Thank you. You did great. I had no idea and you made this so easy. My first fuel filter change. Oh fyi I'm a female and NOT a mechanic. My husband passed and I was left here to do my own mechanicing and thanks to you I have done good. I will be checking in with you to see if you can help me with the next project under this hood when itay arise. Bless you. Thanx so very much. You ROCK dude. happy holidays to you and yours.
Did you do some preparation to make sure the fule does not squirt out throught those hoses? Do I need to put some drain pan to collect stray gasoline coming out of the hoses?
The car manual says to take it to the dealership and not attempt it myself due to the fuel line being under pressure. Is that just an unnecessary precaution? Thank you!
Awesome video! I'm getting ready to do this job myself, and I've seen a lot of talk about the need to unplug the fuel pump relay, which can be SUPER difficult to locate and access. Did you do that before you replaced this one? I'd love to skip that step and just replace the filter. I appreciate any guidance!
@@FatGuyBuilds Thank you SO much! Another video I had seen about this job said you need to do it, and the factory service manual does as well.....I think it's just an over abundance of caution so gasoline doesn't spray everywhere. I just let my car sit overnight before doing the work, so the fuel lines depressurized naturally. Super easy. Thank you so much for your reply, and for making such an awesome video that helped save me a lot of money! Much respect!
Aye do you by chance know what size fuel line this car takes?!? I wanna order the right size it’s my third time around buying fuel lines so I figured I’d get some insight from someone with same vehicle

Totally unnecessary to remove pump relay unless you plan to change fuel filter while vehicle is running (bad idea)
