    I had UK Carbon Cleaning (UKCC) come out to do a stage 3 clean on my Stage 1, 2008 Audi TT with 70K miles on the clock and no record of the service being done prior. The car felt amazing after the service. Smooth acceleration, punchier whilst offering a much more refined power delivery. Highly recommended.

    Usually when you test an engine for how nice and smooth is running you should do with half load not full throttle. Full throttle can show you much on the Dino but not when you are driving . Most common mistakes when people buying used cars, drive slowly to find out how the engine performance is, good or bad.

    Some new engines use both direct injection and port injection. The ECM or PCM switches between both to take care of the valve carbonization. That is what the manufacturer says. I am surprised that HHO did not clean the valves better. Look forward to hear from you about what works better on cleaning the valves. One last thing to say, many shops I know use crushed walnut shells to blast the carbon from the valves and seats. Good day and stay safe too. VF

    I had this done on my Mercedes C220 CDI year 2011 with 118k on the clock yesterday 09/10/2020 by Gary of Engine Carbon Clean and was worth every penny of the £125 it cost in total to clear an issue of lag from a cold start and a DPF regeneration clean which now is at just 13%. The main reason I had this done was that I was having an issue from a cold start with a lag on acceleration before the turbo would kick in which should not be the case and started just out of the blue. After trying everything prior to having this process done to try sorting this issue out the Carbon Clean process did the job and cleared this issue and the car now runs better than it ever did so the system does work and I'd use again in the future and I highly recommend this service to anyone with a Diesel car. Many thanks again to Gary for sorting my car he's a top man who carried this out and also a complete diagnostics of the car before and after the process and also explained everything to me so well and gave good advice and answered all my questions. So for those who say this process doesn't work they are very wrong, it does work and worth the money too.

    Hydrocleans do not clean intake vales, its impossible. They clean everything from the combustion chamber through to the exhaust.
    They work by creating a mix of hydrogen and oxygen which are injected into the engine during combustion and they create much hotter combustion and gases which burn away carbon and clogged dpf's and cats.
    They most definitely do work, but only for the right applications, eg, blocked dpf, cat, gummed up turbo vanes, gummed up o² sensors, exhaust vales and manifolds etc.

    VERY interesting! NOW what you need to do is remove the head and ONLY CLEAN THE CARBON! Do NOT grind the valves or make ANY other changes and record the difference.
    The reason I'm asking IS, ECONOMY. In other words, does cleaning the valves result in increased fuel economy, and if so how much? Would the increase in fuel mileage make up for even PART of the cost of manually removing the carbon over time?
    Inquiring minds want to know!

  • @JubbyCustard
    @JubbyCustard 3 роки тому

    Surely adding oxygen into the mix will just change the air fuel ratio measured by the O2 sensor? Ecu will add more fuel, lowering the deflageration temperature at specific load capacity.
    Secondly, adding hydrogen, increases predetonation, engine knock sensor will reduce fuel into air charge and retard timing, so all the hot gases are leaving the piston cylinder early, again, reducing deflaguration potential.
    I cannot see how any of this works.
    The best result I had was running propane directly into air box and a methanol injector running water mist into the inlet plenum. This internally steam cleaned the inlet manifold during use, at high charge consumption. Propane reduced fuel air ratio , engine ran rich and ecu did not compensate. Result, hotter more complete burn, more energy per deflaguration cycle and entropy from the water mist. Best engine clean I ever had.

      @@sidescrollin H2O is the chemical formula for a water molecule, where a single oxygen atom is bonded with two hydrogen atoms. HHO is a popular way of writing OxyHydrogen - a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen gases, usually in a 2:1 ratio. Thus, HHO = Hydrogen-Hydrogen-Oxygen. Since the oxygen and hydrogen are in mixed gas mode and not bonded, it is not H2O (water). Bonding hydrogen and oxygen requires an ignition and chemical reaction. When the Oxyhydrogen gas is lighted, oxygen and hydrogen atoms bonds and releases energy, the end result of the chemical reaction is water vapor."

    • @ConquerDriving
      @ConquerDriving  5 років тому

      I'll put some thought into that. If it worked I would have thought a manufacturer would have implemented it by now as I believe they have experimented with it. But in theory it should work and improve efficiency. I believe they only need about 75 Watts of power to work which isn't bad.

      It's hard to see exactly what atmos clear is actually offering. But if it's a HHO generator run off a cars alternator this type of device will not improve efficiency. I can't comment on how it would affect emissions but it can't improve efficiency as it would violate the first rule of thermodynamics. Also common sense tells me if it worked every engine manufacturer would be using it. The term I think people use is snake oil. However having searched their website I can not see what their device actually does which leads me not to trust them.

Anything over 100k wants at least 1hour to burn the carbon off more efficiently also using and intake and egr cleaner like i would suggest would clear the intake more efficiently and remove the oily deposits. Cars with direct injection will benifit more with the intake cleaner.

    Cleaning with hydrogen and oxygen? This creates an enormous explosion risk, it is already dangerous with hydrogen alone, which is the most explosive gas that exists.
    The carbon on the intake valves should burn on the stem side? Fire should never start on that side. If there is no fire, hydrogen will not remove the carbon at inlet temperatures. What gas did that man blow in? Probably just air. Then a test on a power bank? Surely this man knows that you have to enter the temperature, air pressure and water vapor voltage in the computer of that power bank? This has to be done with the first and the last test, that has a considerable effect on the outcome. He doesn't even seem to be doing a comparison test based on his comments. He must be able to indicate the power compared to the first measurement conditions, then you know what the real difference in power is. Usually the computer measures this data itself, but it does not appear from his comment that he knows this. In short, 2 buggers in a row.
