Just found your channel. Subbed. Looking forward to watching the 74's transformation. I've always thought the Haley slots are the only wheels for a c3 but man, those Ridleys😮
Love seeing these wheels got the same on my 87 Monte Carlo ss 20x10.5 in the rear with 18x9.5 in the front but honestly want to go wider in the front because I feel like they just don’t have that thick aggressiveness I’m looking for, prob gonna throw some grand national fender flares on just to fit that wider goodness.
18” wheels is the biggest I would go on a C3 corvette. I have 18”s in the rear and 17”s up front right now and that’s plenty big enough. Huge wheels on a classic car looks a bit dumb to me.
Blessings Friend, those wheels look great, how is the driveability, I have the same wheels in grey for my 1978 25th Anniversary Edition and trying to purchase the right size tire & rims, thanks for your help!!!
I did the 607's. I dig em. Those do look great though. After I set the car down, I open the doors and trampoline on the sills to squat it back down lol.
Did you have any rubbing I have a 81 Corvette and am wanting to put rims on it but don't know what I can get away with with out risking the finders..? Also nice Vette I'm going black also with black and silver interior I'm very close to finishing the build then off to paint,
Is there any rubbing when you turn in the front? Did you have stock suspension when you put these wheels on? I love these wheels and would like to put them on my 1980 corvette.
I’ve got all stock suspension (for now 😏) and there is no rubbing at all! I do run a .5” spacer in the rear. Not sure if I mentioned that in the video. No spacer up front worked for me and I set everything up with about -1 deg of camber
What spacer did you get? Do you have link? I just ordered these and get them mounted in two days on a 74 vette. Did they rub without the spacer in the back?
I just used a regular ol aluminum .5” spacer which gave me about a .5” to .625” gap to the trailing arm. No rubbing for me front or rear! Not sure what size tires you’re running but I used 285/30R20 rear and 245/35R20 front. Again, just a .5” spacer on the rear and nothing on the front
So glad you posted this video, I was going to order the same wheels in 18" but you have changed my mind. Thank you. Did you relocate your parking brake cable anchor?
I know I’m so glad I went with 20’s I was sold on the 18’s for a while but decided to go for it. Glad I did!! Didn’t have to change anything with the parking brake
The fronts are 20x8.5 with 4.75” backspacing 0 offset and the rears are 20x10 with 5.5” backspacing 0 offset. No spacer up front and a .5” spacer in the rear to give clearance to the trailing arm
There's nuthin like a man lovin on his Corvette ...
Thanks bro, this video inspired me to go with these wheels over the 695. I'm throwing it on a tuxedo black 68 Camaro, 18's front 20s rear

I got these but they are grey and 20x10. They are going to go on a 70 C10. They’re back ordered for 4-6 months
Looks great man what kind of rear wing did you buy? I have a 76 and I'm looking to buy a spoiler just like yours
Love the new wheels!👍
BLACK BEAUTY!!! Awesome combo
Good job Young Man, looks great

Bad ass
What backspace on the wheels?
Wheels look great they really match with that color combination!
That's what I was going for! Really ties everything together
@@mattinagarage2458 what type of hood do you have
Hey did you have to do any modifications to fit them?
What lug nuts did you use??
I bought 17's...
Old lugs are too wide.
Thanks and nice job, nice car man!
Amazing looking great job
Thanks!!
Did you have to put new wheel studs in the rear?
Oil leaks?

@@mattinagarage2458 I'm running the exact tires you have as well. Cars are very similar mine is just Orange :)
I’m stock and would like to run similar wheels
LOOKS AWESOME MATT. HAVE YOU LOWERED YOUR VETTE YET?
So glad you posted this video, I was going to order the same wheels in 18" but you have changed my mind. Thank you. Did you relocate your parking brake cable anchor?

Never mind I see your comment on same question below
The wheels look great. I have a Question about your hood. Did you buy a hood Scoop or buy the l88 hood?
Got the scoop and glassed it in. Painted it myself too
@@mattinagarage2458 WOW!!! Your Channel is Motivation. I am going to buy the hood scoop now and get those RIDLER 650 grey wheels. Thank you!!
Awesome man! Gonna look great!! 👍🏼
Beautiful how much did they cost???
Google Ridler 650 and find out! Haha 😂 I bought mine a year ago I don’t know if the price has changed
@@mattinagarage2458 thanks there beautiful pls post more thanks
what size are the rims and what back spacing did u need
The fronts are 20x8.5 with 4.75” backspacing 0 offset and the rears are 20x10 with 5.5” backspacing 0 offset. No spacer up front and a .5” spacer in the rear to give clearance to the trailing arm
No problem with rubbing on these on a C3?
No problems
That's tough! Do the rear tires rub?
Nope!
Did you have to use adapters for those wheels?
I did use a .5” spacer for the rear but nothing in the front. No rubbing or clearance issues for me!
@@mattinagarage2458 Thank you! I’m super stoked! I can’t wait to order my wheels. That Vette of yours is sick. Post some more videos
Where did you get this hood, any info on it?
I made it actually... took a later model C3 hood that came with the car when I bought it and molded a L-88 style scoop on it
what size wheels
Specs are in the video
