I remember in 8th grade (2013) when this game was about to drop and literally everybody was talking about it. The students, the teachers (albeit a few), all my friends and the hype was unreal. SOON as that game dropped, one of my friends stopped going to school for about 2 weeks talking about some "I had to play GTA V my bad bro" LMAOOOO

The most encouraging thing in this trailer is that it seems they've put a lot of effort into creating a high quality script to rival good movies. The character depth seems much better and interesting too.

It's October 19th 2020 today making the game just over 7 years and 1 month old. I left the 6 year comment over a year ago. Face it you are all wrong and can't count.

I can't smash the like button hard enough. I remember exactly when and where I was when I first saw this trailer. These trailers and the game itself are more than a game but a piece of art: a movie.
is it me or is micheal looking older in this trailer? also the cop car looks different and some cutscenes are changed...obvious a beta version XD
He was suposed to be older only to give a more "I am 60 and tied to work" vibe, but they changed coz they needed a more realistic feel from him.

This has such an 80s feeling to it. It's awesome, reminds me of all the great 80s action movies... It's apity they don't make movies like that anymore, with the same kind of humour etc. at least they still make the games like that though.
I watched it already 3 times in a row and I can't stop watching this trailer! I can't take it anymore It's too much awesomeness in here!

If you stop the video at 1:39, you can clearly see that jet is a Hydra. This trailer was 2 years before the heist update. +Hydra is not in singleplayer

GTA 5 had alot of hype but GTA 4 was hype overload, i remember it like yesterday, it was everywhere!
On TV billboards, newspaper, actual news stations, 24/7 promoting on the radio, stores that usually never opened late would be opening.
I remember going with my brother to the local Blockbuster at midnight & picking it up, that night i had about 30 mins sleep all night before going to school the next morning & then at school it was GTA 4 talk galore
to this day i have never experienced a launch quite as big..

@@zackfisher6893 if I were to guess, I'd say that it's to establish that Trevor is waayyyy more than just a big deal, or to make gta IV fans feel a huge feeling of insecurity. That way you know he's crazy, he's not kidding, and he could destroy everything one love in a second,
there's a difference between showing us, and making us feel
But I guess he could have made that with less important GTA IV characters
The characters look very different in this trailer compared to their final appearances, especially Michael because he looks a lot older in this.
