The love affair is over. Only reason they existed is because of the hatred of the wwe at the time. Ppvs mean nothing if the weekly shows mean nothing. Good wrestling is not enough. The only way aew will “find their stride” is if tony khan sells the company. You need a grown up to be boss. Period point blank.

@@RatedRTokyo that was mainly it. I'm one of those people, but now AEW is stale. Also, the fact that wrestlers are injury prone due to lack of care is another reason
@@RatedRTokyo ive been saying that and nobody was listening to me, i told everyone that this vince stuff (whenever he initially announced his retirement in 2022), whatever it may be, is the worst thing to happen to aew and they tried to clown on me
Just watch 2019-2021 AEW cause you will definitely find out what's missing in this current version of the program.
AEW is like watching all the fight scenes from John Wick without the context.
Sure it would be entertaining for a while because those fights are great, but after a while you miss the actual movie part of the movie.
There's been a lot that has happened to AEW from bad decisions to the Video Game disaster and Gaming Fans feeling ripped off about it, but when you watch, there's still things that AEW does show that can give you that glimmer of what was making them so great. What hurt me was my favorite AEW Wrestlers going down with injuries or getting released. Kenny Omega is sidelined and man, I hope and pray he can make a return. If Brock Lesnar did, I believe Kenny Omega can. If y'all know about that connection, then you know. For those who don't, Brock also had diverticulitis. CM Punk was one of my favorites, now he's back in WWE. Adam Copeland though, he's another that I can call a favorite out of a Locker Room full of Wrestlers who I do like. If AEW can turn those glimmers into full on shines, then maybe, just maybe, they'll rebuild themselves back up and we'll be able to get an AEW: Fight Forever 2 Video Game that fully lives up to what the first one should have been.
Also alyx if you saw that the young bucks cut a promo saying that Tony khan made them attack him and that was he was the problem I was like bruh didn’t y’all had him go out on tv with Jack perry in the first place after he said that he shouldn’t be an ON TV CHARACTER???
How was TK a character though? He was just being himself, AND TK said that 5 years ago. Not all things people say are gonna stick, which ALL OF US know from watching WWE for the last 10-15 years.

I cant even be bothered to watch clips of Dynamite or Colission anymore. Where before I would ensure Thursday and Sunday mornings to make time to catch the best clips. Thats how much my interest has evaporated. Im going to All In, only because im looking forward to the day out and because I booked my ticket last year when I was still following. I probably wont have a clue what is going on storyline wise lol.
They so badly need MJF back.
TK has to hire a team of bookers and improve on weekly shows for real. Aew does not have to wait for injured stars to comeback to pick up steam.
He's got a creative team, Jennifer Pepperman is booking the woman. All TK has is final say, maybe TK stepping from head of creative will help

Yep, again it's mainly to do with booking and pacing of angles. It's too patchy, there's potential for most of the upcoming feuds, the problem is with how it's been delivered. AEW need to fix this as soon as possible, before eventually becoming another company that tried but failed to provide a sustainable alternative.

AEW has storylines developing, are they all good no. Tony should never be an onscreen character. Dynamite still has matches just for the sake of matches and that isn’t storytelling.

Brand Splits are dumb! I don’t even understand why WWE insists on having one.
@ericdxfan511 I think its an idea that stemmed back from when they never had a viable competitor so decided to create competition 'within the brand' and its just stuck ever since.
Turn RoH into their developmental brand. Make Dynamite and Collision into their Raw/SmackDown. And turn Rampage into an all female show, thereby removing the fights that the main audience clearly isn't very interested in, and giving them the focus that other fans wish they had.
If anyone old enough or did research all aew is doing is basically what tna did aew should just expect what they are and stop trying to over spend on talent your not making the money back

@@cosborne06 she was also being courted by wwe at the time and aew had to act fast in selling her the product and money to sign. Signs of desperation. Thats why you are only getting promos from her right now.
