Eric your a lucky man. Love the a-10 oxygen mask. Having attended many airshows I can say it really does make a difference for the spectator if you look the part(when possible of course) flying a warbird. WW2 fighter pilots look tough as nails wearing the helmet, goggles, and oxygen mask.
During the Flight one can occasionally read the Speedometer. The outer two o'clock position is 200 mph, three o'clock 220 and so on at the bottom exit of the Loop he reaches around 280 - 290 mph (450 - 480 km/h). It makes no sense to fly with very high speeds at airshows because you go out of sight of the crowd.
nice video ok the only warbrid with prop i have evrer rode in was a t6 anyway i thought that the spitfire would have sounded much sweater inside than that.
Thx alot mate! at Hahnweide we got our Squadronevent! Many guys from our squadron StG2 and Kampfverband friends was there! what a nice plane!

I am heavily addicted to this cockpit.
This bird just makes me drop a tear everytime. Thank you for this unique footage.
I'll never get the chance & this is about as close as an enthusiastic spectator could ever get. Wonderful! Thank you :) you're SO lucky!
Very Nice Video Eric. I love your displays. Best Regards and see you again 2013 on Hahnweide.

Amazing footage....
Eric you´re the best !!!! :)
perfektní dokonalé báječné, díky
You can see them due to how the camera's take the individual pictures for each frame.
@ericgoujon thanks for sharing this... you are one lucky man

Thanks for the great video! :-)
What speeds do you reach in such a display, please?
Bye.
Eric pourquoi tu met see you in 2013 en fin de video.
On ne te reverra pas dans le Spit avant?
I see the bullet proof windscreen has been replaced with a one piece windscreen. Did the a/c originally have a cockpit door?
Mesmerising
merci merveilleux
Q, Why are the individual propellers visible ? You'd think at the speed they are traveling they would be just a blur.
It's a mark 19, or XIX, if you prefer, Griffon powered ...
I really want to fly on Spitfire
Eric, is that Spit a Mark IX ? What manifold pressure do you use in the displays and what weight has the aircraft ?
SOOOO, Good :-)
Spettacolo!!!!!!
The cockpit movement & ground speed looks slightly speeded up to me..
awsome
great
SPITFIRE!!!!!!
no in war time it was faster but in a meeting they want you to see the bird
All is normal speed...?..!
A good video, just....maybe normal speed would've been better.
6 times...
;-)
Turned off after the lousy music
