Samantha, hello! Making these earrings for church today to match my blouse. 🥰
I live in the Pacific Northwest. I have been in the hospital for 2 weeks, now a week home, but I was moving my home.
I am now on day 25 of being sober, no drinking. My pancreas did not appreciate the abuse, LOL
So I am settled in, and counting days until I can count months. Then months until I can count years. Years until I can no longer remember how many years, then I will truly know I have moved on!
I am always so very excited to see your videos.
May God bless you and your family and Glory.
You can DO IT! It isnt easy, but having an alternate way to handle stress gives you a great edge. You can and will heal physically to some extent, but its that little echo chamber on your shoulders that makes life difficult.
Best of luck, craft whatever makes you happy!
I’m so, so proud of you. Count minutes, hours, days… and they will turn into months and years. You are do AMAZINGLY and you should be so proud of yourself. Crafting will help you in the darkest times and when you feel like things are hard, turn to your handicrafts and they will see you through. Keep in touch and let me know how you’re getting along, ok ❤️❤️
I also use jewelry making as a stress relief. Thank you so much for sharing. The earrings are beautiful.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😊
You are so welcome! 🤗
My dear friend, I have fiddled with crafty arts since I was a young girl, my biggest worry then was how my hair looked...later - marriage, which brought husband and children with various health problems. I always had a corner where I could push those concerns away for at least a little while. Now kids are grown, my dear husband has passed, and I still crave that alone time with pretty sparkly do-dads. Home made therapy I suppose. Yes, it's the same all over the world. We have to find that comfort from within ourselves. Thank you for your time. ❤
Definitely home made therapy, for sure. I love anything sparkly too and the word “do-dads” is fabulous and makes me smile 😊
I love all of your work. I have learned a lot watching you and I love to hear you talk and laugh. I live in Connecticut. It is sunny today.
How lovely! I’ve always wanted to visit your part of the world. It always looks so pretty when I see it on TV 🥰
I can’t wait to make these! Thank you for sharing your skills and a bit about yourself - you are definitely not alone! 😊
Thanks so much! 😊 It’s good to know we’re not alone, isn’t it ❤️❤️
Hi Sam these are so beautiful, I love them! Thank you as always for sharing! Sending you hugs 🤗
Thanks so much 😊
I Love all the “Happy Accidents” just as much as the ones you taught today!!! 🤣😂🤣 Thank You so very much Sam!!! Just finished watching your Vlog, and popped over to catch the latest tutorial!!! 😍🌸🌺🌸 At the moment I haven’t the correct tools: no Bail making pliers or nylon jaw pliers. The store had the absolute nerve to be sold out of each of them ☹️ So lovely to watch your Art Therapy 🤗😊😄 Many years ago, in another life I counseled Ladies of all ages, (yes, even teenaged ones) the fine art of hammering metal wire 😉😂
I soooooo appreciate joining You on Our separate journeys to find that very important self-care!!! Have a Wonderful week 😊😊😊
How dare they not have what you need! 🫣Hope you have an amazing week, and thank you for being here with me, as always 😍
They are so colorful and remind me of Mardi Gras! These are so fun and I look forward to trying to make these. Thank you for sharing. I love the chatting as well. And the crafting is definitely my therapy too. For those discouraged about trying to make jewelry or anything for that matter, there is always a learning curve. I was super hard on myself when I first started wire wrapping. I expected it to be as easy as the much more experienced person explaining the process made it look😄. I have learned to be more patient with myself and try to slow down and relax when trying something new.
Hot here in middle Tennessee but I can't complain as there are so many trying to rebuild their lives after the terribly devastating hurricane Helene!
Helene was devastating, I believe. My thoughts are with everyone over there ❤️
So fun. Love these! I imagine this emoji rocking these pretty earrings 💃🏽
Me too! They’re so much fun 🤩
Beautiful, Samantha! You’re so creative and generous!
Thank you for watching 😍
I love these earrings. They are so pretty. Working with wire and beads is a form of therapy for me as well. My brother got me interested in it, but I just couldn't seem to get anywhere with it. Never thought about UA-cam videos. My brother passed away in 2021 and one day I found my beads, tools and wire. I started watching videos, but still wasn't getting anywhere. Then I came across some videos that helped a little. I kept hearing my brother's voice telling me he knew I had talent for it. I found your videos and things started to click into place. I'm not talented by any means, but I do enjoy making things to wear. I've even given a few pieces away to a couple of young ladies. I'm truly happy I found you, a wonderful teacher and friend.....
If you enjoy the making, and or enjoy the result....you are a success, no matter what anyone else may think. Have fun!
You’re wonderful, Jeanetta, and have become a friend to me… albeit so far away and virtually. And your brother will be so proud of you, I just know it ❤️
God bless you Sam and may he give you continued strength to deal with the things in your life. I, too, enjoy watching and making wire jewelry for basically similar reasons. Thank you for your time and sharing your ideas. You're very clever and I enjoy watching and listening to you. Be well and thank you for today's ideas❤.❤❤❤
Thank you so much! ☺️ and I appreciate your kindness very much
I actually love listening to you talk about your story and love learning to make beautiful jewelery!
That’s very kind of you to say, thank you ☺️
Sooo cute. They look a little like bows also which apparently are considered trending in the jewelry scene for 2024. Love your channel. All your tutorials are very well explained and easy to follow. I'm watching from California and enjoy your "chatty" tutorials. Keep them coming.
Oh thank you! ☺️ that’s very kind
I’m in love with the multicolored one. The structure of the earring is a fun and care-free design. It’s going on my list! ❤️ Thanks so much for sharing yourself with us. BIG HUGS
Thank you for the hugs 🤗
I really love these earrings! Recently, I was having "one of those days". I talked to my daughter and her 3 year old son. As we were saying goodbye, He hollered "I LOVE YOU GRANDMA CINDY " made my day. About a week later, I got a letter from her. There were only 2 things in it, a picture from my Grandson that she labeled be happy grandma I love you. The other was a sticker from her that said my mind is like someone dumped the junk drawer on the trampoline! Between crying for the love from my Grandson and the sticker being so descriptive, I wasn't sure whether to cry or laugh.😂😂😂
The visual of the junk drawer on the trampoline is just perfect for one of THOSE days! 💜
Add a set of twin baby goats to mine...!!
😝🥰
I love this soooo much. I love the trampoline saying 😆 too! Can’t wait to hear this from my own grandson who is just developing his speech now 😍
@@MamaJLW yes it is!
@samanthalatimer1 it was the first time he said it. His father is in the Navy and they are stationed in Japan. I'm in New York.
These are so very pretty, lovely earrings. I love them. I’m doing okay, I hope you are too. I’ve been doing lots of drawing lately, occasionally getting my wire out and playing with that. Not enjoying the weather we are getting currently. More rain than sun. Another wet week on the forecast this week. I hope you have a wonderful evening, and a fantastic week. Big hugs, thank you x❤
Im happy to split the diffrence from here in northern Califlrnia...we hit 101°F today....!
Hang in there, block the drafts, and stock up on hot chocolate!!
It’s been a rotten and rainy summer, I think, this year. The wettest I can remember for a long time. Have a wonderful week, Lesley xx ❤️
Another innovative design. I appreciate that you thoroughly explain every step. I have been making jewelry (and costumes), since the mid to late 1960s. That was my 'side-hustle', I also had a full-time job until I retired in 2020. Being creative 'feeds my soul', it has been my mental escape. Plus it became profitable when I started doing shows. I am always happy to learn new techniques, designs, etc. Samantha always offers informative!, entertaining and lovely designs. Making show clothes for entertainers required large accessories so they are visible from the stage. 5" earrings were a minimum. 'Shoulder Dusters' were more the norm. The smallest seed beads I ever purchased was 6/0 - rarely was I able to locate 3/0. Many people comment that my pieces are 'a bit of a statement', I always reply Thank You! I realize it might not have always been meant as a compliment but that doesn't phase me. My dear departed Mother said about me, her only child - 'she was born too old to worry about what people think about her '. As usual she was correct. At 74 that hasn't changed. Love your channel Samantha!
I very much appreciate your kind comments, thank you so much ☺️
Special kids have special moms 💫 Although it feels like it some days, you are not alone. There are so many of us. You are loved and are stronger than you know❤
(edited for spelling )
Creative activity is a wonderful way to have something in your life that you CAN control. That feeling of mastery, of bending wire to your will is a mental health saver when so much else is beyond your control. When the results are beautiful it's a bonus. Your work is lovely; I always look forward to being inspired with your videos.
So true! Special kids DO have special Moms!!!
They definitely do and I need to remind myself of this some times 🥰 Thank you for your kindness ❤️
You’re The best, there’s no words to express, just how much , I enjoy watching you, and yes, I agree with you, about all of us having our moments ( we just have different addresses )
I truly ❤️ you!
God bless you!
Thank you so much for your kindness 🥰
I love these earrings. You always inspire me. You do such beautiful things Thank you. ❤
You are so welcome 🤗
I just love listening to you as you make your jewelry, these earrings are beautiful very 😊 cheerful!!! I still haven't posted my earrings to the group as I have some issue's right now but I'm going to. Love your videos !!! Have a wonderful day 😊
Please do! I’d love to see 🥰 But only when you’re ready… there’s no pressure at all ❤️
Hi Samantha!! Love, LOVE the flower/ snowflake shaped elements!!! I don't see anything wrong with them, and they are very inspiring to Me!!👍👍🤗.
Sorry that you have those life challenges that stress you,, as many of us do. But they only make us stronger, and lead us to learning new things to help us along the pathwsys of our current lives...( imho)
Love the beaded pieces also,!! Always looking for new ways to use up my stash!!!!Big Live Hugs from a cross the pond!!💝🎃🤗🙋🏻♀️🍁
Thank you so much! ☺️ and you’re so right in what you say 🥰
Hello Ms Samantha, you always make me laugh. I guess it is because we are so much a like. I have been making jewelry for about 20 years now. I do suffer from anxiety and tend to switch off on watching other videos, but not yours. You are so entertaining, and I mean it in a nice way. I truly enjoy watching your tutorials. You explain it is with such patience and make it look so easy. I live in Nevada. Thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas.
So lovely to have kindred spirits 😍 Thank you for watching ❤️
Sam I love that you faff about with jewelry and I also love that word. It is wonderful that you have a way to relax AND be able to share your jewelry making with us. I have learned so much. Who says it is the right way or wrong way. They need to find another channel to watch. Keep on keeping on and thank you for sharing❤
You are so welcome! 🤗 Thank you for watching and listening to me faff 🤩
Thank you so much for your very kind comments 🥰
I always look forward to your videos and what you're going to show us. Thank you Sam.🤗🌻
You are so welcome! 🤗
Your designs are amazing and I love them. Sending tight hugs to you on those difficult days my friend. ❤️🙏🏻
I appreciate that very much, thank you ☺️
I understand using crafts to get my mind off the problems in life. I do the same. The person that having problems with the piece they were working on, when things aren't going the way I think they should while working on craft items, I walk away and get a drink or a snack. That helps me keep my crafting enjoyable and not another problem. Love these earrings , so cute!
Crafts help us in all sorts of ways, I think. It’s good to keep our hands and minds busy 😍
This is a great component. Your instructions are very clear. Thank you
Glad it was helpful! 🥰
Our street this week from Thursday to Saturday had a huge street junk sale. I put out my jewelry I made and sold 130 dollars worth of. I was so happy. My first time of selling jewelry. It was tiring but worth it.
Isnt that an awesome feeling?? Its like when your mom loves everything you do, even the screwups, and then some stranger says, hey, I LIKE that!.....
That is awesome! 🙌 selling at fairs etc., is exhausting but if you have a good day, it’s very rewarding in lots of ways ☺️ Nice job 👍🏻
They’re cute , remind me of angels
They do look a little like angels 😇
Sam, I have been watching your videos for quite some time! I very much enjoy watching what you create & have incorporated many of yout ideas in my creations. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I am from Washington state USA. ❤❤❤
Thank you very much! It’s lovely to hear you’re enjoying the videos 😍
These earrings I am making right away, talk about fantastic Christmas gifts?!?!.
I love these earrings Samantha, If I was a few years younger, I would dance the heck out of them. Also, I understand being isolated, I live in a very isolated place in Mendocino Co in N Ca. Way up a mountain, I do have wonderful views of forests and vineyards but it does get lonely. Please do as much talking as you please Samantha… I LOVE IT ‼️♥️
Perfect for gifting, aren’t they! I feel like dancing with them in too, and maybe I will take them dancing soon ☺️
Samantha I want to thank you so much for how you teach wire wrapping, explaining each step, going under or over etc as I suffered a stroke at only 48 and it affected my perception, eyesight and other thing's 🤭 I lost my business and my abilities to use certain item's like my kiln and power tool's 😢 your site is just what I needed, so again, thank you 💜
Oh I’m so sorry to hear of your health issues. I hope you’re doing ok?
On the ear wires. I went to the last one Love It and now I have to work my way back. THANK YOU!
You are so welcome! 🤗
I love your creation and adding a bit of colour into my life as well, thank you. Chat away , it’s great. Since I’m a beginner at wire work, I am watching your episodes more than once or twice to get it right and enjoy it. 😊
Colour is joyful isn’t it. Thank you for watching 😍
I think Carnival wraps is a great name for these pretty danglers
I think so too! Thank you so much for watching ☺️
These look like earrings for Mardi Gras, although not technically the standard colors of green, purple and gold. Also reminds me of bows. Whatever they are named, they are lovely! Another handy pattern from you!
I love to hear you chatter on in your videos about life. It’s too bad you can’t hear our responses and chatter back. Ignore any negativity and remember all the love sent your way!❤
Maybe ‘Love Earrings’ or ‘Festival Earrings’.
I’d love to be able to hear the chatter back… like friends sitting around a big table, having a natter and a faff with crafts 🥰
I just started watching the video but I wanted to say, I loved the mandala looking wire components...you could hang a brio or crystal in the middle and it'd make a gorgeous pendant!! I'll put my full thoughts as a reply to this. I get what you were saying though...wire work is where I struggle but I was doing a design based on a design prompt from Sam's Bead Shop that was to use cube beads. So, I use black, faceted spinel cubes, square turquoise seed beads between them...then, I made a square hook and clasp and even did wrapped squares instead of loops. It took many, MANY tries to get something I'd be proud to post online. Originally, I was going to take a picture and then take it apart and use the beads in other projects...but then it became a visual reminder that I can do hard things and that if I stick with it...I can make the design that I saw in my mind, into an actual piece of jewelry!! 😊📿🫶🏻💓
Absolutely love your comment! It’s all about the joy of making, isn’t it 🥰
@@samanthalatimer1 it definitely is!!
I look forward to your videos each week. I love your chatty style and your laugh. Your designs are simple and elegant. I have never used my six step pliers as much as I have since I found you. It is such a valuable tool. Thank you for teaching us how to create beautiful pieces. I love your link tutorials and the earrings. Everything is good actually. Im writing from Massachusetts. Fall is in full force. Great sleeping weather.
Sigh...yes, Im finally resigning myself to needing more/better tools, and it is ALL Samantha's fault!! I just cant help wanting to make her patterns!!
(A bit of teasing here, youre really givong me the perfect excuse go justify new purchases...!)
lol 😂 I am SO sorry for making you spend your money 😂🫣😂
That’s so lovely of you, thank you! ☺️
All I can say is wow.
That’s very kind of you, thank you ☺️
I am from a University town in north eastern Kansas. I love your channel. And follow you every video, just to see what you’re doing and how you are!
That’s so lovely, thank you ☺️
1st time watching you. I am from India!napolis, Indiana USA.
Welcome! It’s lovely to have you here ☺️
Hello Samantha, I am trying your technique and having fun listening to you. I'm in Texas 🤠
Thank you for watching ☺️
I recently came across your channel and love it very much, such beautiful items and tutorials. I also began making jewelry to relieve stress. It is truly a lufe savior at times. I find myself in my craft room in the middle of the night when I can't sleep. Some low music and the creativity of making something new. My mind seems to be at its best in the middle of the night. I have a bunch of health issues, and sleeping can be difficult, so rather than toss n turn, I put it to work. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this crazy world, and despite y'all being all over the world, (I'm in North/Central New York) it brings us all a bit closer. ❤ God bless and prayers to you and your family. Thank you for bringing us all a bit closer 😊😉
Thank you so much for your very kind words ☺️
So cute! They look complicated but are so easy in the demo. Thanks for sharing. I live in Florida, USA. We are prepping for hurricane Milton right now which is suppose to be quite devasting. It will touch land this Wednesday. Just praying it will slow down and possibly go another direction.
Oh I hope you’ll all be ok. Will be thinking of you Floridians - especially after you’ve just had Helene. Stay safe ❤️
Oh my, I hope you show how to make 2:26 the motifs they are so pretty also
Tutorial on its’ way 😍😍😍
BEAUTIFUL EARRINGS ❤❤❤
Thank you ☺️
Just watched this on the tv , you wanted a name ? 3 ring circus. 🤡 earings ❤🇨🇦❤️ I love them. I only bought stainless steel and I do find it’s not that bendy . I hope I can buy craft wire soon… don’t let people bother you. I find a lot of people don’t have manners or raised with manners. I am enjoying watching I hope I can figure this one out . ❤️🇨🇦❤️
I love that name! Totally apt 🎪 and yes, stainless is hard to work with for sure. Hope you get your new wire soon 😍
Beautiful! Thank you.❤
You’re welcome ☺️
Beautiful as usual.
Thank you so much 😊

I remade my granddaughter 'so earrings. Very windy here
Not too windy, I hope, Deborah? Wind has calmed down here, somewhat, but autumn has definitely landed. The trees are turning and the leaves are starting to fall. My favourite season 🥰
Where do get your large spoils of wire. I would like to buy wire in bulk.
I buy mine from www.wires.co.uk
The smallest of the “mistakes “ you made looks like an owls’ face!
It does! 🦉
Do what you need to do if it helps do it
Absolutely 💯
Bohemian
😍
Hi Sam, what I meant to say is these earrings challenge me just a little bit and that’s good. 🫶🏼🥰
