- Ah, 2013. Another year, another bunch of tosh titles that are just asking to be torn to shreds by the very best gaming channel on the internet. There is good news though, because in our last Worst Games of… list, we covered the most terrible game that’s ever been made, so at least you’re safe in the knowledge that things will never be quite as bad as that. They do come pretty darned close though. Here are the 10 Worst Games of 2013.

(somewhere between 2010-2015)
I got backed up against a car that was crashed into the wall at a angle by I think 10 walkers so I can't go left or right
all 10 of them died in that QTE knife stab escape sequence.... all 10 zombies grabbed.

You forgot to mention that RIPD the game was literally a reskin of the developer's previous game God Mode
I got a memory of The Walking Dead Survival Instincts thats always gonna stick with me. Senior year of high school, I'm chilling at my buddy's place and he's playing TWD SI, he's on top of a tanker truck, surrounded by a hoard and he says "I'm so boned if I fall off this thing". And without missing a beat I just replied with "No, you'll be deboned." He stops, pauses the game, looks at me serious, then just busts out laughing saying "I see what you did there".
My bad bro I almost missed the laugh queue!

I think that game had a lot of potential. Just didn't flush out things enough.
2013 was an interesting year for gaming.Two new consoles launched that year, And we got plenty of games but there was a lot of crap.
Funny how Farming Simulator has now become one of the most popular game franchises nowadays. Farming Simulator 22 released and was on top of the steam charts for a couple weeks
"A waste of a good license" sounds accurate for The Walking Dead as a whole.
Telltales were good
It really says something that ten games managed to score lower than Aliens: Colonial Marines. Ouch.
Since the AI was “patched” it is at least playable but yah still pretty bad.
I had a chance to get Ride to Hell awhile ago but they were asking $40 for it, which is way too flippin much for just a couple laughs lol
I went to some game store in early 2014 and got my copy there. It didn’t have a price tag, so I went to the clerk and they went, “Just take it.”

@@Frieowksf1293 That's still WAY too much for it. Even just taking it is way too much for a ride to hell. I don't know how much anyone should pay for the game, but it ain't enough, and it ain't worth it. It's better to probably either watch someone review it, and watch as they plunge into insanity as they play it, or watch someone just play it, or just bash your head against a wall, while watching paint dry instead, while screaming about bad Ride to Hell truly is. Take your pick.
I swear that for a whole year or more, this game was constantly on sale in Grantham Asda 😁
Ride to Hell got 15%? I was expecting much, much lower.

the footage used for farming simulator was the PC build which was far worse than the console version. I loved fs 13 with all of its imperfections and now the newest versions are some of the most beautiful simulator games on the market!
Never thought I'd like it, since I've barely touched anything to do with farming. But I make a thing of playing nearly everything, and since the immoral asshats at Epic at least gives out stuff for free, I grabbed FS19. Got addicted. It's dangerous.

@@aidanloughran131 Nah, I'll just buy it when I have the time. I have sooooo maaaaany games to go through :P Right now I'm playing My Time at Sandrock for relaxing games. And Dyson Sphere Program. And Element TD2. And Let's Build a Zoo. And Slime Rancher. And Tropico 4. And a ton of retro games.

I thought Labrador Warriors 3.5 QHD Rehashed was mid, to be honest. Not expecting it on this list.
The worst thing about that Walking Dead game was it had potential.
I agree, tons of potential but they squandered it. Walking dead could make for an amazing game yet somehow the only good walking dead games we have so far are the VR one and the telltale series

You should check out the walking dead: saints and sinners VR game if you are a fan walking dead just in general. It’s a great game, one of the best VR games out there right now. A sequel is on the way too
@@jeremyroberts8822 I believe I have that, there were two that came out right? I bought one on my Quest but incidentally I stopped playing my Quest last year. If that's the one you're talking about I should give my VR another try cuz I've seen clips from Walking Dead VR and they seem great. Either way thanks for pumping my interest in dusting my Quest off!
Imagine criticising a simulator for simulating what it's simulating so well it's just as uninteresting as a game as it is in real life. Surely that actually means it passes with flying colours? One of my mates loves Farming Simulator, and there's at least one sequel, so it's definitely got a fanbase.
There’s way more than 1 there’s hella sequels. I’m pretty sure it’s on a yearly release schedule like sports games are lol. Your friend prolly is playing one of the way newer ones where they’ve improved a lot of aspects of the gameplay. There’s actually even esports competitions for farming simulator
Farming Simulator 22 was on top of the steam charts for a few weeks when it released so to say it has a couple fans is an understatement

Crazy how the worst games of 2013 are better than some of the best titles in Modern Gaming shows how hard the medium has fallen since the Gamergate and greed thats taken over

I remember playing Farming Sim 2013 with my dad, crashing a tractor and being unable to get it unstuck.
Maybe I have been lucky, but casting my mind back over these "Worst of" videos I don't think I have actually owned one. I know there was a "worst games ever" of a Wii game I had (Emergency Heros) but in my defence that was a present, I wouldn't have bought that for myself!
If they put money into that Walking dead game it could have been so good

Missed opportunity with that Walking Dead Survival Instinct entry.
Michael Rooker was in both the campaign and zombies modes in COD BO2.
Didn't have to use that Guardians of the Galaxy footage. Could have used COD in-game ones instead.
SI wasn't a bad gsme at all, especially since it was a $40 budget title
I think TWD SI was pretty fun. Maybe not exactly "good" but it was very satisfying just bashing zombie's skull with a pipe or a hammer

Considering how much the franchise lends itself to video games, it's really kind of shitty that there are only 4 good Power Rangers games. Well 1 decent one 2 pretty good ones, and 1 genuinely good one.
Ashes Cricket 2013 definitely deserved to be on the list.
The Megaforce game seems like a perfect representation of the show.
@Grima the Fell Dragon Aye. Goseiger may have its flaws, but its heart was in the right place and the characters (Alata and Gosei Knight in particular) grew splendidly over time.
The best part of Double Dragon 2 Wander of the Dragon is the special meter. If you fill it up you can perform a badass attack... key word being "if". Because sometimes it just empties without you using the special attack, then refills back to that point randomly for some reason. But if you care about getting the "good ending"... Don't use it. Any run you use it on will give you the bad ending. What a stupid choice. I suuuuuure hope no psychological horror games tries to use that bullshit...
Yeah but that controller setup for Farming Simulator was pretty cool...

The Double Dragon series got absolutely awful home ports back in the 80s, so the makers of the game here are just keeping up an old tradition.
I remember getting walking si at gamestop for $20 and to this day it's was one of the worst games i've ever played, got an hour in and returned it.

i had he walking ead survival instnct on ps3 and i loved it for being a stealth action zombie horror! when ou finish the game some suvivors give you stuff to use when you start anew game so im still planning on playing it to save someone that give you a pistol silencer so im still planning on playing it twice more just not anytime soon

The whole prerequisite of it having to have seven professional reviews is kind of lame considering there are tons of stuff that simply is legend by how notoriously bad and broken it is.
The CD-i in general is an absolute infamous dumpster fire of broken busted and almost unfinished games.

I actually loved playing Farming Simulator. And TWD as well.
Goat Simulator was way better than Farming Simulator.

How fitting that one of the worst Power Rangers seasons spawned one of the worst games of the last decade
Wow....I didn't realize 2013 had so many turds for video games. I knew Ride to Hell would be #1 but I didn't know the fighter within and the dragon remake were made during that year. I had to get ride to hell because I love the games that are so bad they are good. Got it on Amazon in 2017 for $13

Comparing RtH with The Room is so not justified. That movie is hillarious, fascinating, and however bad it is it seems to come from a true experience which Tommy Wiseau at least tried to interpret into cinema. Ride to Hell is just a disgusting wank fantasy.
The original pitch and concept and everything was really good but the execution was such a slapped together mess it's not even funny.

Farming simulator should include all the new rules and regulations that they have to deal with all the time, or at least in the country where I live. And dead crops, politics, economic crisis, air pollution, illegal drug dumps, etc. would be interesting. That you could chose to be super eco friendly, or be blackmailed by criminals that want to use your empty sheds.
Would be a nice game.
Survival instincts and farming simulator dont get enough attention or love, one is absolutely terrible and the other one is God tier level of country living. As a farm sim wind farm millionaire, you didn't play it right if you didn't like it

I'm sorry, but Nintendo is by FAR the king of first-party games. No one has as many beloved and high-ranking first-party as Nintendo does. If they ONLY sold First-party games they probably wouldn't fair much worse than they do today. If Sony or, God forbid, Microsoft tried to get by on JUST first-party, their games divisions would fold in no time.

R.I.P.D. was a damn good movie troll, you crazy.
Also the RIPD game was actually a reskin of another crappy game released by the devs called God Mode(which TotalBiscuit pointed out in his WTF is video on it)
I do feel like that movie was unfairly maligned. It had a lot of similarities to things like MIB it just wasn't the big budget franchise it wanted to be and really tried to be.
