    Tillykke med din gym.
    The Precor bench is actually the Icarian Superbench. Precor bought Icarian. I remember when it came out in the mid 80s. Best bench I’ve ever used to this day.

      Tak 👊 Yea that is one solid bench. Very heavy duty but not overly bulky. It’s like 15 years old but operates as if it was new 💪💪💪

    Nice gym. 👍🏻 I have one of those leg curl/leg extension machines and I think they are great. Pro bodybuilder Lee priest has something like that too and he has huge hamstrings and he loves it.

      Thanks a lot. Yea it is nice to have that leg curl/ext machine, but mine is very unstable and wobble quite a bit when doing hammies!

    Love your gym videos. Seems like you gravitate to the Rogue storage rack and the multi-purpose mat even more than the main rack. Makes me want to get one of those mats lol. I have the Troy rubber coated dumbbells like you and just got in the “micro gainz” weights that add onto the handle. Not my best decision. The flange or bevel (?) makes it to where they slide down onto the shaft which leaves a gap between the inside of the dumbbell and the micro gainz attachment. My hand ends up touching both of them on the dumbbell. They probably are more ideal for the rep fitness straight shaft knurled dumbbell for going up 2 or 2.5 pounds.

      Thanks a lot 🙏👊 you are correct… I cannot utilize my rack as much as I want still because of my second shoulder surgery…recovery has been a mess. But yea, the other areas are being used quite a bit 👍 good to know about the micro gainz plates…will stay away from them 👍

    Hey man, loving your vids. I’m in the process of upgrading my garage gym and curious if your opinion. I see you have the monster storage unit (love the rec on adding 4th shelf)…..do you have a preference on Monster vs Mass storage systems? I’m leaning towards the Monster because it seems like I can use it almost as a rack for some exercises (ie matador dips, landmine, Bulgarian split squat attachment, etc) … even though it is more $$$ it seems more stable with more use cases. Also I’m leaning towards the 43x70tall and adding 4 shelf. Thoughts? ?

      @DanesinTexas  9 місяців тому +1

      Hey man, thanks for the comment. Definitely go with the monster if you have room and money. It’s big but badass. The mass storage is heavy duty as well and slimmer…but you have less options. So for future developments in your home gym you should go with the monster; again you have room and $$ 👍 my monster mass is in like 3-4 of my videos and you should get a nice run down from installation to shipping and installation plus usage 👍 thanks again.

    Impressive and very well explained tour. Just right for you and your family. Couple of questions. I noticed that you have some mirrors on the wall. Can you tell me where you got them from and how you have them mounted? Also do you have just one light bulb or multiples in your garage, it seems really bright compared to mine. I am also looking on alibaba for my smith machine, getting ready to purchase soon, was wondering if you could provide me the link the machine you purchased? Lastly, on your smith machine on the rower part, does that piece adjust up and down? The smith machine im looking at has them all way on bottom touching the floor and then it folds down when not in use however i think i like you option better since im not sure how i will feel doing rowing exercises on the floor instead of bench. Any input is much appreciated. Great video.

    • @DanesinTexas
      @DanesinTexas  Рік тому

      Thanks 🙏 I got the mirrors at Home Depot, just picked them up at my local store. I have two bulbs in my garage, that shines in four different direction, however when I filmed this I had a garage door open to add more light or else it will be a little too dark for good video. I am hoping to add two more bulbs soon. Yes, the piece at bottom of smith adjust up and down. I don’t have the link here anymore, but it is in the description of the other video that goes over everything I did when ordering this rack.

    That's a really cool home gym! I'm a half Dane here in Washington state (west coast). My Far moved here from Danmark as a teenager. I'm thinking you must have air conditioning going into the garage if in Texas!

      Hey man. Great to hear from a fellow Dane👍🇩🇰🇺🇸I do wish I had AC, and that will be on the to-do-list in the near future. I have fans going on in the summer, and have dehumidifier running as well. But yea it gets pretty toasty here 😵‍💫😵‍💫

    Nice home gym man!! Question, what ratio are the pulleys my friend. Is it 1:1 or 2:1 ratio? Also, is 200lbs on each stack enough for you guys?
    Thanks man

    • @DanesinTexas
      @DanesinTexas  Рік тому +1

      Top is 1:1 and bottom 2:1. We don’t lift heavy and I’ve had surgery on both my shoulders so 200 is plenty. Adding a bigger stack is cheap so you can choose whatever you prefer👍

      It was a big gamble, but the rack I wanted I couldn’t find anywhere else but on Alibaba, so I gambled. I love the rack, it is gigantic and heavy duty, exactly what I wanted. My total rack with weights and attachments was $4300.
