Live at the po with the SuperJesus forever ago - guitarist broke a string playing the instrument on the edge of the stage and support tried to give them a new one and they just played on. Unmatched energy and intensity. I was just watching Hole and Foo and other vids and still one of the best concerts was that night in the Po. So epic.

This is a different mix than on the album, right? On the album, the choruses have doubled vocals whereas this video has a single clean vocal track on the chorus making the song sound a lot starker than it is on the album.
oops my bad. This was on an SA compilation album. Spent the last 20 years thinking they were a very under appreciated band. Go figure. Still great song. I hope they got there royalties.
According to Wikipedia and Rateyoyrmusic this particular song was featured on these v/a compilations: 1) 'Pop Eyed' (Flying Nun Records, 1996) 2) '100 % Kiwi Rock' (Warner Music, 2001) 3) 'Les Inrockuptibles présentent un Hiver 97' (December 1996) 4) 'CMJ New Music Monthly 51' ( November 1997) and on a couple of compilations after 2000.
Looking forward to the 25th anniversary of Last Exit to Garageland at the Powerstation in October.
God damn it, how did I miss that???
One of the greatest bands I ever saw play live.

So good they recorded music videos for their best songs. It’s such a great thing to do when you have a handsome and cute frontman.
Good shit
Love it
I only saw this for a sec on Alt Tv but I instantly knew this was New Zealand music :D
The singer looks like Jordan from the Exponents O_o
I flat with this dude (Jeremy). He's a good guy.
Wells i guess? Never knew Newsboy sang in a group. hahaha
Intro is a D chord-D chord with open high e string
Then verse and chorus are just: E, C, C#, and B poewr chords.
Those aren't the chords. The intro is Amaj, the verse and choruses are Emaj, G#maj, C#min, Bmaj
"i miss you every single day"
Love yiz

I have the same mix on the album! Maybe the european version is different ?
there was a mix done for the US release which is much tighter and more radio friendly. This is the original mix

Can you remember the name of the compilation? It's been bothering me for weeks. I think it was a 5FM compilation, but that's just a guess.

@EppiHatRecht Big time
Probably because the first three notes of this chord progression is the same as Lithium.
