I love Indian food we get great Indian food in the Uk When I have been to India and I have been many times and been to most of the big City's . In India as you must know you get great Chinese food in India it is amazing . My favourite restaurant in Kolkata is Mainland China it's amazing
You need to go to Sugam in Silom! I am an Indian food junkie and almost retired chef. South Indian is my favorite cuisine! Masala dosa, Idli and Thali is sooooo good there. Mostly Veg. Very homely style.I am surprised the area is not also known as little India as the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple is also on that street. Pan Rd. Many awesome restaurants to be found around that temple area! We have been to the place you are eating at now and it is also super yummy. Love to follow your travels. Cheers!
@@zaidvoyage4277 you will definitely not be disappointed. One thing to note is that they are closed from 3-6PM so basically a lunch or dinner place. There are also several great south indian places in the area and an amazing temple. You will see if you wander the area. It's awesome.
Hi Chris, food looks amazing! The BTS and MRT distinction is outdated now as the MRT lines go above ground as well, an easier distinction is MRT and BTS are run by two different companies.
No. 1 restaurent in Asia is surprisingly Indian and in Bangkok, try the progressive Indian cuisine at Gaggan. Its mind boggling in terms of presentation and craft, please book a table in advance sometimes its booked 3 months in advance(Nit Kidding).
Hi there, We live in the same area as you. My wife saw you cross street last week 😌. Thank for share the india restaurant and how to get there. We will try soon. I'm not sure that you like Japanese ramen or not. But if you do. I recommend the one call "Bankara Ramen" in deep Sukhumvit 39. (They have branch in major department store too but not as good as this original place). There raman is thick soup with heavy taste. The Kakuni (stream pork belly) is the must. I recommend Kakuni Bankara ramen, also you should try Tsukemen (dry ramen with dip soup).

I'm ashamed to say this: After visiting Thailand (and BKK) since 2004, I never knew there was a little india. I knew about the LI in KL and Singapore, but not BKK. I usually go to the arab quarter on soi 3 for my indian and middle eastern food. Certainly appreciate you edifying me. Someone mentioned Dosa King, I can vouch for that place. Very good southern indian vegetarian. Also "AL Hussein" on soi 3 for excellent middle eastern as well as indian. Just found your channel, I really like it. Keep up the good work. I should have my O-A visa in about 6 months. Can't wait to get back to BKK.

@@OneLifeTwoLive If you get off the BTS at Nana and walk to soi 3 you can't miss it. Many delicious middle eastern restaurants. There is access from Sukhumvit, as well as soi 3. If you go to google maps and zoom in to the area you will see all the Arab restaurants. Some really great food to be had in this area.

I been to thailand many times and my favorite place in bbk is prathunam where delicious indian food available and if you visit pattaya then must try indian food at punjabi tadka on second road of pattaya just behind walking street. You are correct, I figured this out years back, I normally visit a Samosa place next to the Sikh temple open in the afternoons, they make fresh on the spot Samosa's, that's the only item they make.
As a fellow Canadian I have to say, I moved to Brampton a year ago, and the Indian food out here is the best I've tried in most places. It may not be as cheap as Bangkok but it's definitely delicious. Can't wait to retire there.

I agree on the transportation it should be all in one card for the water taxi, subway, sky train, local train and buses. Next time I head that way I will definitely try it since my in-laws lives near the canal and Mega and Lido Mall.
Shalimar restaurant in San Francisco was my first introduction to Indian food and still my favorite outside of India. No bullshit just pure taste sensation!

If you like Indian food and dont have time to visit India, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia or Singapore are your best destinations, you cant beat that, both are true foodie destinations. Try the world famous Fish Head Curry in Singapore.

Next time you are in little India, I would highly recommend a Burmese stall that sells burmese khao suey amongst other delights (it is steps from the sweets shop in your video). Enjoy!
Have you gone into the Ban Mo market area? Crazy selection of stuff. The displays with the 100+ types of flashing lights is pretty fun. And it is one of the *really* rare places in the world where you can find vendors who sell electronic module PCB's.
Kanishka in Redmond. It's in the shadow of Microsoft in a town with hundreds of Indian restaurants, but this is the one good enough that they had to take over the next door space and move their takeout there. Parking lot is usually super full though. If you're feeling cheap, Trader Joes/Aldi has surprisingly good Indian TV dinners~

I recommend you to visit a nice restaurant called Charcoal Tandoor Grill & Mixology, it's located at Fraser Suites Sukhumvit Soi 11. Great Indian fusion food with excellent services !! From what I love for this place, you will hear a unique vehicle horn sound at the entrance of the restaurant. Making you feel just like you are in the middle of the bustling street in New Delhi. You're gonna love it for sure !!
Well the best Indian food in my city which is Sao Paulo, Brazil, is the one I cook....rsrsrsrsr. There are over 20.000 restaurants known as good in the city, so you can imagine the multiple options you may find in the city, and of course there are some good indians ones.
Love Indian food. Favorite in the Seattle area should you ever get here is Naan & Curry. Their is the original one in Renton and the new one in Issaquah
Went there last night. Spent 230 baht on 2 dishes, 4 roti and a water. Portions very small, not worth it. Only the "Chili Chicken" was decent, the "Fried Fish w/ Rice" was not very good at all. Left feeling like I could have eating a lot more. They serve street food at jacked prices and don't have a toilet. For the price they should have a proper restaurant with indoor seating and aircon. *I don't recommend this place*, although I'm glad I tried it.
Really enjoyed this....wish it’d been longer! When I lived in Pratunam (in Bangkok) I would go to a hole-in-the-wall place called Everest which served serviceable South Asian thali meals I was thankful for. Had I known about this Little India I would have ventured there! Also enjoyed your panning cityscape textural shots & rain footage.

Try Sri Lankan foods one day, Ministry of Crab Bangkok or Manel Lanka for cheaper option. You wont regret!

I recommend you to visit a nice restaurant called Charcoal Tandoor Grill & Mixology, it's located at Fraser Suites Sukhumvit Soi 11. Great Indian fusion food with excellent services !! From what I love for this place, you will hear a unique vehicle horn sound at the entrance of the restaurant. Making you feel just like you are in the middle of the bustling street in New Delhi. You're gonna love it for sure !!
Well the best Indian food in my city which is Sao Paulo, Brazil, is the one I cook....rsrsrsrsr. There are over 20.000 restaurants known as good in the city, so you can imagine the multiple options you may find in the city, and of course there are some good indians ones.

Love Indian food. Favorite in the Seattle area should you ever get here is Naan & Curry. Their is the original one in Renton and the new one in Issaquah

Went there last night. Spent 230 baht on 2 dishes, 4 roti and a water. Portions very small, not worth it. Only the "Chili Chicken" was decent, the "Fried Fish w/ Rice" was not very good at all. Left feeling like I could have eating a lot more. They serve street food at jacked prices and don't have a toilet. For the price they should have a proper restaurant with indoor seating and aircon. *I don't recommend this place*, although I'm glad I tried it.
I love those street Somosas and you should check out Punjabi Sweets just across the street.
Really enjoyed this....wish it’d been longer! When I lived in Pratunam (in Bangkok) I would go to a hole-in-the-wall place called Everest which served serviceable South Asian thali meals I was thankful for. Had I known about this Little India I would have ventured there! Also enjoyed your panning cityscape textural shots & rain footage.

Indian food in bkk for me is at the Rembrandt hotel soi 18 Sukhumvit ,expensive but so good
