This is one of the few early Megadeth videos I would recommend watching, even though y'all ready reacted to the song. Some of the early Megadeth videos are edited for time, overdubbed with stupid crap or simply have things not needed. It detracts from the music, which no video should do.
It was definitely Megadeth's answer to the Black album. And what an answer it was. It's my second favorite Megadeth album. Behind Rust In Peace. It edges out Peace Sells But Who's Buying for one reason. Countdown To Extinction in it's entirety, is a better album than Peace Sells But Who's Buying is in it's. If I had a nickel for every time I've sung the Symphony of Destruction riff I'd be a very rich man. It's just pure ear candy to me.
Don't forget Peace Sells and Killing is My bussiness period . Chris Poland is so huge guitarist. But you right . Marty and Nick was something else . I like Marty's Cacophony albums .I miss those days 🤟🤟🤟🤟
I think a few songs like Insomnia, Prince of Darkness, Wanderlust, and Time: The End are good too but I wouldn't consider Risk to be among the greats. I think that was Marty's final album with Megadeth.
Hell yeah, this is one of Megadeth's best albums!!! Y'all GOTTA check out "Ashes In Your Mouth" from the same album, it's one of the best songs Megadeth has ever written!!! I'm telling you, that song is a freaking masterpiece!! Great reaction as usual guys, have a great day everyone! 🤘🤘🤙🤙
Megadeth and Dave were on a mission in those days. They were unstoppable. When the hair bands were overloading the scene and grunge was taking over, there were a handful of metal bands that became even bigger and didn't stop. Megadeth being one of them. This album was huge.
This album needs a full reaction guys. This is my favorite album of all time. You need to listen in order too. I thinking this came out in 93, 16 studio album, 6 live, 7 compilation, 6 video albums, 44 music videos,2 EP and 49 singles. Getting thrown out from Metallica was the best thing to happen for thrash. I cant picture growing up without megadeth. Still my favorite band. Have seen the 14 times, including this full album anniversary tour. Did the same for the rust in peace anniversary tour. The megadeth merch was from the newest album tour.
'92......I saw this tour too. The band was so good on this album. They hit another level. And live too. I've seen them in the '80s a few times, but this tour was fire. Great album
@@FreeMTrider I was 10..... but yeah this album was a masterpiece. A little lighter than rust but still great. Rust made me a metalhead but this album made me a megadeth fan for life.
I was a early fan. I heard Killing is My Business......not long after it came out. Crappy production, but the music was awesome. I think I found the album after hearing it on a pirate radio station out of Sacramento.
I was 17 the summer of 1993 and saw them during this album tour. They had White Zombie and Pantera as opening acts. This concert was my first and it was wild.
"Addicted To Chaos" is the best Megadeth song ever and I HIGHLY recommend it. Of course I relate to it a lot. Either way is a awesome song that people overlook. "If I know I'm going crazy I must not be insane" Dave Mustaine
We ALL have an internal conversation. Out loud helps, cos the questions reenter your ear and your brain processes it differently. That's why having an audience/someone to talk to is so helpful
The “Smile it’s black tooth grin” line was the inspiration for Dimebag Darrell naming his signature drink. A double shot of Seagrams. 7 or Crown Royal with a splash of. Coke to darken it. Was originally the. Seagrams then changed to Crown lol
This whole album is fire. This came out when I was a senior in High School back in the 90's. You guys need to do a whole album reaction of Countdown To Extinction. Yes, that was all Dave Mustaine on vocals.
They have 16 albums. Countdown To Extinction is their 5th album and was released in 1992. Saw them twice on the 20th Anniversary tour for this album. They played the album in its entirety + more. Great shows.
Good morning, gents! Thank you SO MUCH for not doing the remastered version. This is vastly superior. This was the first Megadeth song I heard, back in like, '93 or something, and it kicked my ass. Dave's vocals and solo are awesome, and the post-solo riff is still one of my favorites to this day.
2 seconds in already liked and commenting. Haven’t been this excited for one of your reactions in quite sometime. Unpopular opinion. “Countdown to Extinction “ is the best Megadeth album.
I agree with you, I've always felt it's pretty much a tie between Rust In Peace and Countdown To Extinction. I personally prefer Countdown To Extinction, Megadeth has a lot of hidden gem albums that get overlooked by most fans though. Youthanasia, The World Needs A Hero, and Hidden Treasures to name a few.
Wow! 1 t shirt was pretty much all i listened to in high school, the other t shirt i watched so much as a kid that in my later years spent way more than i should have to buy the dvd. Talk about bring me back. Good stuff as always guys
This is the first Megadeth song I ever heard. I was around 12 when the album came out and I was pretty much just getting into hard rock, like AC/DC and GnR since around age 10. I was chilling at home watching Much Music (Canadian MTV) when the video for Sweating Bullets came on. I was absolutely mesmerized. I had never heard anything like it before. I remember thinking something like, OMG, this must be heavy metal. Been hooked ever since and though this isn't my favorite Megadeth song, it will always have a special place in my heart for being the song that turned me on to metal. Glad you guys enjoyed it too!
Saw these dudes 7 times on their best tours including this one of course. Killer live band! Plus they would tour with other heavyweights like JUDAS PREIST and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS among many others! Badass concerts! I know you guys won’t do it, so listen to this on your own time. No channel will risk my suggestions even though I know WTF I’m talking about being Old School and have gone to ALL these concerts. Studio version of JUDAS PREIST: Riding On The Wind! It’s a powerhouse, Classic Hard Rock song. This was at their commercial peak and it’s them firing on all cylinders! High energy, make you want to go fast music! Just listen to it, doesn’t have to be on your channel. Then maybe you’ll get an idea of where I’m coming from and we can build some musical trust. I have songs that will blow all the channels away, guaranteed. I Am the Old School.
I remember first hearing this on a compilation tape that came with Kerrang magazine (Uk rock and metal magazine) in the mid 90s I think. It stood out so much just for how bizarre it was!
In addition to the split personality theme of the song, there are insinuations of Jack the Ripper being discussed in this song. I forgot where I heard or read that. But the line "bloodstain on my hands and I don't know where I've been" could be a Ripper reference...or just a killer in general...
The Black Tooth Grin, that’s a reference to the drink invented by the late great Dimebag, of which he had tattooed on his right ankle!!! Remember, had it not been for again, the late great Nick Menza being the newly added drummer, both Dime and Vinnie Paul may have also played in Megadeth?! Thankfully, the world had the Pantera we all know and love!!!!
I talk with myself all the time at home I do talk out loud BEST DAMN CONVERSATIONS I'VE EVER HAVE. LOL. But its true. I agree with myself all the time ❤.
I really think Hollywood is spot-on with that Blues comparison. The way the song is arranged is definitely a call-and-response between the vocal and the music going back and forth it reminds me of songs by Howlin Wolf and even Ray Charles
Megadeth has a ton, in no particular order: 1. Killing is my Business. 2. Peace Sells 3. Rust in Peace. 4. Countdown to Extinction. 5. Cryptic Writings 6. Risk 7. Youthanasia 8. Maaaaan this whole album was fantastic! We fr need a Megadeth Monday or a Metallica/Megadeth. They got 16 albums and all but one are fire (I like risk but not all of it) They won an award for the title song for animal rights awareness.
I remember as a kid singing Metallica and this song... I remember being 4 and singing these 2 bands in our backyard... My step mother came running out thinking a man was in the backyard..
2:42 I always thought he said "It's Gotta be Me" Guess not. Last year's The Sick, The Dying...and The Dead! was their 16th studio album. 17:58 No that's MPD aka DID. Schizophrenia is when you see people who aren't actually there. Also gotta get to Trust, 99 Ways to Die, and my favorite, Train of Consequences
In the intro to.the vh1 special behind the music Megadeth episode the narrator gives his blurb. Prepare to take a journey to the molten core of speed metal! 😂 Great hype. Now the secret to the hooks...when they would get stuck in the studio, they'd go out back and shoot hoops. Yes the hook is the beat of the bouncing ball. Picture it in your head and you'll see it.
Haven't heard this song in a LONG time. It's kinda hilarious and corny hearing some parts of this again after so long... I thought this song was SO HARD back in the 90s. Also, the way he sings SWEATING BULLEEEEETS makes me think of Daytona, the arcade game from the 90s. Daytooonaaaaaaa!

@shane8915 couldn't agree more, closely followed by Youthanasia.....another master piece
Rust In Peace, Countdown To Extinction, Youthanasia, Cryptic Writings are all masterpieces. The Nick Menza, Marty Friedman days.
Don't forget Peace Sells and Killing is My bussiness period . Chris Poland is so huge guitarist. But you right . Marty and Nick was something else . I like Marty's Cacophony albums .I miss those days 🤟🤟🤟🤟
I would include Hidden Treasures.
Go to Hell, Angry Again, Breakpoint, Paranoid. These songs are 🔥🔥🔥 man.
I think a few songs like Insomnia, Prince of Darkness, Wanderlust, and Time: The End are good too but I wouldn't consider Risk to be among the greats.
I think that was Marty's final album with Megadeth.
@@tunculaskaracar Don’t forget Gar Samuelson, he practically made the double bass drum a Megadeth essential for all that followed him.
The official video makes this song even better!

No steve just stay back with that horrible recommendations so these 2 bozos can get into real metal bra
Gotta listen to Train of Consequences!! That riff SLAPS!!

I'm sure everyone will agree that this whole album is 🔥 . 90's Megadeath is my favorite

"If I know I'm going crazy I must not be insane" Dave Mustaine
Addicted To Chaos is my favorite too!🤘
Hands down my favorite. Dave kicking himself in the head in the video cracks me up every time, this album proved thrash wasn't quite dead yet.
We ALL have an internal conversation. Out loud helps, cos the questions reenter your ear and your brain processes it differently. That's why having an audience/someone to talk to is so helpful
I saw Megadeth in May, and the venue went NUTS when this song started.
Saw them last year and this was the song I headbanged to the most lmao
They had the cleanest sound in metal. What a great time that was🤘
Symphony of Destruction live in Argentina is one of my all time favorite live performances
without a doubt the breakdown of this song is one of my favorites of all metal
I like playing this one on the drums its got a funky beat.
That was definitely our Dave BUT, this was the rehab album so it's how Dave sounds when he ISN'T coked off his tits. This album is a MASTERPIECE.

You gotta watch the video.
Also my favorite. First Megadeth song heard, maybe 12 or 13 yrs old.
This song needs the original video. With them all in the cells and many Dave Mustaine doppelgängers still my all time favorite Megadeth song
One of my favorite songs by Megadeth
"Ashes in your mouth" kicks ass on this album

Black tooth grin is the name of dimebags drink he named it after this song
Boys it's time you listened to some more Mars Volta, "Goliath" is the track I'd check out !!!
This early 90's I think, I saw this tour, STP opened for them.
The line Black tooth grin , becomes the name of Dimebags' favorite drink . Crown and coke
the official video of this piece is pretty fun to watch.
Maximum overdrive?? That's a relatively obscure Stephen King Reference, Fucking love it!!
Dude, love the Maximum Overdrive shirt!!🤘🏻🔥
Sick shirt Smokey! Big horror fan right here 🤘

Side note. Dimebag liked this song so much he named his favourite drink after it. Black Toooooth!
Videoclip to that song is EPIC! It helps to understand these "voices"... Watch it lads

Captive Honour from this album is another one of my favorites
Best Megadeth lineup of all time I don’t care
Epic all the 2Y around.
If this song didn't almost see the future then some people are just blind. Lol great reaction to Megadeath.
George Harrison ~ My Sweet Lord (High Quality) 💖✌
Motorhead came along with Maiden and Judas priest, Though Motorhead was the punk bridge to metal and Priest was british also.
As someone said y'all will like Have Cool, Will Travel or Train of Consequences I think.
You need to see the official video for this 🤘
