This is what You can expect if You are using a car with very firm suspension .
Just a quick trip up the road to our town to give people an idea of what it looks like in a typical South African town.
The town of Brakpan is found east of Johannesburg in South Africa
How sad it is, to be unwanted by a majority when you obviously have such LOVE for your country and kinsman. I wish for you that your town can break off from the rest of Africa's turmoil and just live in harmony. God bless and protect you. 🙏

Brakpan is a gold and uranium mining town in the Gauteng province of South Africa. The name Brakpan was first used by the British in the 1880s because of a non-perennial lake that would annually dry to become a "brackish pan".

I was born in 1951. I grew up watching and loving the Tarzan series. When I was about 10or 11 I discovered there were cities in Africa and I was soooo disappointed! I thought it was all wild beautiful jungle!

Samsung galaxy S9 plus , got it and made this video in 60 frames per second , but had to drop the quality to get the video uploaded today due to the internet uploading speed .I almost did not have a video for today , ha-ha

Clay Davis nope, I moved from Los Angeles, to a country where they drive on the wrong side, after 10 years of almost getting ran over i finally can drive on the left side of the street, I still get confused sometimes though, and will suddenly scream and swerve the car, ( lol, jk )

Usually in The States, people will want a nice big home along the coast. Did you ever live near the ocean or want to live near the ocean? I've also never seen someone on UA-cam be so open about where they live. Usually they're afraid to give out that information. So, thank you for being so open and honest.

To just take land is not that easy , it is basically declaring war , I think they talk to quick ! and who will pay the banks back for the loans ,money is not easy to get here in south Africa .

It would have been nice if you mentioned the street names you were driving on. I knew you were driving down Voortrekker Road. I only realized when you said that you ere approaching the station that you were driving the other way.
The other main road that you mentioned, must have been Prince George avenue. At least that was what it was called fifty years ago.
I have only been back to ||Brakpan once since we moved 50 years ago.
The main road still looks in a very good condition. I live in Roodepoort now and the CBD here is a no go zone. It if filthy and dilapidated and over crowded with street vendors lining every nook and cranny and people walking everywhere in the middle of the street.

McDonald's everywhere, you go to China, you see it, travel across the seas on the long journey to Australia, and see them all over, where them call them "Mackers" but same gruesome food. Have seen them in Brazil as well, but haven't traveled South Africa as much as other countries.
