It’s so freaking awesome to not only have David Kaye reprise Optimus and Grim, but also *THE* Corey Burton reprise Megatron and Shockwave. Epic. 🤩
I was at TFcon physically to view the panel. Absolute honor to be a part of the handful of Transformers fans to see these scenes publicly. Wasn't able to meet you Keyan, but hopefully next year's convention I will be able to. I did meet the voice actress of your Vortex at the convention.

12:11 The subtle change from the live panel version is so funny. In that one, Shockwave transformed back as soon as Beachcomber finished speaking, so "Where did you hear that?!" was already Longarm. Here, he said that part (and therefore spent a full three seconds) just... as Shockwave, in the open, THEN switched to Longarm. Man will NEVER beat the terrible spy allegations and we will continue to dunk on him for years
Imagine if he tried to explain it away by claiming that he is a double agent.
I miss this series so bad. You could tell that it was a labor of love from all involved.
As someone who grew up with the show, thank you for this.
It's not my childhood, but I miss it too. I would love to see season 4.

I doubt they died, given that they survived in the season 4 plans. I'm pretty sure the only reason it killed starscream was because it was just on his head and unsecured, while the others had their shards secured in their chests
Man. They REALLY wanted beachcomber to die.
The extra Bulkhead and Bumblebee halloween stuff is actually pretty funny. Now I wish there was more to the subplot in the final episode

When I originally watched the finale, I actually wondered this exact thing. If Wreck-Gar and the Constructicons were offlined when they put the Allspark together.
I wish my question was never answered.
I'm more interested why Slipstream wasn't killed too. She was also created with the Allspark shard

I once read somewhere that while the Allspark was roforge in it's majority, some fragments of it still remain on Earth, and only those fragments which were "Easilh accesible got absorbed into the Allspark.

It was an absolute honor to be a part of this! Jokes aside about being replaced, it's such an incredible and surreal thing to have my credit next to/"collab" with Corey Burton in any context, especially in something as incredible as this!
Everyone involved killed it! You, Alex, Jeet, Max, David, everyone just did such a great job and it's nice to be able to not only revisit it since the panel but see how it's grown in the short time since!
Ngl, I was actually supposed to get Transformers Cybertron but I couldn’t. I got confused with that and Animated, though I don’t regret that, Animated is a HELLUVA good show.

My headcanon is that the allspark can detect whether the bot deserves to keep there life, for example it detected starscream didn’t deserve a second chance, but wreak gar and the constructicons didn’t, aside from constructicons

I always smile every time I see that scene where Optimus and Elita 1 laugh at each other. It really makes me want to see more of them together.
Yeah, especialy because we couldn't get that through all these years. In G1 we have an episode where we can see them as a couple before Alpha Trion repaired them, but it was just a moment. Also there is another one where we focus on fembots and how our bots helped them, they met, but again it was just a moment to say "goodbye".
Corey Burton certainly did a great job doing Shockwave and Megatron, and especially David Kaye for voicing Optimus and Grimlock.
I just love that. An extended view of the episodes. Especially those VA.
That's a really good idea of Starscream getting revived. He is too cool to die.

This might be cringe, but I’m so happy to finally hear what Beachcomber sounds like. He’s my favorite from G1, and ever since I saw his TFA design I’ve wanted to know. Super cool!
So he actually spoke in The Trial of Megatron presentation! We got to hear Tom Kenny’s voice and everything. Jason here was doing an impression of that.
It's not cringe. I love Boulder's voice from RB and RBA (especialy Polish).
I loved the scene "we underastimated autobot's ability to match our own cruelty", no wonder they deleted it for a kid's cartoon

these were so well made and i absolutely loved them! one question though, do you see yourself animating the first 3 episodes of the trial of megatron and using the tfnation script reading? it would be really cool to see!
I think it’d be a little awkward because the actors were saying “Bumblebee says _____”, rather than reading the line. And so a lot of them wouldn’t transfer into conventional line reads.
I’m also generally not the biggest fan of Trial of Megatron. I prefer the original intention for season 4, before Hasbro requested Ironhide joining the main team and Megatron being the main villain again on Earth.
I’ve considered animating scenes of it here and there, it’s just never been a priority. Plus animating the whole 60+ minute special would take a year or two.

It was a “friend of a friend” situation where I finally found a line of contact to him. He was actually really excited to do it! I got to do a Zoom session with him and everything.

One scene I'm actually glad was cut was the extended fight between Prowl and Starscream. Being a sci-fi robot from space, Starscream probably would know whether or not his weapons worked in a vacuum.

0:40 The original scene didn’t show Sumdac climbing up from the rubble. The original scene made it look like he just got crushed by the hand.
