Hey hey, TripDressings, nice clip as usual! Hope all is well in Fukuoka. The mentaiko pasta and the grilled chicken looks good. Also the mackerel with white miso. Hmmm, the advices for hindus seem to be often for strict vegetarians, sometimes not. Not all hindus are total vegetarians. Beef is always out of the question, but chicken, lamb, fish and even pork, in for example Goa, are eaten. I have been to India and cook a lot of Indian food. The warnings seem a bit narrow, but I guess Indian people in Japan ofc can figure this out. The advices for pork to muslims are obvious. Do these advices include halal slaughter or not? No advices for jews? Well, enough of that. I eat basically all except insects. And actually lately I stopped eating tako - big octopus and whale because I think they are such beautiful creatures. And, no, do not eat dog either, but happily eat horse. I have a creeping feeling that my view might change about pigs, not for any religious reasons. I had pigs at a farm for many years, they were bloody smarter and more social than my dogs. Also goats were very smart. But most sheep, cows, hen, ducks, elks, deers and fish etc I consider close to vegetables, that is just me. Ok, not here to discuss what one should eat or not. Sorry, I can not comment on the pizza. The beef bowl looks good, but it is almost 200 yen more expensive than Matsuya! As you say. Tofu is not a fav I must say, except extremely creamy, fresh with endives and some olive oil. Or fermented with red miso Okinawan style for three weeks, stopped with awamori or vodka. I comes out like a fine French dessert cheese! Arigato and have good days!
