      You may want to consider working on these exercises for less time or filming yourself while doing them to check your technique.

    I get back sprains like every two weeks. I hurt then the pain is there for two weeks, when is finally gone there goes again, just by picking up a piece of paper of the floor

      Look into doing some stretches to become more flexible. Ensure you're drinking enough water daily and getting electrolytes. I also recommend foam rolling. If none of that works, go see a chiropractor

    I went into the chiro with minor back pain. Came out with 6 weeks of agonizing back pain. Never again, next time will go to someone with a medical degree.

      Sorry you had that experience. There is a range of skill, experience, and knowledge in all professions. If one chiro didn't work out for you, it doesn't mean they are all bad. One chiro doesn't represent the experience you'd get at any other office - same applies to dentists, lawyers, and medical doctors too - just something to think about.

      A lot of doctors like myself work with people to make chiropractic care affordable. Our rates are the lowest of any chiropractor in our area, despite the fact I spend more time with patients than most do. We take all insurance as well to take the financial burden off our patients. In the event a patient can't afford their copayment or the out of pocket cost to come see us, we have a financial hardship form people can use to get a rate they can afford. Healthcare shouldn't create debt, it should reduce it.

    I'm in the same position. Was working with an old two-wheeled wheelbarrow and one of the tired unexpectedly blew out and the sudden dip pulled some muscles in my lower back. My biggest difficulty was sleeping last night. I primarily sleep on my stomach and side, but I couldn't find a comfortable position. Any tips?

    • @PainReliefChiropractic
      @PainReliefChiropractic  6 років тому +2

      Sure. Don't sleep on your stomach. It's impossible to maintain a neutral spine in that position. Here's a video on sleeping posture: ua-cam.com/video/h-gqvPJ4oxU/v-deo.html
      Use ice on any area of soreness for 20 minutes. Remove the ice for 40 minutes and repeat as necessary. If it doesn't go away, seek care at a provider's office.

      @@PainReliefChiropractic what about hot water instead of ice?

    • @PainReliefChiropractic
      @PainReliefChiropractic  6 років тому +2

      Hot water is good for chronic tight areas, but not for acute injuries. Heat will typically make an acute injury worse. Acute meaning an injury that occurred recently. Chronic issues are typically defined as something that has been going on for more than 3 months.

    What if there is numbness in the legs

    • @PainReliefChiropractic
      @PainReliefChiropractic  5 років тому +3

      It depends where the numbness in the legs is and how intense it is. There are different pathways for different nerves and there are different pathways that stem from nerve roots. If that answers your question, great, if not please be more specific so I can provide the answer you're looking for
