- My Best 10 Videos Of All Time! I no longer film trains and I have recently moved on to railway photography. Here is what I think are my best ever videos from my 5 years on UA-cam. Counting down from number 10 to number 1.
Thanks for watching my videos, thanks to all those who subscribed, commented and liked my videos over the years. It was great! I move onto railway photography now.

good collection of vids. so glad to see how many of your films were of steam engines. so glad that these beautiful pieces of living history are still running the way that god intended instead of being in a museum, dead and cold. may that be the case for a long time coming.

Top for me, was 31 and 52 class diesel locomotive and the Steam Passenger locomotives. Beautiful.

The Black 5s did it for me not just because they look stunning and it was so well filmed but because the moment I watched this memories of me asking my dad as a boy what his favorite loco was and his reply was instantly Black 5s now I know why bless him. Thank you and yes definitely number one slot you just know it .

In all seriousness, all that clag is probably not doing any good to the reliability or otherwise lifespan of the engine.
You just don't get lovely pollution like that these days thanks to the hinderance and sabotage agency, ooopss, sorry, health and safety agency
i Well looked after engine even of that age would be pumping out minimal amounts of crap compared to this, a very neglected engine in this video.

Worth seeing if only for the two Black Fives at the end!!!!!If the poms did something really well, it was building a steam locomotive.

Interesting videos and I liked the guy running around opening the gates to the road old style.
Shame you have decided to give up on train videos since you made good ones; does it have to be such a black and white decision? Perhaps you could occasionally add a video since I assume you are not removing your YT account.
What is the reason for those yellow painted trains? The 73s are amazing.
Marc Conyard the yellow stands out to track workers better. Just an added safety feature.

Why is there steam coming out of the last carriage, on the last clip?
R Bousfield The train was being steam heated and this was a bit of steam leaking from the back of the coach. Happened a lot with steam heat trains and wasn't a fault, you would still have a reasonably warm carriage. 😀

Photos suck! Sound and motion is where it's at! You could do both... set up shot for vid and leave it running then use whatever still cam you've got to get the photos... just sayin... I saw a vid of the aftermath of one of those engines from your #7 which had rammed into the back of a freight and was wedged up between the freight car it ran over and a bridge they were both under. I believe the engine was recently fresh off the train ferry from Spain, where they were made.

about time the dirty noisy, stinking steam trains were banned, how disgusting a sight and sound, what pollution !
Diesel trains actually contribute far more pollution than steam trains, what you see coming out of the stack on a steam train is actually steam. They are very efficient and clean to run. Diesel fumes are far more harmful to the environment.
Also they are beautiful to the eyes and ears. I don't know what you are seeing/hearing
