
And remember the discussion between the 2 websites? Who was talking to baby?
it wasn't funtime freddy or bon bon because we get funtime freddys line at the end of the conversation. We dont here SCREAMING LIKE THIS when the lines come from funtime foxy so its not them either...so that just leaves Ballora? It doesn't sit right with me...if Ballora had a role that was that important she should have been in charge of molten Freddy (Possibly making it scrap ballora) not Funtime Freddy
So what if it was the original ennard animatronic? we don't know much about ennards persona so it could feasibly have been Ennard.
Ennard's mask is in the main sl room, separated from any mechanism, so how does his mask magically teleport to his "original suit".

unrelated, but i think that SL was way after Fredbear's, because in FNaF 4, we see Micheal as a child, later in SL, we see Micheal as an Adult.

I don't think the suit is anyone we've seen before. I think it would make more sense for it to be an old prototype that was scrapped and replaced with the newer Funtime models after the all of the springlock suits were being retired. Baby commenting on it being "too dangerous" lines up with the reasonings for abandoning the springlock designs in the first place.
The suit is old, so it being a retired prototype makes sense. The features not being all that distinct make it a perfect candidate for a simple test-run. I just don't believe it's a character we already know; the suit doesn't tick enough boxes to match any previous animatronic.
Yeah not to mention the sides of the face look leathery and the face itself looks like it could line up with Ennards face.

Not sure if i'm reading this right, are you trying to say it came after 1985 or such, or that it was the original Springlock Prototype that was replaced by the other Springlocks, which later got replaced by the Classics and Funtimes?

You are on to something about the spring lock being Ella. But what if the suit is another iteration of baby, just like Ella? Look at circus baby’s design between sister location and pizzeria simulator, her faceplates are different, she is thinner, and has different hair. What if scrap baby was the spring lock suit, a scrapped design of baby that was turned into a spring lock suit when baby has caught a child. The faceplates match just without the nose, and they are both (mainly) white.
Ikr that's what I thought too. It probably makes the most sense as they look nothing alike
I’d say it’s a prototype / old version of a Funtime chica springlock suit, this would explain why it looks old / unfinished. Possibly missing a beak as well.

We're told in Room For One more that it's a giant springlock Minireena, who sometimes wears a clown-white mask with small razor-sharp teeth that like the mask's bottom and upper jaw, with this mask covering the faceplate seams.
It also has yellow human eyes like the the Minireenas, and TOYSNHK...
Unlike the other faceplate animatronics, this one only has faceplates on its face, instead of stretching to the whole head, like you mention at 1:09, meaning if it was covered by a mask of some kind, these faceplates would be completely obscured.

We're told in The Twisted Ones, that these smooth springlock animatronics are used to hunt down people, place them inside themselves, and set off the springlocks, killing them. This animatronic however, this suit wasn't used like this, how it was meant to be used, therefore, it was used in some other kind of way... something deemed to be "too dangerous", even by Baby's standards, where scooping someone out and using them as a flesh suit is perfectly fine in comparison. Maybe that's why.. some things are best left forgotten... for now...

That's HauntSpot's Night 4 springlock animatronic edit btw.
I see this springlock animatronic being Nightmarionne, with multiple features matching up, including their clown-white mask they have in Room For One more, which has Nightmarionne's iconic razor sharp teeth. It also has the same ability to remove their mask, which is also shown in their Mangle's Quest sprite, where it has a large chest compartment, leaving room for anyone to wear it, which also lines up with their FNaF World design.
I was kinda bummed that it didn't make an appearance in Help Wanted 2's FNaF Sister Location levels, but, perhaps it's being kept for DLC.
Overall, it was a great video that was put together pretty nicely.

So, my theory is that the suit is the one which scraptrap wears but undamaged
The puppet kinda represents a mime, which are in circuses. We also know that the minireenas may have some relation to the suit, and the minireenas look a lot like the puppet.
What if it’s ennard’s face? I mean, ennard may seem to use a funtime’s faceplate due to it being made of many funtimes, but no funtime we see really matches ennard’s face, even when mixing faceplates. Really the main issue with this theory is that ennard’s faceplates have the horizontal split merge with the mouth instead of being above it, and its vertical split continues past the horizontal one, which I guess could be enough to disprove it. Also wouldn’t explain who the animatronic is, just that its face was used by ennard.

This seems like a plausible theory, and is probably the most likely one i've ever heard, BUT there's 1 big problem.
Springlocks were not deprecated after CC's death, since it has nothing to do with the springlock failure(despite a popular misconseption).

I wouldn’t be surprised if that ended up being true, but this suit was definitely designed before the mimic was a story concept so it also must have an identity outside of that. The jester springlock the Mimic wore could very well have been Ella
Personal theory I got, while I really do dig yours? I think what it could be is this jester costume that was described from the fnaf tales from the pizzaplex books
Not to say that they’re both canon but I feel parts of it is bleeding into the games story
And the whole jester springlock suit seems to have been a huge theme here.
Not to mention just, the aesthetic with mimic relating to him wearing many vintage costumes

While we DO know it wears costumes, not one of them matches anything from the books, not to mention the ending throwing a wrench into BOTH the ideas that "Mimic is Burntrap" and "Tales are in the same Continuity 100%".
Mimic wasnt burned, nor did it keep Kelly's Corpse, and neither is it in a situation or using stuff from the books that it SHOULD have.
Arguably, Greggory's like about it being down there "for a really long time" KIND OF implies it may have been there prior to the events of the books, or even prior to FNAF 6...
Funtime Chica's face plate matches up almost *perfectly*.
Hopefully Scott will finally reveal the animatronic that the suit belongs to 😊

While rewatching a full sl playthough for my analyse, i just though it was ennard, but i was wrong and your vidéo just made me realize that the face shape of that Springlock isnt the same as ennard. For ella... It suit, but the shape isnt the same, ella's mouth is small and kind of square shaped instead of the misterious Springlock but it maybe like another version of ella. I love the theorie with the puppet coz for this case the both have the same face's shape, it realy look like a kind of funtime puppet but it still kinda weird.
when I saw the fnaf movie in my mind it really clicked that Ella was the sl mystery springlock so I'm right there with you man, completely agree.

I always thought it had identical face eye/mouth holes as Ballora. From the inside, without any features, it looks like a minireena.
Security puppet is an animatronic who has been around since Fredbear's Family diner if we take into account the minigame it is in as it directly replicates the event minigame from FNAF 2 where we see purple guy kill a young girl
its important to remember that the puppet shown in that minigame is the same puppet from fnaf2, that's trapped in lefty by the time of pizza sim, so security puppet, the buyable animatronic in pizza sim with two face plates and a jester hat, is likely not that old.

I always thought it was just a fredbear or spring bonnie suit, in fnaf 4 we see there are at least 2 of both of them, and they both qualify for being used in ways they werent meant to be. Golden freddy being used to kill cassidy, and spring bonnie being used for afton's murder sprees.
When I discussed the possibility of Golden Freddy, I went through these pros. But also remember that Baby says "I don't think it was ever used--", so that's kind of a con

I always just thought it was the animatronic that ennard was, the face is almost identical in shape and how it opens up
It was not who we thought it was, it was actually the MIMIC
I haven't really thought too much about this like you, but when I first finished the game I assumed this was the animatronic that the Ennard mask originated from. From Baby's lines it sounds like this animatronic was retired so I assumed William Afton took the mask from the retired animatronic and nailed it to his wall. I imagine the mask was attached to the piece of the animatronic because the Ennard mask separates the same way as the animatronic in night four. It would also be a bit of Irony by Baby to place Michael in the animatronic who would eventually be inside him.
This also fits with the theory that the original Ennard animatronic staged the first escape that Ennard talks about in night five. Maybe when Afton found the original Ennard amalgam, and tore it a spart before putting the pieces put in their respective suits did her tear out the original Ennard animatronic's insides and put them into the other animatronics. Thats why there barely enough room in the body, because it was never made to house people. It only has room now because Ennard was torn from it. Explains why in the teaser Ennard says "There's a little piece of me in everybody" instead of "There's a little piece of everybody in me."
@@Fallen122 I've received a lot of comments about Ennard being the suit, and it's not something that occurred to me while making this video, but I do find it intriguing! At the same time though, I don't think I believe it. Since Ennard's mask looks just as high tech as the Funtimes, while the suit looks extremely old. Along with the fact that I don't know why Scott wouldn't reveal that information in the interview with Dawko I mentioned at the start of the video, since if the suit IS Ennard's old suit, that wouldn't really mean anything or be a big reveal with massive lore implications. But the theory has merit and solid evidence so I won't discount it!
the opening lines on this suit do not match that of the ennard's mask. this mask has the horizontal lines directly under the eyes and above the nose, ennard's mask has the horizontal lines starting from the mouth corners so below the nose. also, this doesn't really disprove anything, but none of the other funtimes have multiple layers.
this could be a suit that the ennard mask is based on, but I do not think the ennard mask actually goes on this suit
Here’s my take on it: It’s a giant Minireena suit. The face matches. And it would match the “theme” of the night, Ballora staring into our souls as more and more Minireenas climb inside. Minireenas are very humanoid looking so a suit based on them would be perfect to wear.
I've heard this idea before and my main issue is that Ballora IS a giant Minireena suit. Just like how Baby is a giant Bidybab suit. But there are also issues like, why would a hypothetical giant Minireena suit be so much older looking than the Funtimes?
I'll be totally honest, feels like a bit of a reach to gesture towards the books and the movie, both non-canon sources, as a way to conjure a character that, let's be fair here, doesn't exist within any of the games.
Simple answer is that it's a character we haven't seen yet, and if we ever see them, they'll be a completely new addition. This is Retcon Endo (Mimic) all over again, random 3rd act addition that muddles the lore and causes interruptions and was "So Important!" even though they were never mentioned until the last second.
It *is* funtime chica.if you take off the beak.the jawline fits.the eyes also fit and also her theeth.The "dangerous" part is her theeth.And also her cupcake has sharp theeth.We know that the cupcake was made to give out actual cupcakes. So my guess is the cupcake malfunctioned and bit someone.Thats why funtime chica was never used.

i think yenndo was supposed to be some sort of endo skeleton for a funtime bonnie , yknow, one that isnt a plushie , the suit never was used for it s original purpouse because william could ve used it in the sister location to sneak past the animatronics or interact with them easier , im sure he would take some safety measures for himself so the animatronics that he created won t turn against him ,and , is william afton , he likes rabits to much to not make some model bigger than a simple hand puppet , and could ve used to lure kids also. even though yenndo looks like it is just a backup endo skeleton for funtime freddy (except the fact that he has 2 hands) , u don t really need to make the endo to have rabbit ears , some short thing on his head that could move the ears from above his head is enough , and besides , the endo of the bonnie never has rabbit ears , they are part of the costume not endo skeleton himself , and he is THICC because he might ve had the same function as the other funtimes , to capture kids. and the suit being old might be reffering that the suit is an old one , i think a backup springlock suit that he revamped and kept some of it s old functions to work so he would be used to it and they hold better . in summary yenndo was supposed to be the endo of a revamped backup springlock suit he had , he made it so it can be used by yenndo but scrapped the ideea cuz old habbits die hard and might ve used to lure kids himself using it and also used in sister location so the animatronics wouldnt attack him , even though the outside looks new the inside is old. It has flaws since no proof but is the closest thing we have that kinda makes sense.

Yeah I thought about it but afton had the circus theme so sun would make sense but not mimic so Henry made mimic but William made sun.

Because, to a degree, it DOES match Tiger Rock from the books, aka Mimic_01. It's a "virus" that infected the Pizzaplex when someone introduced it to the systems, taking the form of a White Tiger and killing quite a few people.
While Glitchtrap is a "Virus" with an unknown source that took on the appearance of something similar to William, and goes on to infect the Pizzaplex.
Both of which even getting into people's minds too.
Plus, when you do consider this route, it WOULD also explain Helpi, if we hadnt actually finished Princess Quest V...
And why he never seems to speak even once, only gesturing and wearing a fabric costume of Spring Bonnie, rather than the Springlock suit.

ok so for funtime chica weve seen her in help wanted 2 now so we know she was in sister location my theory is she was being rented / repaired or something during the events of sister location when mike went there so we couldnt see her there and eventually they escaped without her and she was just kind of left there probably put in a storage facility where later on thats why shes on the market in pizza sim and the others arent

Ive never read the books, and only have a loose knowledge of some of the plots of them. I'd never even HEARD of Ella before. So when I saw the FNAF movie, I was losing my mind over this weird "new" animatronic - was it Baby? A weird Puppet? I literally remember thinking if the suit in the movie was the "reveal" of the mystery Sister Location springlock.
So when I finally learned about Ella from the book, I just kind of assumed the same thing. So hearing that theory relayed here by someone whose actually kept up more with it is really cool
