She's signed to Tiger JK's lables both him and his wife discovered her which is why he sometimes appears in her videos
I absolutely luv BiBi and her storytelling so last year I was heartbroken when she opened up and said that lots of her music , lyrics and visuals were inspired by he horrible ex boyfriend and that she expresses her relationship through her music cause back then she was too afraid of him to say anything to the police
she's my favorite Korean artist, period. I'm so glad you're reacting to her and so excited for her new song
Bibi's offstage personality is pretty much exactly what you'd expect. She's unfiltered, hilarious and an all-out brand risk to the point where she pretty much has a free pass to say whatever she wants because that's her whole charm and the public eats it up. Tiger JK pretty much had to chaperone her to a lot of her early media appearances just to make sure she wouldn't say anything too out of pocket.
That said, she also has a mature, sweet and thoughtful side that comes out whenever she's speaking on anything serious. All in all she's got a very strong, outspoken personality.
She also went from barely speaking english to speaking pretty much fluently in a couple years after her debut which has been pretty cool to watch. I imagine Tiger and Tasha made sure she spoke english with them behind the scenes because its no joke how fast she learned.
About Vengeance... it is not just a concept, or just a story. Quoted from KBIZoom:
“I wrote the lyrics of this song diligently when I was going through a horrible experience. At the time, my thoughts were on the line of ‘I will forgive you for wronging me once, but never twice. If you repeat your mistake, you will face BIBI Vengeance’. I wrote the song with the intention of never letting things slide again”.
The singer also added, “I hope that even those who do not engage in artistic activities can listen to this song when they are having a hard time and deal with their problem flexibly.”
Then, when asked what kind of incident her “horrible experience” that inspired the song was, BIBI calmly answered, “It was a relationship problem. If I report it, someone would be sent to prison.”
About her off-stage persona (at least what she lets into the public view), she is cute, and very funny, and fresh, and not very interested in being very idol-like, talking about things idols are made sure to stay clear off using language idols should not employ. For example, she did some episodes of Workman that are hilarious. E.g. "Introducing The New Workwoman Who Can't Stop Cursing At Sports Monster | Workman ep.73" just to give one.
Some great off-stage interaction from BIBI is her session on YoungJi's drinking show. Just 2 rappers talking about the industry and the tough times. It's a GREAT episode.

BIBI is really own her music, when you hear it it just.. BIBI. she's so versatile, the true artist i believe.
Every song, every album, and every mv are all always awesome. The message she deliver, and they way she deliver it is literally jaw dropping lmao. She's really good at talking about the reality of life either bad or good side of it, and when she's talk about LOVE its always make me wonder, how BIBI know all of those emotion. What she's been going through until she can make a song like that.
yeah, i guess i really love BIBI lol, and i hope she get the hype and love she always deserve as a person and artist herself.

Please do a marathon on DPR Ian. He's a great Korean-Australian artist. I don't know if you're familiar with him. At least I couldn't find any videos of his on your channel. He used to be in a Kpop group (C-Clown) back then (2012-2015) but after co-founded the company DPR with his friends and is now an independent artist. He used to be the chief visual director/editor of the company, shooting MVs for other artists like the ones in DPR plus Mino, Bobby, Taeyang, Loco etc, before he debuted as a soloist. He writes, produces/composes, directs and edits his own stuff and somehow makes it really high quality. He has such an unique style and sound.
I recommend Don't Go Insane, Peanut Butter & Tears, Mito movie, Skins demo (this one is even more special if you know the story behind it), So I danced, Limbo... Honestly if you could react to most of his music videos it would be great. All of them stand out. He's also very vocal about mental health and most of his concepts/lyrics are about his daily struggles with bipolar disorder and DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). He has a whole "lore" behind his artistry/videos based on his life. They're also great pieces on their own though. Him and BIBI are my favourite artists, they're unapologetically themselves. You'll probably like his work!
I didn't know he was in C-Clown!!! that's awesome. I've always been wanting to check out DPR's artists, kind of the same situation as BIBI where my channel's niche is moreso dance-related content, but I'm looking to branch out and check out artists like him. Stay tuned :)
@@SeatinReacts It's just funny how he was in C-Clown and did a full 180 on his image Lol I used to love their songs Shaking Heart and Far Away back then. He said on his Zach Sang interview that the experience was literally hell not only because of the abuse but because it deprived him so much creatively that once he was out he just wanted to release everything based on his own vision and that's why in the end he doesn't regret it. Highly recommend this interview, even if it's just to watch on your own, if you ever get into him. Also he used to dance dance back then. Funny enough his start was posting b boying videos on youtube and that's where he met who is now DPR Live/Dabin. That's the start of DPR. Now he does some choreo too if it fits the concept. Iˋll stay tuned!
