If you haven't done Nachi Cocum do try it. Much more laid back of course but we love that, I always go there on every Cozumel stop! Cheers and thanks for the video, watching it fully now to see if Paradise is my thing. Cheers!
Thank you so much, Morgan! I wish I could travel more to put out videos more frequently. But more frequent content from me will be coming this summer! 😉
Well apparently there were three flukes. The water is usually clear, beautiful green blue. May have had some weather earlier that stirred things up. I could see it on the beach itself, and as always they were promptly cleaning it up. The staff there is amazing, taking such pride in their work and the resort itself. 👏 The pool has always been wonderful. I usually spend the last half of my day there. First half in that Coconut Grove. It's listed as the largest outdoor heated pool in Cozumel. Ya gotta stick more than your toes in there to get acclimated to it though. 😉 Internet is hit or miss anywhere. I've never had a problem but then I rarely use it. It could be out and I wouldn't know it. Maybe the pool heater and wifi were on the same circuit breaker, lol. Glad you went. It really is beautiful there. And THAT FOOD!! All of it is fresh and delicious! The service has always been to notch. And yes, watching the drunks on the inflated beach toys is hysterical! I've been to Paradise 8 out of 11 visits to Cozumel. I'll never go anywhere else. I've even booked cruises to Cozumel SPECIFICALLY to spend a day at this resort. If they had a hotel I'd fly in and stay there.
It was a great place to spend the day. And I’m sure I’ll be back on future visits to Cozumel! The staff was definitely the best, they didn’t stop working on the beach the entire day. Great place - thanks for the recommendation and for watching. 👍🏻
I wonder if the water looks that murky other times of the year. I live on the Gulf Coast where the beaches are white and the water is beautiful. We are going on a cruise to Cozumel and I was hoping the water was clear.
We haven’t been to this resort or Mr Sanchos, but I was really surprised how empty this resort was. Looks like a fun relaxing day with a lot of places to get some cool photo ops. Thanks for sharing Zach!
@@ZachtheTravelingMan Normally if it is a port that we have been to (such as Cozumel) we don’t necessarily get off the ship unless we liked something at that port. Cozumel and Costa Maya are two we don’t get off the ship because none of the excursions ever excite us. But now….

Thanks, Diane! I booked directly through their website. As far as I know, the ship doesn’t offer an excursion here. Just google them and you should find the link to secure your spot.
Thanks for the review, switching from sanchos to paradise based on your review. Any recommendations for excursions in Montego bay? 2adults and an 11 year old boy. Thanks again
I've done a few surface intervals at Paradise Beach and meant to come back sometime for amenities. Not sure if it's worth the price for a non-drinker, but the staff has always been friendly to us divers.
Thanks for sharing your videos. I'm going on a cruise Allure of the Seas in May. And, one of my stop is at Cozumel. Do you recommend that I should go check out the Paradise Beach?
Do you have a suggestion for a beach at costa maya. We have been to krazy Lobster and loved it but wanted to try something different . In Cozumel We have been to Mr Sanchez but never here . Thanks for the video will like and follow.
Take a short taxi south from the port area to Mahahual. There are hotels here that will let you use their chairs and WiFi and restrooms so long as you order food and drink from them. A nice beach away from the ship crowds of the port but with the port still in sight.
So which do you prefer, Mr. Sanchos or Paradise? I’m traveling with two teenagers, 18 and 15. I did Mr. Sanchos this past January for the first time and it was nice. I wasn’t like, omg I have to go back though.
That’s how I felt about it too. I liked Paradise a bit better - I enjoyed the environment there, especially the beautiful landscaping, a lot more than at Sanchos. Plus the huge pool they have there is very nice! The only thing I missed from Sanchos was the coconut shrimp they have. Other than that, Paradise it is!
Hi, I always do my best to answer as many questions as I can. I receive hundreds a week so might miss a few. I was there in January 2022. You cannot book this through the cruise line. Thanks.
I have read up on this beach and considering the day here when we stop in Cozumel. We tried Chankanaab and did not really care for it, we actually turned down the lunch as it didn’t look safe to eat and really wasn’t much to choose from. But you said the pool was cold, however Paradise Beach advertises this as a heated pool so I’m a little confused.
I know this was a while ago, I did Mr. Sanchos in Oct. when I did a Virgin cruise. it was pretty good, I enjoyed it but this one does look better, I have to book another trip to check it out. lol

I was under the impression that these all inclusive beach venues are jam packed by noon and you mentioned that it was 1:15 and I could see many many vacant loungers. Was at Sancho's this weekend and they have SO MANY tables and chairs packed in there now you can barely walk through them.... also they have only 2 rows of lounge chairs and the chair edges are in the water.... so no beach to take a walk on that's for sure.... going to Paradise from no on because everything is SO nice and not ever crowded!

Hi Alisha, from what I heard from several folks who have been there, that’s not usually the case. There could have been some currents the morning or evening before I visited that brought this in, but it’s not normal apparently. Thanks for watching!

I’d choose Paradise over Sanchos. Both are great, but something about that huge pool (much larger than Sanchos) and ambiance at Paradise that will really get you right into relaxing. A larger food selection at Paradise as well. Check it out!
