I'm sorry to say but this ensemble is not in tune with each other - particularly the male violinist though he's not the only one. If they would have been in tune, the performance would have been wonderful.
I completely agree! From what i can tell that 1st violin could be the culprit. Every time the ensemble comes in i must put on my virtual ‘untuned filter’ & prepare to wince. Close but no cigar. The harpist is rather good, especially in his solo portion in the 2d mvt larghetto but he had his ‘darn, wrong note’ moments too.
