    I feel like the first one would be a fun project for a more advanced artist. It only seems daunting because the crease pattern leaves some vagueness so you can size the number of repeating patterns to your paper size

    • @GOffUnit
      @GOffUnit 2 роки тому

      I'm no expert, but I know enough to know that there are some basic origami principles that help break down the design process into smaller and simpler parts (geometric principles, circle packing, etc.). For simpler models, experienced folders can kind of figure it out as they go along by trial and error, but for more advanced models some advanced mathematics may be required, which is where computers can come in handy for the design process.

    Hey so Kevin hi how do you make the stop motion animation soo... clean. I mean like how do you make them look like they are actually moving and not like pics?

    • @ArtOfFold
      @ArtOfFold  3 роки тому +1

      I use 24 frames per second, so I take a lot of pictures and it just moves a tiny bit each time. It's very time consuming, but it ends up looking smoother

    • @gopsahoo805
      @gopsahoo805 3 роки тому +1

      @@ArtOfFold so basically you smack the frames per second to 24 and just move each thing by like one centimeter? Gosh that's time consuming but worth a shot cuz on my next BIRTHDAY (7months later and 23 days) My mom will buy stop morion studio pro so I wanted to try it out oh well wish me luck!(you don't have to)

    • @ArtOfFold
      @ArtOfFold  3 роки тому +1

      @@gopsahoo805 The frames per second is when you're combining it into a video, each second of video is 24 photos. It depends on what I'm shooting, but I probably move things by less than a cm between shots most of the time. It's definitely not for everyone, but I enjoy it. I would do more of it, but it's hard to make the time for it. Good luck!
