Most people living here are affluent. The cost of living for a single person is around 950 euro and a family is approximately 4000euros a month. The above excludes your rent.
I visited in 2006 and 2022, it's expensive, but worth the money.

It is true Luxembourg is a rich country but there are not enough jobs as you made it sound. Lived there for 6 months but left. Loads of Germans and French themselves want to work there. And housing is a nightmare
