I saw this animatic Lily Fielder posted on Twitter in April and wanted to animate it as a practice exercise. x.com/Lillifie... I got a little carried away and hired Jessica DiGiovanni (the voice of Cyberverse Windblade) to play Starscream, and hired Cathryn Stark to professionally mix it... then I totally burnt out. I had Cian Morrissey finish up the final shots I hadn't done yet. Cathryn had a lot on her schedule (including Gravity Falls Return to the Bunker and Combaticons Wrath of the Junkions) and it took her a few months to get around to this. So in the end, my over ambition caused this to take waaaay longer than it should've of. I literally began this six months ago... but here it is! Enjoy.

Do Transformers even have a gender? They're robots. Make a male Transformer with wider hips and a female voice and you've got a woman.

Lillified is absolutely one of my favorite TF artists online, so I was THRILLED when I first saw earlier this year you were gonna animate this! When you told me you got Cyberverse Windblade herself to voice Starscream in it when I interviewed you back in May, I was even more excited to see it! Seeing the final product now totally made it worth the wait! You, Cian, Cathryn and everyone else involved should be so proud of yourselves!

I think it’s cannon that female Starscream lacks all of his flaws (such as cowardice). I love it!
She'd be a no-nonsense Deception hell-bent on success who often criticizes Megatron's plans/leadership in order to make sure its as perfect as it can be and often displays a hefty amount of skepticism when it comes to his evil schemes.
So she's Tranformers: Armada Starscream... I dig it.

I want this. I wanna watch this cartoon. The 2020's are the decade to see the Decepticons fully fleshed out beyond being merely bad guys for the sake of bad-guy-ing.
I mean... they've been that fleshed-out since the IDW comics started, that fleshing-out just generally isn't picked up by most adaptations. Plus when done well the megalomanical douchebag angle can be just as entertaining (see Animated, which really, REALLY needed that fourth season).

Let’s just hope that if someone actually makes a series out of it it doesn’t turn out to be like prime. Megatron beating the shit out of a fem-starscream and bringing true gender equality wouldn’t be appreciated by much of then audience (except me)

Just because she's a coward doesn't mean she is always in fear and can't stand up for herself, and with the limited context i have with this video i'm guessing that megatron is not at his 100% which is making starscream feel more safe, not only is she the more agile of the two (judging by their body type and size), megatron is tired (somehow a robot is tired, lol.)
