Awesome! Im planning on doing something similar this year hopefully. Maybe using a raspberry pi or similar. May look into making it fully solar powered which of course would add complexity and costs. The other concern is where i put it. Depending on the angle of the lense i get, if i mount it on a pole near the edge of the roof, the roof may not be in the way. But if i put it on the peak of the roof, it would provide the best view, but how to prevent it from falling off? Unfortunately i have a bunch of trees so i mostly have a straight up view, but it would still be cool I think.
