In a 2020 article in the Chicao Tribune headlined: "There are about 6,000 Michael Jordan cards - and this high-end collector owns about 4,000 of them. Inside his quest to own them all", they spoke with Nat about his Michael Jordan collection. They said he owned over 4000 of the cards in the master set, and his goal, he said, was to get them all. "It’s no secret that Nat Turner, the co-founder, and CEO of New York-based Flatiron Health, has what’s believed to be the world’s most prolific collections of Michael Jordan cards. He estimates that there are about 6,000 Jordan cards and he has about 4,000 of them. His goal is to have one of every Jordan card."
Well there are a hell Of a lot more than 6000 Michael Jordan cards as you can see if you actually watch the video. That is on the list already and he’s not number one. If you look down the list on the registry you’ll see his name.
While most people do - not everyone has their cards registered or slabbed. I have met two people that have Jordan only collections that would rival anyones and they are not registered… one did not like their cards slabbed and started collecting as a child and has non stop for 40 years and has all of the best cards. The other has bought collections over the years and has accumulated them in a warehouse and plans to sell them all when he retires. His collection is absolutely massive
Well if all the one guys cards are raw they definitely wouldn’t rival any of these guys collections. I don’t make the rules but that’s just how it goes. Raw Jordan’s don’t rival PSA 10’s
I think tire99 is the same guy who owns the three PMG greens. Just my stupid guess though, i don't have any "inside" information 🤪 It makes sense a guy with an addiction like that would also own 70% of all the MJ cards in existence. What's most impressive to me is not only does this person own 70% of every MJ card ever made, they are also ALL PSA graded 😳
It’s great to see the ‘84 Star has a weighting of a 10 and the ‘86 Fleer has a weighting of a 6. PSA must view the Star as the more important card. :-)
If Nat was running the show back then they would have. The old regime was too lazy to educate themselves and train the graders properly. I’m going to give Nat some grief for not buying PSA when he was 8 years old haha
I don't know Bryan. I found one dude in IG that is showing the most craziest MJ cards, all raw - no slabs, and holding them in his hands like he just pulled them out of a pack. I'm talking PMGs, ultra gold stars, star rubies, essential credentials, playmakers theater, etc. I think that guy may have the biggest MJ collection, and they're all ungraded...
That’s the first thing that came to my mind. It’s Nat, and obviously it wouldn’t look good if the owner slash ceo of PSA was also the #1 on the set registry
You just add the cert ID to your inventory, that's literally all it takes. If it is a card that someone else already has in their registry then you need to request transfer of ownership, which would require providing dated pics of the slab if the other owner says your frauding.
He’s Not even remotely in the conversation. He owns a very small quantity of very high end MJ cards. This is a whole different world. The same account is apparently also number one on the LeBron James PS I said registry as well
My guess would be someone that owns Tire99 in Japan or China, I can’t read their alphabet to tell what country their from but it’s definitely a guy overseas. Just a guess though.
I'm thinking it's Wayne Gretzky (tire=puck, 99=his jersey#) 🤓

Yes, more than 6000. I assumed they were referencing the master set.
i think this is your best video yet mate.
cheers

I might have the best of Michael Jordan collection of cards for 40 years......

(Re)tire99 from da Bulls. Its MJ!
🤔😳

I got 99 problems but a tire IS ONE 😂
😂😂😂
He’s number one in LeBron to set registry. He’s so far ahead, just like the Jordan that guy has one crazy collection.
It’s great to see the ‘84 Star has a weighting of a 10 and the ‘86 Fleer has a weighting of a 6. PSA must view the Star as the more important card. :-)
Hahahaha. So important they didn’t grade it for 30+ years Dave!
If Nat was running the show back then they would have. The old regime was too lazy to educate themselves and train the graders properly. I’m going to give Nat some grief for not buying PSA when he was 8 years old haha
I say Josh is the best collector until the other guy reveals himself!

William.jap? I just followed this guy on IG, some very nice raw MJs indeed 🔥🔥🔥
@@jonhonrado8143 yeah, some crazy cards
What’s his IG handle
That’s the first thing that came to my mind. It’s Nat, and obviously it wouldn’t look good if the owner slash ceo of PSA was also the #1 on the set registry
It’s not. He’s 9th on the list I think.
Like 20% of the weights never make any sense. Must have been a baseball guy working on it.
Tire99 must be living rent free in a lot of yall MJ collectors minds lol
What verification occurs to confirm these ppl have got all these cards? Do they just send a link to their vault?

i,m number 25 on jordan registry
I stay hidden for a reason bud
😂😂😂
Do you know nick uliano? Seems like he has a crazy mj collection that is a little hidden. Many 1/1 autos
He’s Not even remotely in the conversation. He owns a very small quantity of very high end MJ cards. This is a whole different world. The same account is apparently also number one on the LeBron James PS I said registry as well
I know this is probably card collector 101, but how do I find the set registry on the PSA site?
Top menu. It’s in the main oage
Ah, I found on my PC, I couldn't find it on my phone.
My guess would be someone that owns Tire99 in Japan or China, I can’t read their alphabet to tell what country their from but it’s definitely a guy overseas. Just a guess though.
Jordan himself with a shell company is my guess
I'd call Walter K. Nahm, M.D., Ph.D. from San Diego and ask him.
Probably someone who wants be anonymous.
Satoshi Nakamoto of the MJ World 🤣
Probably Isiah Thomas. He loves MJ!
😂😂😂
I read somewhere tire99 is actually p diddy. 😂😂😂
🤯😂😂😂
Could it be bryan ang aka "attyball23"?
我只收集Jordan 的base card, 其他我没有錢購買😢
It’s probably Bob mtrack
He’s a LeBron Collector primarily I don’t think he’s in that conversation for Michael Jordan but I could be wrong, of course
Why does the identity of tire99 matter?
Why does the identity of the best Michael Jordan card Collector in the world matter to other Jordan card collectors? Thats your question? 🤔
@ correct
@ a potential buyer is all i can think of
Big money cardboard...
