Good job wherever this country is. Being able to product your own footwear or any other goods is a positive. Even if it's just to sell to your own people.
It is easy to make calm and without knowing the facts. The weather in Pakistan is extremely hot and humid it is almost impossible to wear shoes all the times

I had no idea that shoes are still handmade >..< No wonder I could never find my shoe size! Considering the time it takes to make them and all the work involved, it really puts things into perspective.
I hope they all get a decent wage including the children. It's not an easy job doing that all day especially the cutters. I hope the children are not exploited. God bless all of the workers.
Vendour sell these shoes in only 3 to 4 dollars on the streets in Pakistan, manufacturing cost is very low its about 1 to 1.5 dollar per pair of shoes...
It’s both admirable and concerning to see a child working hard to develop skills in difficult circumstances. While it’s important to recognize the resilience and dedication of children in such situations, it’s equally crucial to acknowledge that child labor often comes with significant risks and violations of rights.

Dear this is because of financial reasons people who belong to poor family have too many childrens in Pakistan like 5 to 9 so that's why when they grow up little they faced financial issues to run their life while during birth they never thought about the family planning and children education.so that's why childs go to their works to earn some 300 rupess a day to buy some essential food of daily life for home their mother father and childs go to work together.but in Pakistan now the begging is too much increased and people earn more money by being a begger than any good job person.
Dang. I thought this is a documentary about child labor 0:12. I just hope that these melted chemicals aren't ruining their health and they have a good working environment.

It’s troubling when the exploitation of children, especially in harsh working conditions, is overlooked or normalized by the public. This lack of awareness or concern can stem from various factors:

We have just been shown the exploitation of children. Child labor is prohibited! The fact that children are forced to work instead of studying affects the fact that Pakistan is a backward country. and due to the fact that the country is backward in terms of economy and technology, the population is mostly poor and children are forced to look for work. a vicious circle. but it can be interrupted if someone changes priorities at the state level.
Your statement raises important issues regarding child labor in Pakistan and its relationship with broader socio-economic challenges. Here are a few key points to consider regarding this situation: 1. **Child Labor Context**: Child labor often stems from poverty, lack of access to education, and inadequate enforcement of laws against exploitation. In many cases, families rely on the income generated by their children to survive. 2. **Impact on Education**: When children work instead of attending school, it limits their future opportunities, perpetuating the cycle of poverty and underdevelopment. Education is crucial for breaking this cycle and enabling economic and social mobility. 3. **Government Priorities**: Addressing child labor effectively requires a shift in government priorities, including investments in education, economic development, and social welfare programs. Policies should focus on protecting children and providing their families with alternative livelihood options. 4. **International and Local Support**: Collaborating with NGOs, international organizations, and community programs can help raise awareness and support initiatives aimed at reducing child labor and improving educational access. 5. **Public Awareness and Advocacy**: Increasing awareness among the public about the harms of child labor and advocating for change can motivate action at both the grassroots and policy levels. Breaking the cycle of child labor in Pakistan requires a comprehensive approach that involves education, economic support, and strong legal protections for children. By prioritizing these areas, positive change can be achieved. This message has been generated by Nova - download it for free: novaappai.page.link/gZMrxRNkg4D8dhtD8
