That is my goal! I should have all the studies, plus research methods and quizzes available. Once we get closer to exam I will launch my quizzes via Socrative. Download the app Socrative Student
Yes, my goal is to cover both exams. Thank you so much. If there is one in particular you need, please feel free to ask and I could cover that one before others..... I appreciate your comment!
I have a question regarding the 3 studies within Dement & Kleitman, specifically I guess the 2nd dealing with report of duration, were the three studies done separately if one another- meaning did they wake the subjects at different points to ask the 5 minute or 15 minute question or was this done the same time they were asking subjects if they were dreaming for the 1st part of the study? I’m new to teaching AS Psychology and I’m trying to get it straight. Thanks!
The participants came back multiple times during the experiment. The questions regarding time were done at random in order to not impose any demand characteristics on the participants
I dont have a drive dedicated to psychology... I created a Google classroom where all the documents I used to have in a drive are. I was a public teacher and they erased my DRIVE when I stopped teaching.
if we control not drinking alcohol and caffeine , then can i say that the results are also not generalisable to those who drink caffeine and alcohol on a daily basis ?
Not drinking caffeine or alcohol is a variable, it is not necessarily a trait of the population. If we gathered pps who didnt regularly drink alcohol or caffeine already then yes, but we controlled put environment to get more consistent results. We controlled those variables to help with sleep times thinking that it could effect sleep cycles some how making it irregular. By controlling we just got a more consistent results between pps
Hey, this is amazing. quick question, on the text book it says there is only one independent variable but 3 dependent variable and if you don’t mind can you just say what the i.vs were for each aim with full sentence just to make it a bit easier for my understanding. Thank you so muchh!
This is great! Reading just the study can be confusing with its terminology. Whats that class room code thing with the evaluations and stuff for all 12 studies?
