One has to wonder why the generals have so many medals considering that the current Cambodian army has not fought in any war since its establishment in the 1980's.
@@jumboan2587 Who did they fight against? In December 1978 the Vietnamese army invaded Cambodia and completely wiped out the Khmer Rouge in just 2 weeks.
@@jumboan2587 But they ceased to be an effective fighting force. Vietnam occupied Cambodia for years and only withdrew after they installed a government to their liking in Cambodia. Anyway, are you suggesting that the generals with rows of medals are Khmer Rouge?
