One form for each referees is required. Tou need 2 referees, so you should submit 2 forms on your application.

Is also college educated NHS rehabilitator member of professional body? If accouter is one of them, rehabilitator should be too??
Can a friend be a referee? If so, how do we answer the question ‘how does the referee know the applicant?’

Hi @shakirathebudgie I hope you are doing well. You will get all the forms needed for the citizenship application while completing each part of the online application. A link will be shown each time you need to fill in and submit a form on your appointment.

Hi! IDs have expiration for some reason. Same goes with passports. If it is expired it is considered invalid. I do jot think they will accept it. But give them, immigration, a call to double check.

Hi Fritz, on the online form, what do we need to write about how referee know the applicant. How much details you think we need to enter. Is it enough to say we are colleague and we are working together etc.. what kind of personal info they looking ?

My referees are also my colleagues before. I also wrote the date when I met them (just to prove that we have known each other for 2 years), and that they became my friends to the date of my application. Yours is also fine so long as they are not your relative or your solicitor.

i have another question which confuses me as well. I came to UK in 2016 and am holder of ILR now since 2021.
When i calculate absence, do i need to enter my absences from 2016 to 2022 from 2017 to 2022 ?
and also 2021 which is my ILR year is not counted inside of that 5 year period 450 days, right ?
2021 - 2022 is the year which i shouldnt have gone out of country more 90 days i guess ?
I am from pakistan, can i use professional referee from pakistan (not British citizen)

Hi. Hope you are well. I believe so, it does apply to both referees and to be honest I am not sure how they will check. The form will do a proof maybe, as it will be signed by your referees.

I was about to fill the forms in. But then I realised that the form should be completed by the referee themselves as per the guidelines, so I let my referees fill the forms in. Though both their handwriting looks familiar. 😅

Can you change a referee after you’ve completed the online form?
Hi Mimi! I hope you are doing well.
I believe once you completed the online application and made payment you can no longer change your answers as they will be sent online. But if it is really necessary to change anything, on the the day of your appointment you can submit a cover letter citing your reason for change and give them a new referee form, so long as your referees meet all the criteria. You might want to ask the home office to confirm what is the right action to do.

One of my referees is 2 months away from knowing me for 3 years, will that be an issue?
Requirement says minimum of 3 years. 😉
So if you send the form via email, they sign and scan and send back is ok?

A pensioner or retired can fit the second referee criteria if that person is a British citizen him/herself. As he or she is already retired/pensioner that means he/she would not count as someone with professional standing. Hope this helps.
Did you send these referee form hardcopy to your referee and then they will signed it back to via post. Or we can send form to referee via email and they can signed and get it back to me via email?

Hi! I don’t think e-signature is acceptable. I had the forms signed by my referees in person. That was like 3 years ago. Not sure now.

Hindi ko din po kase alam ang isasagot. 😅 DIY ko lang din po ung application ko, not sure with child application iba po kase ang criteria nila for referees. Sorry. Can you say with certainty that doctors are acceptable even though they are not in the list?
@@F__A Yes you are correct. Sorry. I did check the link again. I was surprised doctors are not actually included. Please still refer to the link. Pardon my reply. I think, for children applying for citizenship, GPs can be a referee for the child.
